Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"Well, I figured me splashing you was nothing compared to you throwing me in the ocean. I wish we were on the same page," Namine said with a sigh, taking her hand away from Roxas's hair as she started walking forward again. She wasn't being serious, though; she knew whatever "punishment" Roxas gave would be given in good nature.
Roxas quickly caught up with Namine, wrapping his arms around her stomach from behind, holding her in place. "Are you kidding?" he told her softly, his eyes on her. "That pout was too adorable. I had a hard enough time resisting that. We're even." At least for now.

"You're going to hold that pout against me?" Namine asked, turning her head and giving Roxas that same pout as she stayed still in his arms. She couldn't really blame him, since they both knew what a good puppy-dog look could do to their relationship. Namine didn't fall for Roxas's all the time, but he almost always fell for hers. It was adorable.
Roxas's eyes softened when he saw it again, and he nodded. "Yup," he said, smiling a little before he kissed her wet hair. Namine was too cute for words, and he found it hard to fight that pout. But he would, just this once.

"Aw," Namine whined, looking away while still letting Roxas see the side of her face and the pout that remained there. It was a shame he was still thinking about "punishment" for one little splash and the pout, but it was alright. She was just glad to be in his arms and in his presence again after being separated for so long.
Roxas fought the urge to chuckle, pulling his lips from Namine's hair. "Get going," he told her, taking his arms back. It was getting late, which meant dinner would be starting soon. She needed to get home and cleaned up so Kairi wasn't alone for dinner tonight.

Namine looked over her shoulder at Roxas, realizing that she couldn't come out the victor in their little game. "Determined to win tonight, huh?" she asked softly, though a small smile was on her lips. He wasn't giving into her pout at all, so obviously he wasn't planning on succumbing to her pout tonight. But he was almost always determined not to fall for it, though he hardly ever won against it.
"Yup," Roxas said with a small nod, stepping past Namine. A small wave helped him with that, but he only smiled at her before continuing. He would still walk her home and then head home himself. Sora's mother never liked it when he was late for dinner.

"I guess I'll let you win for tonight," Namine said with a small smile, starting to walk and catch up to Roxas. She felt the weight of her clothes once they were out of the water, and she felt colder because of the clothes. But once she got home, she could take a nice hot shower, eat dinner, and then be with Roxas again. That was enough to keep her content.
"Good," Roxas said, turning his head to look down at the young woman he loved. Even if he won... "I'll still see you later, right?" He wasn't okay with this being the only time they saw each other. He wanted to see her more tonight.

"Only if you don't rub your victory in my face all night," Namine teased with a smirk, turning her head and looking over at Roxas. She did want to spend time with him, obviously. And she knew that he wouldn't be a jerk to her, tonight or any other night. They both loved each other with everything they had.
Roxas shook his head, a gentle smile on his lips. "Of course not," he said softly. He wasn't that mean; he would just give her the love she deserved. It was what he was here for, other than protecting her the best he could.

Namine smiled softly, nodding. "I'll see you later, then," she said quietly, glancing up ahead and seeing where they would go their separate ways. Roxas surely wanted to get a shower right away, and she had to get home and see how Kairi was doing with dinner. The two of them hadn't made a schedule of who was cooking when, but they'd sort it out eventually so it was fair.
Roxas nodded, putting a hand on Namine's lower back briefly before he turned down the path to go home. He would see her later, and hopefully they would have a great night. After everything, they needed it.

Later that night

Namine sighed and crashed on the couch, feeling the comfortable furniture underneath her body. Kairi left right after dinner to be with Sora, so Namine did the dishes. That was fair, though, since Kairi had made the meal by herself. And now that the dishes were done, Namine was wondering where Roxas was. Dinner with his family must have run later than expected, but that was alright. She knew she wasn't the only person who was important to Roxas.

Roxas left the elevator of the apartment building, walking down the hall. He knew which room was Namine's and Kairi's, though he already knew that Kairi was out with Sora. He left immediately after dinner. Roxas approached the door and knocked, his other hand in his pocket. He was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt, clean now and satisfied from a full stomach. Now it was time to be with the girl he loved.

Namine sat upright at the knock, knowing that there was only one person who could have been at the door. She stood up and straightened her sweatshirt and capris. Subconsciously, she stopped at the door and ran a hand over her hair briefly before she opened it up and saw the person that she had expected to see. Roxas. "Hey," she said with a small smile.
"Hey, beautiful," Roxas greeted with a small smile. "Ready to go?" He was taking her to their meadow tonight; the fireflies should have been out already. They hadn't been there since the Islands were restored, so it was about time they visited.

Namine smiled softly at the name, and at Roxas's question. "Where're we going?" she couldn't help but ask. She had figured they would relax in the apartment for the night, but she didn't mind going out. Since that possibility had crossed her mind, she already had her cell phone and her keys in her pocket. But the question still stood...Where were they going?
"Our meadow," Roxas said with a proud smile. He'd discovered it, but it was their place. No one else knew about it but them. It was going to stay that way as long as he had a say in it.

Namine felt her smile widen. "Then I'm ready," she said with a nod. "Let's go." It had been far too long since she had been there last. She hadn't even thought about it since returning to the Islands! But now that Roxas brought it up, she couldn't wait to go back to it. It was a special place for them.
Roxas nodded, stepping to the side and out of the way so Namine could exit. They would take his glider, since it was easiest and fastest. The last time Namine tried another route, she ended up getting hurt. He wasn't about to let that happen again.
  • Author
Namine switched off the light switch by the door and turned off the lights inside the apartment before she walked out, shutting the door behind her. She nodded to Roxas and smiled, starting to walk while trusting he would be close by. She couldn't wait to go back to their meadow.
Roxas and Namine left the apartment building and hopped onto his glider. Of course, he made sure he had a secure hold on her arms over his stomach when they took off; he didn't want her getting hurt any time soon. They soared over the beach and approached the other side of the Island, where their meadow was located. He started to lower his glider when they were close, though his eyes narrowed and his eyebrows furrowed when he caught a glimpse of the area. What...

Namine felt herself smile when their special place first came into view, though that smile quickly faded when she took in what the place looked like. She gasped softly, seeing the trees that had fallen due to ice damage and the grass that failed to grow back after everything. And there wasn't any sign of fireflies anywhere. Their special place...It was ruined.
