Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Maybe?" Light repeated with an arched brow, smirking faintly. "What, is that some way for you to avoid saying I'm right about something?" She had just thought earlier that she had to keep his ego in check, so maybe he was trying to do the same thing with her. She really wasn't that proud, was she? Or...maybe she was.
"Of course not," Riku said softly, squeezing Lightning's side as he shook his head. "I just..." He lowered his gaze from Lightning's, his eyes resting on her jacket. How did he say it? He had a hard time expressing his feelings sometimes, since he hardly expressed them in the first place.

Light tilted her head faintly, lifting her hand and briefly ruffling Riku's hair again. You don't have to say anything if you don't want to. She was just kidding around with him and trying to get the focus off her. She was confident in her abilities as a fighter and a soldier, but hearing she was a good friend...a good girlfriend...It was still pretty new to her, despite how long she had been in the relationship with Riku.
Riku closed his eyes at the gesture, though he opened them a second later, his silver bangs in his eyes slightly as he looked up at the woman he loved. He could tell by the gentle look in her eyes that he didn't have to say anything, but...he wanted to. "I'm...grateful for you," he started softly. "I never asked for you, and I never expected someone like you to walk into my life. But, you did...and I'm thankful for that." He smiled a little, lowering his eyes to her jacket again when he became a little shy. "I guess...I needed someone to love, and someone to love me too." And now he had her.

Light felt herself start blushing at Riku's comments, her gaze going to his shoulder instead of his eyes. It hardly mattered, though, since he wasn't looking up at her eyes. "Riku..." she said quietly, that being the only response she could think of to what he just said. He was correct in saying he had somebody who loved him, because that was exactly what Lightning did. She loved him more than she ever thought she could love. He brought out the best in her.
"It's okay," Riku said with another small shake of his head, keeping his eyes on one of the buckles on Light's jacket still. "You don't have to say anything." He just wanted her to know how grateful he was for her. She was a blessing to him if there ever was one.

Light smiled weakly, a little bit of room between her and Riku. She slid off the tree and stood right in front of him, her arms wrapping around his lower back and her head finding his shoulder. She was saying something, even if it wasn't verbal. She was saying that she loved him.
Riku looked at Lightning in confusion for a moment, though he let his arms wrap around her a second later. He smiled to himself, leaning his cheek against the top of her head. He loved her, he really did. He couldn't really imagine his life without her.

Lightning gaze past Riku to the sunset, her expression turning more somber as she held him. I won't ever hurt you, will I? What Zant said...It lingered in her mind. He said that a person's lust for the Keyblade would change them, so that all they cared about was getting the weapon for themselves. She wanted to believe he was just a man full of Darkness and hatred for her group, but she had to take any threat towards Riku seriously. She loved him too much not to.
Riku stared down at the ground behind Lightning, knowing that this moment would have to come to an end. Every moment they had together would come to an end until they were united as one, together until the end. He would have to take her home soon, though he might ask if he could stay. He didn't exactly want to be apart from her, ever.

Light started rubbing Riku's back, her eyes down on the ground as the sky started getting darker. She wouldn't let him know that she was thinking about this. She would hope that he forgot what Zant said, and she would do research on her own to figure out if he was speaking the truth or not. After starting to lose herself in the Twilight Realm, she was starting to realize just how easily she could start losing herself again without even knowing it. It was...scary.
Riku felt the gesture, and he squeezed Lightning gently. "I have to take you home soon," he said softly, his voice low as he continued to hold her. He didn't want to, but it needed to be done. Being worlds apart was hard, but they made it work so far. They could do it for a little while longer.

Lightning hummed softly, nodding as she kept up her gesture. She said earlier she was ready to face whatever was next for her, so she supposed it was best to go home and face that life. Perhaps a call from the Corps awaited her, since she hadn't been home in a long time to check her phone messages. Did she want a call from them? She wasn't sure. If it was bad news...She didn't know how to take that.
"Anything you want to do before then?" Riku asked, glancing down at Lightning as his cheek continued to rest against the top of her head. He wanted to do anything he could for her while they were still together, at least physically.

"Not that I can think of," Claire responded softly, faintly shaking her head. She was too tired to do anything physical, since all of them had been running around a lot the past few days without any break. It felt like forever ago that this conflict started, with them being sucked into Zant's portal. But that was always how it worked; short periods of great conflict and then small gaps with peace. That was how life worked for her.
"Mm," Riku hummed pulling his head back so he could look down at Light more properly. "I'll take you back now, then." Of course, he would keep her company until she went to bed. That was how it usually worked.

"You know, I could probably take myself," Light stated softly, turning her head and looking up to Riku's eyes. She had enough energy to summon Odin and go home if Riku wanted to stay here for the night. She figured he would probably reject her offer, though, and come with her anyway. And that was perfectly alright with her, because she didn't want to say goodbye yet.
Riku shook his head, a small smile appearing on his face. "Honestly, I'd rather be your escort," he said softly. He didn't want to be separated from her just yet, anyway.

Light smiled softly, starting to rub Riku's back again after she stopped for a brief moment. "I figured you'd say that," she stated quietly. It did take a lot of strength for Odin to travel between the worlds; it was much easier for Riku to summon a glider and fly both of them to Cocoon. There was Darkness in the pathways between worlds, but after all of her traveling, Lightning built up an immunity to it.
"Then you already agree, don't you?" Riku asked, lifting an eyebrow as he looked down at the woman he loved. He would take her back without any rejection, just like it always was. And he probably wouldn't leave until tomorrow. That happened a lot as well.

"What if I don't?" Lightning asked with an arched brow, though she was only curious about what Riku's response would be to that. Of course she didn't mind him taking her home, or being with her longer. She never wanted to be separated from him, especially not when she had the chance to remain by his side or in his arms.
"Well, then you have no choice," Riku said with a small smile. "I'm taking you, no matter what you say." He wanted to be with her for just a little longer, if that was possible.

"Oh yeah?" Lightning asked with an arched brow, taking one of her hands away from Riku's back and setting it on his shoulder in front of her. "And how are you going to force me into doing something I don't want?" She was just as stubborn as he was, and if she was truly set against this, she wouldn't have gotten on Riku's glider with him. How would he have forced her to give in to him then?
Riku gave Lightning a look. "You underestimate me," he said softly. He waited a moment before he bent down, grabbing Lightning around the waist and putting her over his shoulder. He held her by her legs, waiting for her response. It would most likely be amusing...or painful, since she knew how to get out of a lot of situations with physical force.

Lightning's eyes widened faintly, but she didn't yelp even if she was surprised. She set her hands on Riku's back and pushed herself up a little, looking at what she could see of his face. "Seriously?" she asked, though there was some amusement in her tone. This was his solution?
