Forever Starts Now (1x1 RP with Forever Love)

Posted

A friend and I have been doing a RP for a while now, and it has been scattered across several threads on two different sites. It started as a group story (about fast food of all things xP) but then it transformed into something else entirely.

We request that nobody join in this RP or post anything on this thread; if you wanna say how awesome we are, message us some other way. :)

Um...You're free to read this for fun if you want to, but this thread has major Birth By Sleep spoilers. And since we've been doing this for a while, we will probably refer to things we've done in the past and you will have no idea what we're talking about. So if you want to save yourself from confusion, then you probably wanna stay away. If not, hey, whatever.

The plot was discussed and posted on another website, but here's a quick summary of the whole thing: It's the return of Xehanort.

Characters:

Peanut: Sora, Namine, Leon, Aerith, King Mickey, Terra, Ventus, Xehanort, etc.

Forever Love: Riku, Kairi, Roxas, Yuffie, Aqua, Vanitus, Tron, etc.

I believe I've said everything that needs to be said...Forever Love, let's get this show on the road, eh? :)

"You can go ahead and turn on the TV if you want," Namine said softly, starting towards the kitchen. She would just get Roxas water, since he hardly ever drank soda. He was healthy when it came to beverages, but with food, he always ate junk. But he was thin because he worked hard to stay in shape and protect her. He couldn't always protect her, though. He couldn't protect her from the sadness of their special place being destroyed.
Roxas nodded and followed Namine for a few steps before he went into a separate room. The kitchen was attached to the living room, so he could hear Namine's footsteps as he approached the couch. He sat down on the sofa and used the remote to turn on the TV. This was a nice place, and he knew Kairi appreciated her grandmother's generous gift. It definitely helped them out with the living situation.

It only took Namine a minute to get the water for Roxas, and she just took a small sip out of it instead of getting her own drink; she wasn't really thirsty. She returned to the living room and saw Roxas already sitting on the couch, so she wordlessly set the glass on the end table next to him before she stepped over and sat next to him in the furniture, not saying anything as she did. What was there to say?
Roxas's arm was on the back of the couch behind Namine, the boy glancing at her before he reached for his water. "Thanks," he said softly, taking a sip after he spoke. The water was refreshing, even if he wasn't that thirsty. He was more distracted with other things, like the meadow.

Namine hummed, nodding faintly as she looked ahead to the television. Obviously it wasn't a very big deal, and all this reminded her of all the stuff that they did earlier. They were being goofy and having fun, and Roxas said he would punish her for splashing him. But goofing off wasn't likely after they saw their meadow in ruins.
Roxas set the glass down once he was finished with it, the boy glancing at the telvision for a few moments before he turned his head. His eyes fell on the girl he loved, the teen tilting his head as he recognized the look on her face. It was one of sadness. "Hey...talk to me," he said softly. They couldn't just sit in silence like this. He wasn't comfortable with it.

Namine shook her head faintly, her gaze remaining on the television. "There's nothing to say," she stated softly. He saw the ruins of the meadow as well, and how impossible it was to fix up such a place. Flowers could be replaced, but trees? And the magic of a place that once seemed indestructible? Neither of those could be replaced.
Roxas's eyes softened at that, and he turned his head, staring down at the coffee table in front of his feet. He didn't know how to respond to that. He wanted to say there was stuff to say, but...maybe Namine was right. Maybe there wasn't anything to be said. Their place was destroyed.

Namine sighed softly after a few moments of silence, shifting her position on the couch. She laid down on her side and let her feet rest on the side of the couch opposite Roxas as she let the side of her head rest on his leg. This wasn't a strange position for them, whether Namine was the one laying down or Roxas was in that position.
Roxas looked down at Namine, his arm on the back of the couch lowering so he could tuck some of her hair behind her ear. "I'm sorry," he said softly. He felt awful for not checking it out sooner. He should have, that way he could have saved Namine this heartbreak. That stupid Ice Titan...

