Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Sora nodded faintly in agreement, though his gaze was still down. He didn't know where to start looking for a cure, though. He was sure that during the past few days, Roxas and the other Keybladers tried finding something. But obviously they weren't successful. How were they supposed to know where to look to find a way to remove this curse?
Riku stared down at the ground with his arms crossed over his chest, feeling that he should have known this since he was stuck so long in the Darkness. "The only thing that weakens the Darkness is Light," he said, eyebrows furrowing. "But...that sounds almost too easy." The cure couldn't be that simple, could it?

"And we don't really know the laws of this realm," Sora added, looking over at Riku. "Things could work differently here." Sure, Riku was in the Realm of Darkness for a while, but he wasn't an expert on every topic of this realm. He doubted his best friend ever looked into a curse like this, that would keep a person trapped in this realm.
Riku turned his head, nodding once he met Sora's gaze. "Looks like we don't have any choice but to go look around," he said, uncrossing his arms. He looked back to Roxas in time to see him about to protest, but he spoke before he could. "The best place to look could be at the coliseum, in Zant's quarters. That's our best bet." If anyone knew of a cure, it had to be Zant. There had to be something in his office, a journal of some kind if they were lucky.

"Sorry to interrupt," Mandy said from her spot in the doorway, having just arrived in time to hear Riku say how he planned on finding a cure. "But there's nothing at the coliseum. We never knew for sure, but we guessed that Zant never actually lived on this world. Judging by his appearance, we've narrowed it down so that he's from one world in this realm, and that world happens to be the most dangerous one here. Every person there has evil intent and will kill you on the spot if they see you. ...But if there's any information, it'll probably be on that world."

Riku turned around, his eyes narrowing at the words. "And what world would that be?" he prodded quietly. They needed the information for the cure, now. Whatever world it was, they needed to get there and get back to save Namine.

"It's called the Forsaken Fortress," Mandy said, taking her shoulder off the doorway and looking over the group. "But it's anything but abandoned. It's a land of highly skilled thieves, bandits, and sorcerers. We've done some research over the past few days, and it seems like the lions didn't naturally hold that curse, but it was something bestowed upon them a few centuries ago by the sorcerers of that world. If they know how to make someone give the curse, then they probably know how to take it away, too. From the lions and from Namine."

Riku heard the name, which made him furrow his eyebrows a little more. "Well, that definitely doesn't sound familiar," he said, looking to Sora. He was in the Realm of Darkness for a year and he never even heard of that place. "Regardless, we should check it out." He knew that by the sound of it, the people there would recognize them as outsiders. They would probably need disguises.

"You guys are going to get yourselves killed if you do this recklessly," Mandy said, eyebrows furrowed over her gray eyes as she looked over the group. She was a Keyblade wielder in this realm, and very fearless, but she still didn't dare going to this world. Someday she and her friends would restore justice on that world, but not today. They had their own world to focus on.

Kairi looked over at Mandy, her eyes resting on the girl. "Are there any disguises that could help us blend in?" she asked. She wasn't about to be left out of this. This was to help the girl who was like her sister, so she was definitely going to tag along.

Sora answered before Mandy could. "You're not coming, Kai," he declared, shaking his head. There was no way he was going to let her go to such a dark and dangerous world. Zant had been bad enough, and a whole people group like him would be even worse. He was sure he and Riku and Roxas (if he decided to come) could handle going there, but Kairi couldn't. He wouldn't let her.
Kairi's eyes found Sora's. They were wide in surprise at first, but then they hardened, the girl's stubborness making an appearance. "Yes I am, Sora. I want to help Namine," she said softly. She didn't want to stay behind again. She wanted to be a part of this.

"Your Light shines too brightly," Sora argued, though his voice was soft because he believed Namine was still sleeping. "They'll be able to tell you're from the Realm of Light the second they see you." If Zant could tell she was a Princess when he first gazed at her, it was possible the people on his world had the same capability.
"I didn't go through transferring powers with Aqua for nothing, Sora," Kairi said, shaking her head slightly as she gazed at him. "There has to be some way that I can blend in with you guys." She wasn't wanting to sit around anymore. She wanted to help, somehow.

"You went through the transfer of powers to be able to make it to this realm, Kai," Sora argued, not backing down. "That's enough." If he had his way, he would have left her in the Realm of Light to keep her safe. And now she thought she had the strength to walk into a dangerous situation like this? She may have had the power, but she didn't have the experience necessary to know how to navigate a situation like this.
"To what, sit here and wait?" Kairi asked, her eyebrows furrowing slightly. "I don't want to do that, not after coming all this way." She wanted to help, and she would. She wouldn't stand on the sidelines again.

"Your Light may be able to help Namine if you stay here," Sora said, still gazing at Kairi from his spot next to her and ignoring that they weren't alone having this fight. He had seen Riku and Lightning fight worse than this earlier, so it didn't matter to him that especially Riku was watching this. It seemed like everyone was on edge because of this situation.
Kairi stared at Sora for a moment, a frown on her face. She wasn't happy with him keeping her so guarded; she had strength too. "...She's my sister," she said in a quieter tone, referring to Namine. She wanted to help her get better, and in a way that was more than just sitting around.

"And you're my fiance," Sora responded softly, his gaze also lightening a bit. "And I'm telling you right now that your place isn't beside me and Riku on this one. It's here, with your sister." This was far too dangerous for him and Riku to bring an amateur fighter along with them. Sora was sure he agreed with that, but he wondered why he was staying so quiet. He really could have used some support here.

Kairi looked away at that, her eyes falling to the ground. She linked her hands in front of her, biting her lip for a moment before she spoke. "...You agree, don't you Riku?" she asked softly, already knowing the answer. He always sided with Sora on these kinds of things. She could tell this was another one of those moments, even if he wasn't talking.

"Yeah," Riku said with a nod, his eyes resting on the girl he thought as his sister. He didn't want her going anywhere near bandits and thieves, especially those of the Darkness. Sora was right; she would stand out in a heartbeat, and they would try to hurt her.

Sora heard the silence after Riku's response, his gaze going from his best friend to his fiance and then to his Nobody. "What're you going to do, Roxas?" he asked softly. Was Roxas going to join them on this mission to get a remedy, or was he going to stay here with the girls? It was totally up to him, since Sora trusted Jeremy and the others to protect Kairi like they already had with Namine.
Roxas looked from Sora to Riku, to Kairi, and then finally to the girl in his arms. "Actually...I wanna stay with Namine," he said, looking back up at Sora. He would understand. Roxas didn't want to leave Namine's side when she was like this. Besides, he trusted Sora and Riku to find the cure and bring it back. So what if he wasn't the hero this time? He just wanted to be the guardian, like Namine said he was.

Namine didn't catch Sora's silent nod, though she opened her eyes a second after his motion was done. She had truly woken up a few minutes ago, when Sora and Kairi were arguing and forgot to keep their voices down. But she had been conscious enough before to hear all about the trip that Sora and Riku were going on. "You guys'll be careful, right?" she murmured softly, looking to the two of them. She didn't want them getting hurt.
Riku blinked when Namine spoke, not expecting her to be awake. Nonetheless, he nodded. "We won't be gone too long," he assured her. They would come back with the cure as soon as possible. She wouldn't have to worry.

Namine smiled weakly, shaking her head against Roxas's shoulder. She kept her eyes on Riku since he was the one who responded, and she had a reply of her own. "I don't care how long it takes," she murmured. "As long as you guys make it back okay." She was suffering, yes, but she didn't want her friends rushing through something this dangerous and getting hurt in the process. She would wait a little longer.
