Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku smiled a little before nodding. "Right," he said, his gaze resting on Namine for a second longer before he looked to Mandy. "Mind pointing us in the right direction?" They could take their gliders and get to the world themselves.

Kairi stared down at her hands, still having them linked together. She didn't like this, but she didn't have much of a choice. She was supposed to stay here and wait for Sora to get back.

"We'll help you guys get your disguises first. Say goodbye and we'll get going." Mandy turned around and started out the door, giving the heroes from the Realm of Light a minute to say goodbye to each other. She didn't know how long Riku and Sora would be gone, but she did know that it would be a dangerous mission.

Sora took a small step over and gave Kairi a kiss on the side of her head, seeing her expression. "Don't be too mad," he whispered softly, gazing at her with bright blue eyes. "I love you." That was why he had to keep her away from the danger. And besides, she needed more training to really know how to use her powers before she went into a dangerous situation like this.

Kairi lifted her eyes to Sora's, lifting a hand and placing it gently on his chest. "I love you too," she said softly. "Be safe." There wouldn't be much danger here, but she couldn't say the same for the other worlds. She wasn't happy still, but she understood Sora's motives underneath her stubborn attitude.

"We will," Sora promised with a small nod, knowing that both he and Riku would be extremely cautious. He smiled weakly at the girl he loved before he looked to Roxas and Namine on the bed, the teen lifting a hand and waving to them in farewell. He caught Namine nod faintly and weakly lift a hand as he started walking backwards, towards the door.
Roxas nodded, seeing Sora backing up and Riku turning to walk toward the door as well. He was grateful to them for doing this. He would repay them as soon as he could, but right now, he just wanted to hold Namine and be with her. She needed him, but not as much as she needed the cure.

Two days later

Sora and Riku landed their gliders in the forest on the Keyblader's world, the teen seeing where he and Riku hid their regular clothes. They had to wear black clothes, hoods, and colored contacts that turned their eyes gray to fit in on that world. Thankfully, all the effort they put into the mission worked, because they were able to do some sneaking around and find a way into a sorcerer's shop one night when it was closed. They worked like true thieves, making the potion that would cure Namine's curse and sneaking out before anybody found them. They did well, and now it was time to give the potion to Namine. He changed into his normal clothes and threw the other clothes into a bag along with Riku's before the two of them started towards the city where their friends were waiting.

Riku followed Sora's lead, rubbing at one of his eyes. He was annoyed with the contacts they had to wear, but at least they helped get the job done. They had the potion for Namine to take, which meant the curse would be lifted and they'd be able to return home. It'd been two days since they left, and he hoped everyone was doing alright, including Lightning. She was still in the Twilight Realm, alone. I'll find her soon, he told himself, entering the city alongside his best friend. First, they had to get rid of Namine's curse.

Sora lifted a hand and scratched the side of his head as he walked, thinking over their mission. He had to admit, there had been some close calls. On the first day, he and Riku got into a street fight with some punks who wanted to stir up trouble. But thankfully they avoided too much suspicion and walked away from the brawl unscathed. That fight actually led to them overhearing a conversation about the lions' curse. So, surprisingly, that fight led to them starting down the right path to finding the cure.
Riku ran a hand through his hair, feeling gross. The world they were on before was disgusting, at least to him. It was because of the Darkness and the people that lurked around there. They got into fights and had to try to remain calm so they didn't look suspicious, but it was difficult, especially for Riku. He lived with the Darkness, because you can't have the Light without it. Of course, that didn't mean he didn't hate it.

Sora saw Jeremy's house up ahead, and he was glad he and Riku landed just outside the city so they wouldn't have to walk too far. He went up to the Keyblader's house and was let in alongside Riku, and he told Jeremy that they had the potion they needed before he handed over the clothes they borrowed and started back to the bedroom where his friends were waiting. It was time to remove this curse from Namine.
Kairi sat in a chair beside the bed, her legs crossed and one elbow resting on the top leg, one hand holding her chin. She, Roxas, and Namine had been waiting for two days, which was longer than she originally thought this was going to take. Please make it back safe, she thought, closing her eyes. She couldn't lose her fiance and best friend, or her sister. They would be back soon, wouldn't they?