"It's okay," Namine responded quietly. It wasn't his fault that this happened, and she didn't blame him for not checking the meadow before taking her. He had been busy lately, so she couldn't have expected him to go check to see if it was okay or not. He probably hadn't thought of it being destroyed; she knew that she hadn't done that. They both thought it was indestructible.
"No, it's not," Roxas said with a shake of his head. He wasn't happy about this at all. That place was theirs, and the Ice Titan destroyed it. It definitely wasn't okay, especially since it meant so much to Namine. It was a personal blow, which didn't sit well with him.

Namine lifted a hand and set it on Roxas's knee in front of her, her thumb starting to go over the fabric of his jeans in silence. Okay, so it wasn't fine. But what were they supposed to do, just sit around and mope about it? She would have suggested fixing it, but that seemed like an impossible task too. It was best to just forget about it...
I thought it was untouchable, indestructable. Invincible. But...it was just as fragile, Roxas thought, his eyes still resting on the girl he loved. He felt her gesture, and he could tell she was trying to soothe him, just as he was attempting with her. But...it just wasn't working like he hoped it would. "...At least we have our memories," he said without thought, his voice soft in the room. The place was indestructable there, at least.
  • Author
Doesn't that make it worse? Namine thought to herself. They had the memories of a place so magical, so perfect. And now that place was destroyed. She could never dwell on the past memories without thinking of the current state of the place and the fate it suffered. And every time she thought of that place, she would realize they couldn't create anymore memories there.
Roxas ran his hand over Namine's hair, his fingers traveling through it in silence. If the memories weren't enough, he would do something to help. He would fix it if he could. Yeah...that sounded good. She would be busy with the wedding, and he could take the time to do his own thing...for her. Could it work?

Namine squeezed Roxas's knee, her motion with her thumb stopping as the moisture in her eyes returned. She just wanted to forget about what happened to their meadow. It was better not to dwell on something so terrible. If Roxas was willing to act like their meadow was fine, then she was too. But she knew that wouldn't happen. Roxas didn't tune out reality; he always accepted whatever happened and didn't ignore anything. He wouldn't ignore this either.
"...Do you want me to go?" Roxas asked after another few minutes of silence. If Namine wanted to be alone or go to bed, he would understand. He didn't want to leave her alone after witnessing her reaction to the meadow, but he would do as she wished.
  • Author
Namine shook her head faintly against Roxas's knee. "No," she said softly, glad the moisture was out of her eyes again by now. "It's been too long since we were together." Despite what happened, she still wanted to be with him. Unless...he wanted to go. Then he could go home--she wouldn't keep him here if he didn't want to be here.
"Mm," Roxas hummed, continuing to run his fingers through Namine's soft tresses. It had been a while since they actually spent time together, and he wished that time could be spent at their special place. But now, it would be here. That was alright. If he was with Namine, he was okay.
  • Author
"Do you want to go?" Namine asked softly, shutting her eyes as she felt Roxas's fingers go through her hair again. If he stayed, they would probably spend the rest of their night like this. Unless they found something to lift their spirits. Maybe a funny movie? That was all she could think of, and she was normally very creative.
"No," Roxas said with a small shake of his head. The last thing he wanted to do was leave Namine when she was so sad. He wanted to be with her for as long as he could tonight; that was what he wanted from the get-go, and now he only wanted it more.
  • Author
Namine nodded faintly in recognition, her thumb starting to stroke Roxas's leg again. "What do you want to do for the rest of the night?" she asked softly. Sure he didn't want to just sit here and be miserable with her. She knew him--He would want to try and lighten things again and make both of them happy. She just wondered how he was planning on doing that.
"I don't know," Roxas said with a small shrug. "Maybe we could go see a movie, or go to the park. That's always nice at night." They went there once before, and Namine seemed okay with it. It was at least somewhere to go to get out of the house. They could even go on a walk if she wanted. He just didn't want her to be sad.
  • Author
"Is the park repaired?" Namine couldn't help but ask softly. She doubted it was, considering that not even all the houses were fixed up yet. Surely the homes had priority over the park, and if they weren't done, the park probably wasn't either. She didn't want to visit another place in ruins.
