Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Riku smiled to himself, nodding. "Yup. I have a free hand, you know," he pointed out. "I can easily summon my glider and take you with me." He doubted that she would really refuse, but for the fun of the game, she would most likely do it to humor him.

Light looked down and saw that free hand dangling by Riku's side, and she took one hand off Riku's back and reached down for it. She grabbed onto that hand and twisted it ever so slightly so it was behind Riku's back, the warrior successfully keeping it pinned. "What free hand?" she asked lowly, a smirk on her face. You got cocky too soon, Riku.
"Hm," Riku thought, smirking a little now as he glanced over his shoulder at the woman he loved. "Clever." Now she would just have to stay here with him, and that was perfectly alright. He would still be with her, either way.

"So, what's your next plan?" Light asked softly, keeping her grip on Riku's hand. He couldn't summon his glider with that one, and he couldn't use his other hand without dropping her. He wouldn't do that... Or would he? When it came to proving a point, Riku would do almost anything to be right.
Riku shrugged, doing it successfully even though Lightning was on his back. "I guess we'll just have to camp out here tonight," he said with the same smirk. Again, he would be with her. What difference did it make to him where they were?

"That's some back up plan," Light said sarcastically, rolling her eyes. "What, are you going to hold me captive?" She didn't see any way that was possible, since she was so stubborn and feisty. If she didn't get her way, she would fight to change that so that she came out on the winning side of the deal. But as long as she was with Riku, she was a winner.
"Maybe," Riku said, playing along. He wouldn't exactly do that, since that was a little desperate. And Riku wasn't desperate....not usually. With Lightning, it all depended. He remembered being desperate for her to understand that she didn't have to make large sacrifices in the relationship a while ago, but that was the only occurrence he could really think of.

Light sighed, releasing Riku's hand. "You win this round," she said softly. "I'd rather go home and sleep in a cozy bed than be a captive here." So, he could take her home. Honestly, she wanted to get a quick shower before she went to sleep, since she felt pretty dirty.
Riku chuckled, starting to set Lightning down. "Wish granted," he said softly, taking his hands back. He would take her home so she could get some rest. She deserved it, after all the hard trials she went through lately.

Light stood in front of Riku, smiling weakly at him in recognition before she took a few steps out of the way and let him summon his glider. She was suddenly feeling more tired, but she wouldn't purposely fall asleep on the ride back. That was always a dangerous move, since enemies appeared in the lanes between the worlds.
Riku summoned his glider in silence, and once it appeared, he hopped onto it and looked to Lightning. It was time for her to go home. Once she was comfortable and in bed, he would fly back here to get his own night of rest.

Light arched a brow at Riku, seeing how he was forgetting about something. "No armor?" she asked, seeing he hadn't summoned it. From what she remembered, he always wore his armor when he was flying between the worlds. So, why was this time any different?
Riku smiled at the reminder, lifting one hand and touching the armguard. His armor appeared in a second, and behind his mask he looked at Lightning. "Ready?" he asked, his hands on the handlebars. He hardly ever forgot his armor, so he guessed he was either too distracted by Lightning or too tired to remember.
  • Author
"Yeah, ready," Light said with a small nod. She took a few steps forward and hopped onto Riku's bike like she always did, her arms wrapping around his waist. Leaning into his armor wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but safety always came before comfort.
Riku lifted his glider off the ground and summoned a portal straight ahead. He soared into it with Lightning, heading for Cocoon. He didn't want to say goodnight, but it had to be done. Until their day came (and he hoped it did), this was the way it had to be.

It didn't take long for Light and Riku to make it back to her house, and when they were there, she hopped in the shower to quickly get washed off. Riku didn't want to say goodbye right away, obviously, so she was hoping that maybe he could stay the night with her. The previous night, they had both been wolves, and they cuddled with each other as they fell asleep. She was hoping for a repeat of that, just without the wolves part.
Riku was in Lightning's room, sitting on her bed. He missed this room, even if it had only been a week since he was here last. It felt like a lot longer than that, but the Realm of Darkness did always mess with a person's head. He looked around at the decorations in Lightning's room, and though there weren't much, he did spot a few photos on the endtable, dresser, and walls. He smiled softly at one of Light and Serah, the boy keeping his position as he thought about how content Lightning seemed in the picture. That must have been a happy time for her, he thought, his elbows on his knees and his hands clasped as he gazed at the picture on the table.

Light came out of the bathroom in sweats and a tank-top, the young woman sure that Riku was used to seeing her like this by now. There was no point dressing up, especially since she was planning on going to bed soon. She noticed Riku looking at one of the few pictures she had in her room, that one having her and Serah in it. She wasn't in too many pictures, since she really wasn't a photo person. The day of Serah's wedding was an exception, especially since Serah had the photographer take a lot of pictures of her and Riku. That was actually...enjoyable.
Riku heard the door open, and he glanced in the direction of the bathroom, seeing the woman he loved exit in new clothes. "What was the occasion?" he asked, looking back to the picture again. It wasn't recently, so it must have been a while back that the picture was taken. She was happy, nonetheless, so he guessed it didn't matter.

Light stepped closer to Riku, setting a hand on his shoulder as she examined the picture near him. "Serah's eighteenth birthday, I think," she said after a second. She didn't really remember it too much. Or, no, she actually did. She was supposed to spend the whole day with Serah, and she was excited for that (as the picture showed), but then she was called into work.
"Mm," Riku hummed with a small nod, looking at the two pink-haired ladies in the photograph. One of them was Snow's, but the other was his own. He lifted a hand to sit atop Lightning's on his shoulder. He always wanted to be with her, but he wasn't sure what Destiny had in mind.

Lightning kept her gaze on Riku, her thumb not restricted by his hand on top of hers. She started running it over his skin, her eyes shifting to follow that motion. She had missed him a lot when she was in the Twilight Realm. It reminded her of when she was captured a while back and losing her memory, and she clung to Riku and survived. The Twilight Realm wasn't nearly as bad as that event, but it was still similar to it.
Riku felt the movement against his skin, so he turned his head to look up at the woman he loved. "Time for bed?" he asked softly. If so, he should probably get going. He didn't want to keep Lightning up.
  • Author
"Only if you're staying the night," Lightning said softly, continuing her motion. She would go to bed if he was going to be with her, but if not, she would stay up with him until he was ready to go. It wasn't like she had to be awake at a certain time tomorrow, since she was still out of a job. She could sleep in as long as she wanted.
Riku smiled warmly at the suggestion, the young man squeezing the hand that was underneath his. "I like that idea," he said with a faint nod. He talked to his parents when they got home, so they knew he was probably out and about. He was turning nineteen soon, so he was allowed a little more freedom than he used to get.
