Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas shook his head, staring down at the ground as he approached the beach. The sound of the waves crashing against the shore was easily recognized, as well as the familiar feeling of the sand underneath his shoes. A dip in the ocean and then a shower, then Namine. He'd been looking forward to seeing her all day, and now he had the chance. Unless she was busy, of course.

Of course I'll need to borrow Ben's camera and lenses for the day, Namine thought, shifting her gaze to the ocean that lapped at her bare feet. But she had already spoken to Ben about the issue, and he didn't mind as long as she reimbursed him for the cost of developing the pictures. Some day, when Namine had the money, she would buy her own camera. First she had to get a job...She really had to start looking into that. There was probably plenty to do around the Islands.
Roxas lifted his eyes after a moment of walking toward the beach. He was already on it when he saw the girl he loved, the boy not too far from Namine. What was she doing on the beach? Regardless, he started over toward her, making sure to be quiet. When he was near her, he sneaked up behind her and put his hands over her eyes from behind. "...Guess who," he said into her ear, a small smile on his face.

Namine smiled in amusement, easily able to tell who was behind her. "No need to guess, you big goof," she teased, her heart skipping a beat at Roxas's presence. She wanted to tell him so badly what she was excited about, but she couldn't. If he slipped up and hinted at this to Kairi, then Sora's surprise was ruined. So she had to keep her excitement to herself for now.
Roxas chuckled a little, though he shook his head. "I don't remember my name being 'big goof'," he pointed out. "Try again." He was just teasing, since it was pretty obvious who he was. He could never truly surprise Namine in a way like this. He was too obvious.

Namine chuckled softly, shaking her head. "Roxas," she said, saying his name this time. Roxas was the person who was standing behind her. And she was glad that he was, because she had missed him a lot the past few days. She recalled what feelings she used to have for Ben, but now she only had those feelings for Roxas. And she had missed him and thought of him constantly whenever she was with Ben.
Roxas's smile softened as he took his hands back in silence, his eyes resting on the girl he loved. She was his girl, his Namine. That was a great thing to know, always. He hoped that after Sora and Kairi were married, the two of them would be next. Of course, that would be Namine's call; she had to say yes first.

Namine turned around and looked at Roxas, a small smile still on her lips. "Hey there," she said softly, leaning forward and giving him a quick peck on the lips before she returned to her previous position. Now that he was here, she was going to give him a proper greeting. She hadn't expected to see him until later in the day, but this was alright with her; she would never mind having extra time with Roxas.
Roxas's smile remained at the kiss, the boy nodding. "Hi," he greeted softly. "How was your day?" He hadn't seen her at all today, since he had to wake up early and hardly got a lunch break. This was the first time he'd seen her all day, though he was sure she was plenty occupied with Ben.

Namine smiled softly, setting her hands on Roxas's shoulders. "Good," she said with a small nod. "I just got done hanging out with Ben a little while ago." It was no secret that she was spending time with him, and she was sure Roxas trusted her not to fall for him again. She wasn't about to fall in love with anybody but him, so he had nothing to worry about; she had no attraction to Ben anymore. "How was your day?"
Roxas lifted his hands, wrapping his arms around Namine's waist because she was so close. "Tiring," he said, his smile fading a little. Work was tough, but he was getting paid. That was what kept him going every day.
  • Author
"I'd believe it," Namine said softly, nodding faintly as well. "You work hard." She saw him working once or twice, when she wasn't with Ben, and he put a lot of effort into the job. That wasn't surprising to her, though, since she knew that Roxas wasn't lazy. He wouldn't slack off or take shortcuts when he was doing something important like building a house.
Roxas nodded a little, not knowing how else to respond. Behind his thoughts about work, he was thinking about Ben. He still wasn't completely comfortable around the guy, considering their past together. Well, neither of them directly talked to each other, but Namine was their connection. He didn't like being so suspicious, but it was something he couldn't help.
  • Author
"Anything I can do to help you?" Namine asked with an arched brow, tilting her head a little bit. The only thing she could think of was helping him relax after work by maybe giving him a back massage, but she'd definitely be willing to do that. Whatever she could do to help, she wanted to do it, because she loved Roxas more than she could ever love anybody else.
Roxas couldn't help but smile a little, shaking his head. "I don't need anything specific," he admitted softly. He was starving, but he wouldn't ask Namine to cook for him. "Just keep me company for a while?" He was around guys all day, and all he wanted was to be with her. Was that too much to ask?

Namine smiled softly, nodding faintly. "That's an easy one," she assured him softly. She always loved spending time with him, so she was glad that he wanted to spend time with her before getting a shower. She didn't mind if he was sweaty; she missed him enough to put up with him not being his freshest.
Roxas ran one of his hands over Namine's lower back briefly at her response, his smile remaining for another few seconds before it faded away. He was glad to hear that, because even after all this time, he still felt a little threatened by Ben. He knew that he and Namine had a special connection through their art, even if he also realized in the back of his mind that it wouldn't go farther than that. But still...it wasn't something he could really help. It was just there.

Namine tilted her head faintly, trying to read Roxas's expression. His smiles weren't lingering for long whenever they came around. But that could have just been because he was tired. She would just believe that was the case until he said otherwise. Why did something always have to be wrong whenever somebody didn't smile? His tiredness really was a good excuse for his behavior...Right?
Roxas saw the way Namine was looking at him, which caused him to look away and sigh. "I'm sorry," he said softly, apologizing for his behavior. "I've just...got a lot on my mind." A lot involving Ben, at least. It wasn't a good thing to think about, because he did trust Namine. He just didn't trust Ben.
  • Author
Namine kept her gaze on Roxas even after he looked away, her gaze soft. "I can guess what it's about," she stated softly. She wasn't an idiot; she could tell that Roxas was worried about something concerning her. And the only thing she could think of would be that he was concerned with Ben. It was understandable, since she was spending a lot of time with him and Roxas didn't know why. She didn't blame him for being curious.
Roxas looked back at Namine to see the way she was gazing at him, and he bit his lip for a second. "...You know what happened last time," he told her softly. "Can you blame me?" He tilted his head a little, his blue eyes on hers. He didn't want that same thing happening again, even if it was less than likely.
  • Author
Namine smiled weakly, shaking her head faintly. She couldn't blame him, and she didn't. "Nothing's going on," she assured him softly. But she was sure that he wanted to hear more than that. Was it okay for her to tell him? She trusted him, she just...she knew how easy it was to slip up and say something in the heat of the moment. If he spilled this to Kairi by accident, then Sora's surprise would be ruined.
Roxas hummed softly, nodding a little bit as his eyes continued to rest on Namine. He trusted her, he really did. He just didn't want Ben getting any ideas, and he hoped he wasn't. If he was, he would have to talk to him. Namine was his, and it was going to stay that way.
  • Author
"Um..." Namine glanced around behind Roxas and down the beach, making sure that nobody was close enough to hear what she was going to tell him. "...I'll tell you why I'm spending so much time with him, but you can't tell anyone, okay?" she asked quietly, serious. She wanted this surprise to be perfect for her best friend, and for Sora. He was really going all out with making this engagement special for Kairi, and she loved it.
"Yeah," Roxas said with a small nod, though his eyebrows furrowed. What could possibly be going on between Namine and Ben that had to be sworn to secrecy? This something wouldn't be bad, would it? He certainly hoped not.
