Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku's hand was the first human touch Lightning ever felt as a wolf, and she wouldn't have had it any other way. But she didn't want it this way either, because she was supposed to be a human right now! She yapped weakly, feeling everyone's gaze on her. She was definitely herself, but she was also definitely a wolf. This was very, very bad...
"Shh," Riku shushed Lightning softly, shaking his head a little as he ran his hand over her soft fur. This isn't happening...he thought, upset that something like this could possibly be real. But it was, and for that, they had to figure out a way to get her back. "...We're gonna fix this, okay? Don't worry." He would take care of her until then. He would always take care of her.

Light whined, feeling Riku running his hand over her fur. Riku... She didn't know what to say, but then she realized that she couldn't say anything at all to him. She could only get through general emotions through the look in her eye and the noises wolves were susceptible to making. Wolves made a lot more sounds of pain and sorrow than humans would, so she had that going against her. She didn't want to appear to be weak, even if she really didn't know what to do or how to act right now.
Riku let his hand sit atop Light's head for a second before he lowered it, tearing his eyes away from her. "Any ideas?" he asked, looking at all of his friends. There had to be something they could do, right? Lightning couldn't be stuck like this forever; it couldn't be a curse.

"Yeah," Sora said with a nod. He almost always had an idea, and thankfully, today wasn't an exception to that. "If we take her to Donald, he can probably change her back. I mean, he changed me into a lion and a human again countless times, so he could probably do the same with Lightning..." That was the idea that he had, and it sounded like a solid one. He just hoped that it would work.
Riku nodded, his eyes resting on Sora now. He wasn't sure how he would get Lightning to Disney Castle, or if it was even safe on his glider, but he would figure out a way. He wasn't about to leave her like this, no matter how cute she was in this form. "Let's go."

Sora nodded in agreement, looking over his shoulder. "The train's here," he said, stating the obvious. "Let's ride it back to Twilight Town. From there, I can fly back to Radiant Garden and come back with the Gummi ship." He couldn't imagine Lightning riding on a glider with any of them; it would have been extremely dangerous and uncomfortable.
Riku nodded again, and he turned his attention back to the woman he loved. He held his arms open for her, meaning to explain that he would carry her. She was a wolf and could easily walk, but that didn't mean he wanted her to. That would be too much of a similarity between her and Jasmine. He didn't want that at all.

Light glanced away from the train to see Sora, Namine, and the others start towards it, but she saw Riku lingering with her. She shifted her pale blue eyes back to him and saw that he had his arms open, and though she understood what he wanted, she didn't understand how he planned on carrying her. She rose to her feet and looked at him, her expression curious. How are you going to do this?
Riku gave Lightning a look, knowing that she was doubting him in one way or another. Since she was facing him, he rose to his feet and stepped over to the side, tucking his arms underneath her back feet and her front legs. He lifted her easily to his chest, his eyes finding her. "I still carry Jazz," he pointed out. "I know how to do this." Jasmine got lazy on him sometimes, and this was how he had to handle it.

Lightning whined in recognition, though her ears were pressed down when she realized she was being carried the same way as Riku's pet. Regardless, her head was facing in Riku's direction, so she brought her head closer to his and let the top of her head rest against the bottom of his jaw. If she wasn't so worried about staying in this state, she probably would have smiled at Riku's humorous reaction to her doubt. You always have to prove me wrong, don't you?
Riku couldn't help but smile slightly, the boy holding Lightning securely as he started toward the train. The door was left open for him, and he stepped inside to go sit down. He caught Kairi's gaze on him, and he knew she must have thought this was somehow cute. It was alright, though; he would gladly do this for the woman he loved any day.

Lightning felt a few gazes on her, and she fought the urge to growl. She didn't like this attention on herself, especially not when she was being carried like a normal animal would. She knew she was being held this way because Riku wanted her close, but she felt like at least some of the group had pity on her. She hated pity.
Riku sat down, making sure to be careful since Lightning was in his arms. It would take a little while to get back to Twilight Town, so he loosened his hold on her so she could get comfortable. The train started moving, taking them back the way they came a few days ago.

Light got out of Riku's arms when she had the chance to, sitting up in his lap an uncomfortable position for her. She navigated her steps carefully on the moving train and laid down across the bench next to Riku, her front legs going over one of his legs. She rested her head between her legs and on his, a sigh leaving her. Let's hope that duck can get me back to normal. She met Sora's quirky friend before, when she took Kairi to Disney Castle for protection from Darren. But the duck didn't know her name, or her connection to the group. But as long as Sora said to cure her, he probably would. That was what she hoped, anyway.
Riku lifted his hand, running it over Lightning's head and down her back. Her fur was soft, just like she was at heart. She had a hard exterior, but she was gentle on the inside. He'd seen that side plenty of times, and he loved it. He loved her, and he would help get her out of this mess.

Light whined at Riku's gentle touch, her eyes shutting as he petted her. She previously thought this would have been degrading, but...she actually liked it. She didn't want everyone thinking she had gone soft on them, but Riku's simple, natural reaction of showing affection to her even when she was in such a state was touching.
Kairi sat in silence for the rest of the ride, sitting near Sora as he naturally stood on the train. She watched the scenery out the windows opposite her, behind Roxas and Namine. She could tell when they entered Twilight Town, a brief flash happening outside. Not too long afterward, they pulled into the train station, the doors opening. She pushed herself up, glancing at the others. Time to go.

Sora stopped leaning against the wall, standing upright and looking to all his friends. "I'll meet you guys out front with the ship," he said with a nod, waving faintly before he turned and hurried out of the train. He was sure all of them wanted to get this taken care of right away, especially Lightning. She surely didn't want to remain a wolf for very long in this realm.
Riku saw everyone leaving the train, and he ran his thumb over the top of Lightning's head. He looked down at her, wonder in his eyes. "You wanna walk?" he asked softly. If she would rather walk instead of being carried, he didn't mind. Either way was fine with him.

Light barked in confirmation, lifting her head out of Riku's lap and standing up on the bench. She did want to walk, not that they would be walking too far. She jumped off the bench and started out the door after the others, her pace casual since there wasn't a big rush. And she wouldn't have minded Riku catching up and staying close.
Riku smiled to himself, pushing himself up from his seat and exiting the train. Light...always the proud one, he thought with a small shake of his head. He knew that she probably thought being carried made her seem helpless, but in all honesty, he just wanted to hold her back there. It was alright if she wanted to walk now, since he would be right next to her.

Light saw the others quite a few yards ahead of her at the doors, Namine turning around and opening it for her. She hardly noticed that, though, when she heard a few sharp gasps. She turned her head to the side and saw a few people gathered by the ticket booth, all of them looking at her with wide eyes. The children were standing behind the adult protectively, and the sight made Light whimper as her tail went between her legs and her ears went down. They're scared of me.
Riku kept walking, though his eyes did notice how Lightning reacted to the scared children. He followed her out, putting his hand on the door to hold it open for himself so Namine could catch up with Roxas. Light would never hurt children, he thought. But of course, nobody here knew who she really was.

Namine watched Lightning come outside before she went over to where Roxas was, sitting down on the stair he was on. She kept her eyes off Light since she probably didn't like being stared at, though she was definitely thinking about her friend. Poor Lightning. She hadn't asked for any of this.
