Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Don't tell me what to do," Light responded with a bark, though she started growling again when that was done. She kept her hard blue eyes on Riku in front of her, her nose nearly touching his as her teeth were bared. While she was aware that two people were watching this whole thing, she didn't care. Get out of the way, Riku. I can't linger here anymore.
"I'll tell you what to do when I feel it's best for you," Riku barked, his eyes sharp as he stared at the woman he loved. "Are you effected by the Darkness or not?" He knew that's what was slowing her down. It had to be. If it wasn't that, it was what happened back in Twilight Town. He needed to know, now.

Lightning's eyes remained narrowed, and she took a step forward and to the side while lightly hitting Riku's muzzle with her own. "Leave it," she snapped, referring to the conversation he was trying to hold with her. She wasn't going to humor him right now. She started walking past him, though she was still very close to him since he had been right in front of her a second ago.

Riku growled again before turning quickly, tackling Lightning to the ground. They needed to have a talk, now. He wasn't about to let her walk away from this when she clearly wasn't herself.

Kairi took a step forward without thought when she saw Riku's action, not knowing what to make of what he was doing. What was going on? Why were they fighting?

Light barked when Riku tackled her, and if she was angry before, she was even more ticked off now. "Riku," she snapped, her teeth showing more than before as she turned her neck to look at him. He needed to get off her and stop pressuring her. She was going to make it to that portal or die trying.
Riku bared his teeth as he growled at Lightning, not happy about her behavior. "Don't lie to me anymore," he demanded. "You're weak from the Darkness, aren't you? That's what's the matter with you." He knew it; it was something he could just feel. Lightning needed to tell him now, because he wasn't willing to lose her because of a stupid and reckless lie. "Tell the truth."

"Get off!" Light ordered, snapping her jaw at Riku but purposely stopping right in front of his nose. She wouldn't actually hurt him, but she would threaten him until she got her way. She was already feeling terrible, and Riku wasn't making things any better. She could only hold back any sounds of pain because she was already growling at Riku in anger. She couldn't let him see he was right.
Riku was a little surprised by the snap, but he only continued to glare at Lightning. "No," he growled lowly. He wouldn't get off of her, because she was avoiding the problem and the question. He wasn't okay with that.

Lightning heard her growl turn more vicious as she squirmed on the ground, managing to roll out from under Riku and get back up on her four legs without too much trouble. They still weren't too close to the wall, but they were close enough that she was feeling its effects. She supposed that since Sora and Kairi were fine, that proved whatever happened with the pods worked. But she would have to tough it out and get through the wall despite the pain involved.
"Claire!" Riku barked loudly, the sound one of anger. She had to stop this! Didn't she understand? He didn't want her to get worse. He didn't want to lose her, and she was just pushing him and his concerns away.

Light barked angrily in return, her fur starting to stand up on her back as she glared at Riku from her spot. "Back off," she warned lowly, her icy blue eyes on his aqua ones. She didn't care how angry he was, because her temper might have beaten his in the end. She was going to do this her way, and he wasn't going to stop her. And neither was the horrid Darkness that made her want to collapse.
Riku lowered his head a little, his ears flat on his head as he bared his teeth. "And what if I don't?" he challenged lowly, growls leaving his throat as he ignored that Kairi and Sora were watching from a few yards away. Would Lightning fight him if he didn't stop?

Light continued growling, her body lower to the ground as she started moving to circle Riku. She ignored Sora's protesting from his spot and kept her eyes on Riku, her gaze seeming to say it all. Stop trying to get in my way. I don't care what it takes as long as I get through that wall. She wouldn't let herself suffer the humiliation of being defeated by the Darkness.
Riku turned his head, slowly matching Light's steps with his eyes. "Don't be stupid," he growled, his aqua eyes on her pale blue. "You may be a soldier as a person, but you aren't a certified warrior on all fours." He didn't want a fight against her; he just wanted her to be safe. But, she clearly wanted the opposite. She wouldn't dare....

"Yeah, well, neither are you," Lightning growled in return, still circling Riku. She didn't even have a weapon when she was in this form, but Riku did. However, she doubted he would ever raise his weapon to her, so she had nothing to worry about. The wolf in her wanted to take out her anger and frustration on whoever ticked her off, and even if she knew it wasn't a good idea, giving into her instincts sounded nice.
"Didn't say I was," Riku replied, taking a small step to the side to stay even with Lightning's movements. "But I'm not acting like one, either." She was, for whatever reason. Did she really think she was intimidating him? Yeah, he didn't like her being angry with him, but he was standing up for what he believed was right. He wasn't going to back down.

Light almost completely finished her original circle, stopping when she was in the position closest to the wall she could get. "Forget it," she snapped at Riku. She wasn't going to fight him and waste her energy here; she needed to make it through the wall. She turned around and started walking towards it again, tail between her legs and her ears pressed against the back of her head. This Darkness is...painful.
Riku saw what Light was doing, and how smoothly she did it. "Nice try," he said, running forward and skidding to a halt right in front of Lightning and the portal. "You're not leaving until we talk about this." No way was she going through that portal.

Light's eyes narrowed when Riku was right in front of her again, and she knew she should have tried to go faster. But even though a good thirty feet separated her from the portal, she felt awful. She couldn't help but whine, her eyes going away from Riku's. She hated that he was right, that she couldn't handle this Darkness.
Riku heard that whine, and he turned his head, finding Sora and Kairi. "You guys go on ahead," he said with a small motion toward the portal. "I'll catch up in a second." He needed to talk to Lightning...in private.

"Okay," Sora said with a small nod, nudging Kairi with his nose before he turned around and started towards the portal. He was sure Riku would come after them, because he wouldn't have made that promise if he didn't intend to keep it. He wondered what Light would do, but he would find out later.
Kairi glanced at Lightning briefly before she turned around as well. Following Sora's lead, she started toward the portal. She made sure to stay by his side, just like he requested. Even in wolf form, she was dedicated to him.

Light glanced past Riku to Sora and Kairi briefly before her eyes went back to the ground. She sat down not because she wanted to, but because her back legs just suddenly gave out on her in weakness. She always hated the Darkness, but this...and how this affected her, it was just terrible. Even Kairi could withstand it now, but Lightning, a trained soldier, couldn't. It was humiliating.
Riku turned his gaze back to Lightning once Sora and Kairi were headed toward the portal, and he took a small step closer to her. "Come with me," he said, his tone softer this time. She needed to get away from the portal.

Lightning yelped softly, that being her weak protest. She knew Riku was going to lead her away from the portal, and she wouldn't have the nerve to get even this close again if she walked away now. She couldn't accept defeat, especially not one that was because of a total failure on her part. She should have been stronger than this.
