Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku whined a little, unable to help it. He nudged Lightning's muzzle gently. "Please?" he asked, another whine leaving him. He didn't want her to be near the portal because it caused her to be weak, and if she were away from it, they would both be more comfortable.

Lightning whimpered and laid down in the grass, turned a little since Riku was right in front of her. She didn't want to admit it, but it was too little too late. She couldn't move away because of the weakness that now had her overwhelmed, the young woman finding it hard enough to keep her head up that she just laid it in the grass instead. "...I can't..."
Riku whined again, ducking his head and licking Lightning's fur. "Just hold on," he told her gently. He would fix this. He lifted his head and stepped over, following Sora's example from earlier. He grabbed Light's fur on her back and started pulling, starting to drag her across the grass. He would get her near the rocks, which were quite a few yards away. She would be better there.

Light shut her eyes when Riku started dragging her, and if she had been able to speak aloud, a variety of swear words probably would have left her lips. Instead, soft whines left her, the pain from the Dark portal nearby adding onto the pain she never recovered from. A day ago in Twilight Town...she had never lost the headache she gained from that experience, and she felt ten times worse than the last time she was at the dark wall because of it.
It took a few minutes, but Riku finally got Lightning behind the rock wall, where she would hopefully be more comfortable. He released her, though he put a paw over her and started to lick the fur on her head. I'm sorry, he thought silently. He didn't mean to snap on her... He just wanted her to be safe.

Lightning kept her eyes shut, feeling Riku licking the fur on her head as she remained laying on her side. The effects from the wall were starting to wear off, but her head was still buzzing because of how badly the headache had intensified back there. If she had gotten any closer to the portal than she already had, it would have gotten worse to the point where she would have been surprised if she didn't black out. It was bad.
Riku continued licking Light's head, though he stopped after another moment. "I'm sorry," he yapped weakly. He just didn't want her to push herself too hard. If she did that, it could have been really bad. "I know you want to keep going, but..." But she couldn't. She would end up getting hurt.

Light whined, knowing what Riku was going to say even before he finished it. She rolled off her side and curled up into a ball, her nose against her own fur as her eyes were shut. She knew that he was right, and she hated it. She was the weakest link of the group right now. She wasn't used to that feeling at all, since she had always been one of the strongest wherever she went before this.
Riku stepped back when Lightning moved a little, and he noticed that she wasn't responding. He closed his eyes and released a breath through his nose. Maybe I should just stay with her, he thought. Maybe it could help.

"Get going," Light said softly after a moment, hearing Riku's breath. She could manage on her own for the time that Riku was in the Realm of Darkness helping Namine and his other friends. She may have been too weak to go through the portal, but she was capable of defending herself.
Riku opened his eyes to look at Lightning, gazing at her for a moment. He bent down and licked the top of her head, kissing her one more time before he pulled back. "Be safe," he told her gently. He then stepped over her, starting back toward the portal at a light run. He would try to make it back soon.

Light hummed at Riku's advice, her eyes staying shut when she heard him run off. She wasn't up to moving yet, so she would stay hidden by the rocks for a while. It seemed like the creatures here avoided being right by the borderline to the Realm of Darkness, so in a way, staying close was good for her. But she would still move away as soon as she could because of the weakness and pain. She would find a safe place to hide out till her friends returned.
Riku approached the portal, figuring Sora and Kairi must have already gone through. He stopped, peering over his shoulder. He couldn't see Lightning, but he knew she was there. He wanted nothing more than to apologize and stay with her for as long as she needed him, but...it didn't seem like she did. Be back soon, he thought, facing forward and walking through the portal.

Later

Sora knocked on the front door of the house he was told to come to, Riku and Kairi in tow with him. They stopped by the coliseum to see if any of their new friends had an idea of where Roxas and Namine were, and they did. Jeremy had been taking care of her since they found her. So, they were at his house now, and he was sure that Roxas was inside with Namine. He had been in this realm at least three days, so surely he found Namine by now.