Sora knocked softly on the bedroom door before he opened it up, his eyes finding the three who were in the bedroom. He reached into the pocket of his pants and pulled out a vial once he was about two steps in, holding it up for Roxas and Kairi to see. They finally had the cure. Namine was going to stop suffering now, and all of them could go home...This crisis was nearly over.

Roxas looked up from Namine's face at the knock, still sitting with her on the bed. When he saw the vial, his eyes widened. "You got it?" he said, disbelief in his voice. They really got the cure!? That was great!

Kairi sat upright, her lips spreading into a small smile as she looked at Sora and Riku just inside the room. They did it...

Sora smiled, nodding as he started over towards Roxas. Namine was asleep, but he was sure that Roxas would wake her up so that she could take the medicine and get better. "Yeah, we got it," he confirmed, holding the green liquid in his hand carefully. No way was he going to be an idiot and drop it now, after all the work that he and Riku went through to get it. He never was that much of a klutz anyway.
Roxas's lips spread into a wide smile, the boy looking down at the girl in his arms as Sora came over. "Nam. Hey," he called softly, lifting a hand to brush her hair out of her face. She needed to wake up and take her medicine, that way she would be better and they could go home.

"Mm?" Namine murmured in her sleep, Roxas's fingers feeling cool compared to her skin. She didn't know why Roxas would be waking her, or if that was really the case at all. Maybe he was just checking to see if she was awake or not. Well, now she was, since she had been a light sleeper. The sickness didn't let her get comfortable enough to sleep too deeply.
Roxas's smile softened some, both because of how cute Namine was and because of the truth behind his following words. "Your medicine's here," he told her gently. It felt great to say that, because that meant she could take it and feel better. That was all he wanted for her.

Namine opened her eyes at the words, surprised to hear them. "What?" she asked softly, though her gaze went to Sora since he was standing so close to the bed. She looked up and saw his soft smile, but she also saw the vial that he was holding out for her to take. The brunet nodded to her in encouragement and she took her hand away from Roxas's stomach, her hand grasping the vial with enough strength that it wouldn't fall right out of her grasp. She smiled weakly to Sora when she noticed he already took the cap off for her, and she took her head away from Roxas's shoulder a little as she brought the vial to her lips and drank the green liquid.
Kairi felt her soft smile remain as she watched Namine take her medicine. She would be better in a little while, and they could finally leave this realm and never come back. She and Namine could finally go home, where they both would live, on Destiny Islands and in their own apartment. It would be great.

Namine finished the liquid and then handed the vial back to Sora, a sigh leaving her lips as she leaned her head on Roxas's shoulder again. She shut her eyes, setting a hand on his chest. "That's better," she whispered in relief. The dull pain in her back vanished altogether, and somehow, she could feel the curse starting to fade too. The medicine was working quickly, so the fever would probably be completely gone within a few minutes.
Roxas wrapped his other arm completely around Namine then, his eyes resting on her before he looked up at Sora and Riku. "Thanks, guys," he said with a small nod. He appreciated them going to get the potion. It must have been a little tough if it took them two days. But they did it, and for that, he was grateful.

"Yeah, sure thing," Sora said with a nod and a small smile. He knew that Roxas would do the same if he and Kairi were ever in a position like that. All of them were best friends, and they would always do whatever it took to help each other. Besides that, it wasn't possible for Sora to see a person suffering and not help them; it wasn't who he was.
Riku nodded as well, leaning against the wall a few feet away. He was just glad Namine was better. She was his best friend, after all. He couldn't stand seeing her so sick. The last time she was ill, it hadn't ended well. He was glad that kind of result wasn't the same here.

Namine opened her eyes and looked at her friends in the room, seeing how they all looked relieved. "I can be ready to go in a few minutes, I think," she said softly, taking her head off Roxas's shoulder. She was sure that all of her friends wanted to get back to their home, because that was definitely what she wanted to do.

Sora nodded slightly in recognition. "I'm gonna go tell the others, then," he said with a small nod. And he would thank them for helping them and Namine while he was at it. He was sure some of his other friends would want to do the same, so they could come with him if they wished. And it was probably a good idea to give Namine a few minutes alone to get ready anyway.

Riku pushed himself away from the wall, planning to go with Sora. And clearly so was Kairi, since she got up from her seat. He imagined Roxas would give Namine a minute to get cleaned up and such, so he wouldn't be surprised if he came out soon as well. The boy turned, stepping out into the hall to get a head start. Now, they could go home.
