Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas kept his hands on Namine's legs, which were wrapped around his waist as he started toward the ocean. His feet splashed through the water as a wave came closer, and he couldn't help but laugh. He ran a few more feet before he turned, diving into the water with his hold still on Namine.

Namine squealed briefly when she felt the cool water splash her, but she already knew the drill with this since it happened before. She squeezed her eyes shut and closed her mouth as the wave swallowed her and Roxas, soaking both of them completely.
Roxas was forced to release Namine when the wave hit them, the boy rising from the water only a few seconds later. He shook the water out of his spiky hair, running an arm over his eyes to get the water away. He couldn't help but laugh, already feeling better.

Namine stood up when the wave was gone and Roxas released her, the blonde scoffing softly and shaking her wet head. Roxas... She turned to look at him and gave him a look of scolding, though she could only hold that look for a second before chuckling softly. The water was cold, but he was too cute to be mad at for long.
Roxas only sent a cheesy smile Namine's way. "On the bright side," he started, "I feel better." He wasn't as sweaty or hot as he was before. The cool water helped with that.

Namine huffed, folding her arms over her dark purple tank top. "Great. Glad you're feeling better." Of course, she was obviously just messing with him. Since she lived on a beach like this, she always expected Roxas or one of her other guy friends to throw her in the ocean every once in a while. There was no point in being offended over something so natural.
Roxas waded through the water to stop right in front of Namine, his cheesy smile having softened into a fainter one. "Don't be like that," he told her gently. "It's all in good fun, as usual." Besides, he hadn't goofed off with her in a long time. He missed it.

"I know, goof," Namine said with a small smile. She was taking it in stride, though she would now have to take a shower as well to feel clean again. She never did get used to the salt in her hair like Kairi, Sora, and Riku did. But that was understandable, since they lived on the Islands for basically their whole lives and Namine didn't.
Roxas smiled a little more, unable to help it. A drop of water fell from one of his spikes, dripping onto his nose before finally falling into the ocean again. He was glad she was okay with this. Namine really was amazing.

"I figured you'd toss me into the ocean the first chance you got," Namine teased, her blonde bangs in her face as she smirked at Roxas. "It's been a while since you were able to do it." She had been living in Cocoon before everything with the Dark Realm, and Roxas had only been able to visit two or three times. And while there was a beach there, he couldn't really grab her and run into the ocean with her because he didn't have clothes to change into afterward.
"I know," Roxas said, lifting a hand. He gently brushed Namine's wet bangs away from her eyes. "I missed it." He missed everything about being with her while she was gone. He didn't blame Kairi for it, but simply Fate. It wasn't fair, but at least she was with him now. That was all he ever wanted.

Namine felt her smile soften, both at Roxas's gesture and at his words. She was the one who moved to Cocoon...But she did try settling things with the mayor so she could stay on the Islands. And when that didn't work out, she didn't have the money to buy her own house here. It was either Cocoon or Radiant Garden, and Cocoon was the one she went with. Either way, she was separated from Roxas.
"I'm glad you're with me again," Roxas said, his hand moving to cup Namine's cheek once her hair was out of her face. It was hard without her, which was why he was wanting to fix that as soon as he could. But first, Sora and Kairi would be married; he didn't want to steal their thunder with his proposal. That wouldn't be fair.

"Me too," Namine said softly, feeling chills either because of the cold ocean or because of Roxas's gesture. It had been far too long since she was able to be this close to him. Unfortunately, it was something she had to get used to again since it felt foreign in a lot of ways. She hated that that was true, but that was just how things were.
Roxas smiled, though it was one that held a bit of sadness. He didn't like to hear that, even if he was feeling the same way. "Let's change it," he said softly. He wanted to be with Namine as much as he could, but first...they probably needed to get cleaned up.

"We're already doing that, goof," Namine pointed out softly, smiling faintly as she felt another wave gently crash against her and Roxas without forcing them to move. They were already spending time together and getting reacquainted with each other right now, and at other times. She was glad, too, because she hadn't realized just how much she missed Roxas until she was with him again. She wanted that sad, lonely feeling to go away.
Roxas rolled his eyes, though he smiled in good nature. Even if they were changing it now, he wanted to change it more. Later on tonight, he hoped, after they showered and were cleaned up.

Namine laughed softly at Roxas's expression, seeing his smile after he rolled his eyes. He was a big goof, but that was alright. He knew when he was supposed to be serious, and right now, that wasn't necessary. She just wanted him to be himself, and for him to be with her. Even if they were standing in the middle of a cold ocean.
Roxas lowered his hand from Namine's cheek, a sigh leaving him as another wave rocked against their bodies. "C'mon, I'll walk you home," he said, turning and starting to wade through the water. They were both busy today, so hopefully after dinner they could see each other again.

Namine's smile softened, the girl following Roxas with her eyes. But then she started walking to catch up with him, though she wanted to lighten the sad air that still surrounded them. She bent down a little as she walked and splashed the back of Roxas's head with ocean water, hitting him with more than she had previously expected to. Oh well.
Roxas stopped walking at the splash, tensing up for a second before he turned around. His blue eyes instantly found Namine, which then narrowed. "You're in trouble," he said, his low tone expressing a mock-threat. He would get her either now or later. He had yet to make that decision.
  • Author
Namine walked up to stand next to Roxas, her hand coming to his cheek as her fingers started dancing over his skin. "Me? In trouble?" she asked sweetly, giving him a puppy-dog look. She didn't want him tackling her in the water or anything, which was why she had to convince him not to do anything rash. She had done this before and it worked...for a little while.
"Mm-hm," Roxas hummed, keeping up with his expression for now. It was hard when Namine was showing him affection like that, but he had to fight it to make his threat real. Well, as real as it could get.
  • Author
"That's a shame," Namine said, faintly shaking her head and moving her hand to ruffle Roxas's hair lightly. She knew just how much he loved that. She didn't know how to convince him not to get revenge on her, and she figured she was more out of practice with her pout than she thought she was. But she would get back in practice if Roxas forced her to.
Roxas squeezed one eye shut at the gesture, though he had to admit that it felt good. When was the last time Namine messed with his hair like that? "And why is that?" he asked. Why was it a shame? She wasn't scared, was she? She had to know that he would never actually hurt her. He couldn't ever do that.
