Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Donald caught Daisy's disapproved look and he took his hands away from her shoulders. "I'm sorry!" he said, whining a little. He thought it was a joke!

Riku crossed his arms and shook his head, deciding to cut Donald some slack. "Forget it. Lightning will apologize when you change her back," he said, giving Lightning a look. This was humorous, and though Donald was being a chicken, she needed to cool off a bit. He never did well with threats.

Lightning looked up at Riku when he spoke for her sake, and a low growl left her lips in disagreement. "Why should I apologize? He's the one who's been a coward and a jerk throughout this whole thing." Riku couldn't hear her, but Donald and Daisy could, since they too were animals. She hardly cared, though; she had a right to be angry.

Donald frowned, stepping forward and glaring at Lightning. "You threatened to eat me!" he cried. "My reaction was reasonable." He either attacked her with magic or acted like a coward, considering he could have Riku on his bad side if he attacked, he decided on the latter. "Do you want help or what?"

Roxas scratched his cheek, wondering when this squabble was going to finish. Donald was just avoiding to help out Lightning, and now he was jumping right to it? He confuses me sometimes. I don't know how Sora dealt with it.

"Fine," Lightning snapped, looking back at Donald through narrowed, angered eyes. She hated that she needed him, because she didn't trust him. "Do me one favor though. Ask Sora for me if he's sure you're skilled enough to do this." He seemed like a coward alright, and it was possible he acted that way to avoid casting a spell that wouldn't work. Maybe he wasn't too skilled at all and he was trying to get out of work. That was the way she interpreted it to be, anyway.
Donald crossed his arms, rolling his eyes before he looked to Sora. "She'd like to know if I'm really capable of doing this," he said with a bit of attitude. "Go ahead and tell her, Sora." He was perfectly capable of performing such a spell. He did it multiple times in the past.

Sora smiled weakly, hearing Lightning bark angrily at Donald's attitude. He knelt down by her and put a hand on her back, feeling how tense she was. "He's good at this, seriously. He's done it to me more times than I can count and he's never screwed up. And if he messes up, you can take your anger out on me and then he'll try again, okay?" He took his hand away from her back and stood up, seeing her dip her head a little in agreement. If Donald messed up, it would be on Sora's head.

Donald walked over and picked up his staff, grumbling about how he "wasn't skilled enough to do this" under his breath. He straightened his hat again and looked to the group. "Stand back," he quacked. Lightning would need to have some room during the transformation.

Riku lowered his arms to his sides and stepped back with a few of his friends. Finally, he thought. It was about time this squabble came to an end.

Sora backed away from Lightning, seeing his other friends do the same. None of them wanted to go against Donald, since he obviously did have a temper behind his cowardice. But he also had power and skill, which Sora just testified to. Lightning would be just fine now.
Donald called to the familiar spell, lifting his staff into the air. A loud quack left him as he cast it, a bright light surrounding the wolf before him before it grew brighter. He saw a few people cover their eyes before he did the same, the transformation taking place.

Light squeezed her eyes shut when the transformation took place, not sure what to expect. But in one second, she changed from being a wolf to being a human again. The young woman knelt on one knee, one of her arms sitting on her leg that had a foot on the ground as the light faded away. She opened her eyes as the light went away and she saw the duck in front of her, the spell complete. You couldn't have done that ten minutes ago?

Riku opened his eyes once the light faded, seeing his beloved in true form in front of him. She was back, and a smile appeared on his face at the sight of her. Thank goodness.

Donald crossed his arms over his chest, tapping one foot as he held his staff in one of his hands. Perfectly capable, he thought to himself, his eyes resting on the person he now recognized. She'd come here once with Kairi, but he never got her name. "Hmph."

Lightning furrowed her eyebrows slightly at Donald's expression, and in order to keep the peace, she didn't bother trying to irritate him. "Thanks." She set a hand on her leg and pushed herself up to her feet, standing upright without swaying. She was a human again, and as much as she didn't want to admit it, she was indebted to the duck.
"You're welcome," Donald said with a small nod, a smug smile on his beak. He knew he could do it, and now Lightning did too. The spell was complete, so now she couldn't threaten to eat him anymore.

