Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

Roxas lowered his glider to the ground, though the grass was dead and the flowers and the trees around the area were ruined. He loosened his hold on Namine's arms that way she could get off the glider, but he could sense her surprise behind him. The meadow...

Namine got off Roxas's glider when she realized that was what she was supposed to do. She lifted a curled hand to her lips as she looked around the area, her eyes wider than usual as she took this in. She had been looking forward to spending time with Roxas in such a beautiful place, but that beautiful place no longer existed. She should have thought of what the ice damage could have done to a place like this instead of letting her hopes get so big.
Roxas's glider disappeared once he stepped off, the boy taking a few steps forward so he was standing next to the girl he loved. "Oh no..." he said hoarsely, his voice soft in disbelief. The meadow was ruined because of what happened with the Ice Titan. The damage it caused...would it ever be the way it was before? Would the meadow come back?

Namine glanced over and down at the side opposite of Roxas, letting her bangs hide her eyes. The meadow didn't recover on its own, even after all this time, she thought. And she didn't know how to rebuild such a beautiful place. She could try planting flowers, but it would never have the same beauty that it did before. That realization made her want to cry.
Roxas lifted a hand to set on Namine's shoulder closest to him, though he wasn't looking at her just yet. His sad blue eyes roamed the area in front of them. Their special place was gone... I can't believe this.

Namine felt Roxas's hand on her shoulder, but she didn't look over at him. She just...couldn't believe that their special place was totally ruined. She didn't know how to handle that or what to think. The only thing that she knew was that she wanted to leave here and forget about the shape it was in. But she knew that the latter was impossible.
Roxas turned his head, his eyes finally resting on the girl he loved. He could tell by her posture that she was upset, but that was to be expected. He would be worried if she wasn't upset about this. He stepped in front of her, setting his other hand on her opposite shoulder. "Namine..." he said softly. If he knew the meadow was in this bad of shape, he wouldn't have brought her here. She was sad, and he hated to see that.

Namine kept her head lowered, hearing the concern in Roxas's voice. "Can we go?" she asked softly, her voice a little shaky as she held back tears. "Please?" She didn't want to linger in a place that showed so much destruction and damage now. This place used to show peace and hope, but now it seemed damaged beyond repair. She couldn't face that, or the implications that had for her life. The good was destroyed by the disaster and couldn't be rebuilt.
"Yeah," Roxas said with a small nod. He took his hands away from Namine's shoulders and stepped away, his feet crunching against the dead grass. It was a depressing sound, which made him frown as he called his Keyblade to his hand and tossed it into the air. His glider appeared a few seconds later, and he hopped on, holding a hand out for Namine to take. He had a feeling they wouldn't be coming back.

Namine glanced up only so that she could take Roxas's outstretched hand. She slid her hand into his as she got onto the glider behind him. She then wrapped her arms around him like she usually did and kept a firm grip on him, knowing how nasty a fall could be from such a high height. She was hardly concerned about that, though; right now, she just wanted to get away from this place.
As usual, Roxas put his hands over Namine's arms as he lifted his glider off the ground. He then left the meadow behind, knowing that this would be the last time they would be visiting for a long time, if they came back at all. Namine was depressed, and he didn't blame her. That place was so beautiful before, and now it was just...gone.

Namine was glad she was standing behind Roxas, because now she had some privacy to show her emotions. She shut her eyes and leaned her face against the back of Roxas's head, tears leaving her eyes. The wind pushed them back on her face, though, so they didn't come close to landing on Roxas's skin and alerting him to her crying. She figured the wind also covered her shaky breathing, but she could have been wrong about that.
Roxas felt a small trembling in Namine's arms, and he felt his expression soften as he soared over the trees of the Islands. She was crying... I wish I'd known, he thought sadly. I could have saved her from this.

I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up. I should have known that our place would have been... Namine held onto Roxas more tightly, not knowing that he knew she was crying. It was common sense that a place like that would suffer a lot of damage, so why hadn't she thought of that before she came? Why did she dumbly think that a place so special to the two of them was untouchable?
Roxas ran his thumb over one of Namine's hands, steering the glider back toward her apartment building. He figured they would just stay in for the rest of the night, but he would be with her. He wasn't about to leave her alone after this.

Namine glanced over Roxas's shoulder after a few minutes, seeing that they were approaching her apartment. She stopped her crying and composed herself the best she could, knowing she would have to wipe her tears before Roxas saw them. He must have been upset too, and crying over this really didn't make much sense; she had faced much worse than this and did it without crying. But...this struck a nerve--she couldn't help it.
Roxas lowered his glider gently to the concrete path that led to the double doors of the building, the boy loosening his hold on Namine so she could get off when she was ready. He hoped Kairi would be out with Sora for a little while; he knew Namine wouldn't be able to wipe away her sorrow too quickly.

Namine slipped one of her arms out from underneath Roxas's hands, carefully wiping at her eyes for whatever moisture wasn't dried by the wind. When she got it all, she released Roxas completely and stepped off the glider. She figured he would stay for a little while, since they had planned on spending the whole night together in the first place. But now they would both be sad together instead of being happy.
Roxas got off his glider after Namine, the machine disappearing the second he was on the ground completely. He put a hand on Namine's back, standing at her side as he tried to get a look at her face. "...Let's go inside," he suggested gently. She had the key, so she could lead.

Namine nodded faintly, glancing at Roxas out of the corner of her eye before she started forward. Now she was trying to figure out what the two of them could do for the rest of the night to still enjoy their time together. There was always TV, but wasn't there something else they could do to lift their spirits?
Roxas followed Namine, his hands naturally curling into loose fists as he walked after her. He wanted her to be happy; that was one of his lifetime goals, as well as keeping her safe. But...he wasn't doing a good job at the former. He hoped something could change that. He had to do something special to make up for this disappointment.

It didn't take long for Roxas and Namine to reach the apartment they had just left not too long ago. She unlocked it and stepped inside, holding the door open with one hand as she used her other hand to turn the lights back on. Kairi was still out, obviously; if she was in, the lights would have been on already. Namine was glad for that, because it meant she and Roxas had some privacy, and Kairi didn't have to see their sadness.
Roxas put his hand on the door when he followed Namine inside, holding it open until he turned around and shut it behind him. He made sure to lock it, always cautious. He didn't necessarily have a reason to be, since this neighborhood was nice and the building wasn't poor. It was all average, but of course that always left room for average crime. I don't need to be thinking about this right now. I have more important things to be worrying about. Like Namine's sorrow, and the meadow...

Namine lifted a hand and wiped at her eyes briefly before she looked back to Roxas, more composed. "Um...do you want something to drink?" she murmured, glancing at his eyes before her gaze went to his chest. She knew how easily he read her, and she didn't want him seeing whatever was in her eyes right now. She wouldn't let him.
"Yeah. Sure," Roxas said, nodding a little as he looked at Namine's face. She avoided his eyes, but he wouldn't avoid hers. She was beautiful, and the last thing he wanted to see was sorrow on her face. She deserved to be happy after all she faced, but...this was the opposite.
