Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Light closed her eyes when Riku came close and sniffed her, and this time, she didn't mind him being close. She felt a little more clarity enter her mind when Riku was close, just because they shared a special bond. The mark on her forehead, though, didn't change. It was still faded compared to what Riku saw last.
Riku noticed that Lightning changed apart from personality when he was close enough, noticing that her mark was fading. He whined a little at the sight and licked the top of her head, hating that this was happening. She was supposed to be safe and happy...with him.

Lightning whined when Riku licked her head, thunder also rumbling outside and lightning flashing in the sky. It flashes bright, then fades away. Story of my life. Whatever she did in her life, she always came off strong and then diminished in strength. Why was it so hard for her to always be strong? She opened her gray eyes and looked up at Riku in silence, seeing he was still very close.
Riku caught Lightning's look, and upon seeing the difference in her eyes, he whined again and licked her face. "Let's go home," he said softly. She needed to get away from this place, and he wanted to hold her in his arms and comfort her the right way.

Light looked past Riku to look outside the cave, seeing the high wind, the pouring rain, and the lightning in the sky. "You sure that's such a good idea?" she asked softly. She didn't see how traveling in these conditions was wise, especially when they had shelter here. It was probably best to camp out here and head for home when the storm was done.
Riku looked behind him, seeing that Lightning had a point. "Fine," he said, his eyes finding her again. "But I'm staying with you." He wasn't about to leave her side; he'd done enough of that the past two days.

"At least lead your friends to shelter since I can't handle Kairi being near," Lightning said, lifting her gaze to Riku's face again. "There's another cave that's two minutes away at a run." She hadn't stayed there just because this one was smaller, and she could see the whole cave to know that there weren't any enemies lurking in here. But the other cave would be safe for a group who could work together to take down any enemy they faced.
Riku nodded a little, agreeing. "I'll be back," he said softly, his eyes lingering on Lightning's before he turned and started away from her at a run. He left the cave and entered the downpour, starting back toward the portal. He could only guess his friends were back that way.

Light waited for a few minutes, licking her wounded leg while Riku was gone. She had to get her head straight, because she was sure that tomorrow they would all be traveling as a group. She had to regain some restraint and be able to handle herself with Kairi around. And Namine, too, since she must have been back with the group. Both of their Lights would prove to be difficult to cope with.
It took a few minutes for Riku to find his friends and guide them toward the cave Lightning talked about, but eventually he made it back. He walked through the mouth of the cave and shook his fur, droplets of water falling from the action as he started over toward the girl he loved. He would stay with her and rest for a while, but tomorrow...they would have to find a way for her to be sane around Kairi. If not, his best friend would have to travel ahead of Light, that way there weren't any encounters.

Lightning stopped mid-lick when she heard Riku come back into the cave, her head lifting to look at him. He stood out to her, since his fur was such a light color. But he stood out to her in general, just because he was so unique and different from every other guy she ever met. And she loved that about him.
Even from his spot farther away, Riku could see that Lightning had been messing with a wound. Because of that, he summoned his Keyblade to his mouth and cast Cure, focused on the leg she was treating. He didn't want her hurting anymore, and he would make sure she wasn't, even if it was the last thing he did.

Light glanced down at her leg when she saw a brief green glow, showing that the wound was healed. "Riku," she whined, though she didn't know why she reacted the way she did. Maybe it wasn't a reaction at all, but a plea. Come closer. I feel more like myself when you're here with me.
Riku heard that whine, and because of the plea he thought he recognized behind it, he dismissed his Keyblade and walked quickly over to Lightning. He stopped in front of her and lowered his head, nuzzling the side of his face against Light's. It's okay...

Lightning yapped softly in gratitude, her eyes shutting as her head leaned into Riku's nuzzle. If she was a softer person, she probably would have cried. She was losing herself, just like she was losing everything back on Cocoon. She already lost her sister to Snow, Hope had his own life, and her life in the Corps was torn away from her. All that she really had left was Riku. She wished she had Ven too, but it felt like he was closer to Aqua and Terra than he was to her. She could hardly blame him, though, since she missed most of his life. Some big sister I am.
Riku gave Lightning a small kiss while he was so close, but then he lowered himself to the ground, curling up next to her as he faced her. He wasn't about to leave her side again; he was staying with her the whole way.

Lightning was facing Riku when he curled up by her, and she couldn't help but scoot closer to him. She lifted her head away from the ground and yawned, a soft yap leaving her at the height of the yawn. She shook her wet head faintly and leaned the side of her head against Riku's side, her eyes shutting. She was tired in every aspect of the word.
Riku's aqua eyes remained on Lightning as she rested, and after a minute he looked out to the mouth of the cave, seeing the rain fall. He would stay up for a little while she got some sleep, just to make sure they were safe. He didn't want her getting hurt.

Sora finished making the fire in their cave, having found some firewood hidden inside it and kept dry from the rain. He summoned his Keyblade away and took a few steps back from the fire, sighing at its warmth and brightness. Now he could see for sure that they had this cave to themselves. They would all be safe for the night now, protected from the storm and from enemies. That was good.
Kairi was already lying down by the time the fire was lit, though she took in its warmth immediately. It felt nice, and she was sure that with its added heat they would all dry off quickly. She lifted her violet-blue eyes to her fiance, recognizing him once again as a natural leader and strong warrior, even in this form. She loved him even more because of that. He's going to keep me safe...for the rest of my life.

Sora glanced at the back of the cave one more time, and upon seeing no enemies, he walked over to Kairi. He laid down beside her and started kissing her face, much like she had done to him when they were here for their first time. He had been too tired to return the affection, but tonight, he was going to make up for that. He would give Kairi all the affection that he could.
Kairi released a small hum, one that was out of enjoyment. She loved this kind of affection from the young man she loved, and she would get it for the rest of her life. Of course, it would be returned. She couldn't neglect Sora. He was too important to her to forget.

Sora yapped happily, scooting closer to Kairi and licking her muzzle. His actions seemed to say it all, so he didn't bother verbalizing his love for Kairi. He would always make it clear, with or without words. He learned a long time ago that actions spoke more loudly than words, and that applied to love as well.
Kairi closed her eyes at the affection, knowing she would have returned it if she could. Sora had control of the situation for now, so she couldn't exactly do that without interrupting, and she didn't want to. Why would she? It was cute, especially when he was so adorable.

Sora turned his head and nuzzled it against Kairi, his tail wagging as he did so. He felt it wag against Kairi's body, but he hardly cared. For the first time in a while, he was showing her the affection she deserved. Before this, he had been away from her to get the cure for Namine. He was so glad she didn't go with; she wouldn't have survived, even under his protection.