Grace took liberty of answering the door this time, since Jeremy was in the middle of a conversation with the others. She approached the door, grabbing the handle and pulling it open. Upon seeing the three from the Light, she nodded. "We've been expecting you three," she said softly. Their friends were here, so it was only predictable that they would come as well. Grace opened the door more, stepping aside. "Come in."

"Thanks," Sora said with a nod, stepping inside the house. It didn't look that different from one that would be in the Realm of Light. In fact, he could almost picture this city being in his realm except for how it was darker than usual. Regardless, he was hardly humoring those thoughts when things were so serious. Had Roxas found a way to break Namine's curse yet? Or had he been waiting for them to arrive?

Grace saw the other two follow Sora in, and spotting the redhead's worried expression, she decided to fill them in. "Your friends are just down the hall," she said, shutting the door behind them. "Second door on the right." She caught Riku's eye before going back into the living room, leaving the three to go talk to their friends.

At the information, Kairi hurried forward, past Sora. She made her way quickly down the hall, wanting to see her sister. She hoped she was alright. If something happened to Namine, she would be so upset.

Namine didn't hear the hurried footsteps coming down the hall, the door to the bedroom shut. That hardly made a difference to her, though, since she was currently unconscious. She was fading in and out of consciousness all day because of the fever, which wouldn't go away. Despite that, she was glad that Roxas was close, holding her. His warmth was one she actually savored, unlike the burning of her skin.
Roxas heard rushed footsteps and then a soft knock at the door. It opened a second later, and when he saw who it was, he lifted a finger to his lips. Namine was nearly asleep, and he guessed she would be in a minute or so. He saw Kairi nod before she came in the room, stopping near the bed to look down at Namine. He was glad his friends were finally here, since it'd been nearly three days now.

Sora entered the room after Kairi, seeing Roxas and Namine on the bed. He stopped next to Kairi, shifting his gaze from Namine to Roxas. "Hey," he said softly. "Sorry we're late." They spent at least two days traveling through the Twilight Realm, and then they spent over a day in Twilight Town. He hadn't expected them to be this late, but obviously they came as soon as they could.

Riku walked in last, in time to see Roxas nod at Sora's words. "How's she holding up?" he asked, making sure to be quiet since Namine looked like she was asleep. She didn't look good, though.

"She's not doing well," Roxas said, looking down at the girl he loved. He moved his hand back to rest on her arm, keeping her close to his body. "The curse is making her sick. But...we can't find a cure." He lifted his eyes to his friends, sadness and worry expressed in them. He couldn't lose Namine, but...there seemed like there wasn't any way to make her feel better.

  • Author
Sora blinked, surprised to hear that. "The others don't know a cure?" he asked softly. That was surprising to him, considering that they lived in this realm and knew about how the curse was received. But they didn't know how to cure it? That really wasn't a good sign. If they didn't know, how were he and his friends supposed to figure this out?
Roxas shook his head. "I don't think they ever got the chance to find out," he said softly, for Namine's sake. "Zant probably didn't let them know, since all that mattered was that someone was hurt or killed in the end." But this...this was torture. He couldn't stand to see Namine this way. He wanted her to be healthy again.
  • Author
Sora glanced down and over to the side as he lifted a hand to his head, scratching it with his finger. Well...Unfortunately, Roxas's judgment seemed to make sense. Zant was an extremely cruel man, and of course he wouldn't want any compassion shown to a person he hated enough to send into the arena to get mauled. And honestly, this was probably one of the first times somebody survived their mauling. There was no need to cure the curse on a dead man, so nobody tried it before.
Kairi bit her bottom lip, her eyes resting on the blonde that was like a sister to her. She couldn't be cured? She didn't want to believe that, knowing that Namine had to turn out fine...somehow, someway. This wasn't the way her life was supposed to be. "We have to do something," she said softly, her eyes going to Sora and Riku. "She can't keep living like this."