Light felt the urge to slug the duck who was so rude to her and who was so smug now, but she couldn't do that after he just took away her curse. She took a few small steps back and stood next to Riku while Sora thanked his friend on Lightning's behalf, seeing that she probably wasn't going to do it herself. She stopped next to Riku and lifted a hand to his arm, glad to be able to do that again. She was in her own body again, finally.

Riku smiled at his beloved, glad to see her near his height again. He let his eyes rest on her for a moment before he tore his gaze from hers, looking to the duck. "Thanks, Donald," he said with a small nod, not caring if Sora just thanked him. He wanted to do it too.

Donald nodded, though he peered up at the couple before him. He tilted his head, taking them in. "...She suits you," he said, meaning it as a compliment and not an insult. They had personalities that were nearly the same, both having that hard exterior. He knew Riku had a soft side, and he was sure Lightning did too.

Riku's small smile turned up on one side into a smirk. "Trust me," he said, nodding. "I know." They were good together, or so he liked to believe. He was sure his friends would agree.

Lightning had arched a brow at Donald's comment, not sure what to make of it at first. But Riku took it as a compliment, so she supposed that she would too. She almost reconsidered giving Donald an apology for threatening to eat him, but she didn't end up swaying in the end. She was too proud to say sorry.
Kairi linked her hands behind her back, looking from Lightning and Riku to her fiance. "So, should we head back home?" she asked, a small smile on her lips. One of the reasons she was smiling was because all of this chaos was over and done with, but the main reason was because she meant what she said. She was going home, to Destiny Islands. They were all going to be together again.

Sora looked over to Kairi, nodding and smiling. "Yup, straight to Destiny Islands," he said softly, glad they were going to their real home. Well, the real home of everyone but Lightning, since she lived in Cocoon. He turned his head and looked back down at the duck, lifting a hand and waving. "Thanks again, Donald. Stay out of trouble while I'm gone." He gave the duck a look, arching a brow at him.
Donald rolled his eyes, though he did end up smiling. "Don't be a stranger, Sora," he said, his natural lisp being heard as he spoke, as usual. He hardly saw Sora anymore, but that was alright; he was busy. Donald and Goofy understood.
  • Author
"You got it," Sora said with a small nod. "Say 'hey' to Goofy for me." He lifted a hand and waved, a few of his other friends having already waved their goodbyes and started towards the hangar to give Sora some privacy. But he wasn't going to make it a long goodbye anyway; he hated those. And it was never goodbye, it was more of a "see-you-later".
Kairi smiled softly when Donald said he would, and she nodded to him and Daisy when they looked in her direction. Upon receiving smiles, she turned and started for the gummi hangar. It was time to go home and start the newest chapter of her life.

Namine walked next to Roxas towards the ship, Riku and Lightning behind them. She was so glad to see that Lightning was back to her true self, at least physically. She wasn't sure how she was feeling after her experiences in the Twilight Realm, but it seemed like their biggest crisis was solved now. All of them could finally be happy, and hopefully together. It was up to Lightning if they would be a complete group now.

Destiny Islands

Riku had his back against the Paopu tree, his arms crossed over his chest as he watched the sun start to go down. Sora was with Kairi still, even after they all helped her unpack her things. He didn't blame him, since he was still with Lightning as well. She was cute as a wolf, but beautiful as a human being. His human being, his Light, his Claire. And he hoped it would always be that way.

  • Author
Claire sat on the Paopu tree next to where Riku was standing, her eyes on the sunset behind her pink bangs. She didn't bother wiping them away, glad that they were there to block her vision again. She was human...Lightning. She had thought before in the Twilight Realm that she was ready to come back to her human life, and even if that took longer than expected, she was still ready. As long as she had Riku by her side, she was ready for anything.
