Hello everyone? It's me again -actinglikeanyonecarestoreadthis- and this is clearly another Riku x Sora RP with VenRoxKH. So...um...enjoy ^^'?

Riku was careful not to make a sound, not a single squeak, as he approached the lump on the beds in the room he was sneaking into. Sora was clearly asleep. But that wouldn't be the case, not for long anyway.

Sora twitched in his bed enjoying his dream. He moaned happily at his dream. He dreamt of him and Riku watching the sunset like they always do. But this time, they held hands and it was so warm.

 

"Riku..." He called, his eyes still shut.

For a moment, Riku froze, holding his breath, afraid that he had been found out. But after giving a small second to relax, Riku smirked. Sora wasn't awake. He said his name in his sleep. The silverette pounced, pulling the covers off Sora in the process as he straddled the boy's waist, grinning. His hands were on either side of Sora's head as he rolled his eyes. What a wake-up call, huh?

Sora opened his eyes wide. He pushed Riku off of him and blushed.

"Riku! What are you doing?! It's seven o' clock! It's too early for this~"

 

Sora rubbed his eyes and pulled the covers over his head, trying to sleep again.

Riku rolled his eyes, laying down next to the brunette. Lazily, he played with the messy strands of hair sticking up and looked dead ahead at Sora.

 

"Did you forget already? Today's the day we go exploring that island."

Sora pulled off the covers slowly. Just enough so they bowed his ees.

"Oh. Right... Kay then!"

The brunette stood up and got Riku's hand. He pulled Riku out of his room and out the door.

"Let's go!!"

Riku blinked as his hand was held, pulling him out of the room. He gave a small 'che' as he looked to the side with a slight frown, blush staining his cheeks as he held Sora's hand back.

 

"Silly..."

(Happy Kill A Turkey Day!! )

 

Sora reached the coast and saw a boat. He let go of Riku's hand and checked it. E made sure there were no holes in te wood. That'd be a disaster.

 

Sora jumped in the boat and called to Riku.

"C'mon let's go!! Push it out to sea!"

( Poor Turkeys? My house smells SO GOOD xDDD)

 

Riku's hand twitched as Sora let go and pushed the boat off as Sora gave the okay, hopping into the boat lightly.

 

"I can't believe you didn't wake up earlier."

Sora frowned. "It was too cold outside! I tried to get up bit you weren't awake so I went back to my room..." Sora woke up in the mddle of the night sometimes. He didn't know why...

 

Sora smiled at Riku. "But at least I woke up, right? I mean, it'd be worse if I went to sleep forever~" Sora put an emphasis on the last word.

Riku gave a small laugh, poking Sora's forehead. If the boy ever fell asleep and didn't wake up Riku didn't know what he'd do. But he was sure he'd do everything he could to wake him up. After all, Sora was his best friend. He couldn't play with him when he was asleep.

 

"I wouldn't let that happen."

Sora rolled his eyes and smiled. "I'm a kid, not a baby." he said, rubbing his forehead. He grabbed the

ores of the boat and motioned for Riku to get in.

"C'mon Riku~!"

Riku gave an exasperated sigh, before getting a running start and hopping into the boat. He grabbed an oar, helping Sora propell themselves to the island slowly.

 

"Sora, you can't even swim, let alone defend yourself"

Sora pouted. This guy just didn't know when to stop teasing him.

"I can too swim!! I've swam alot! I just can't fight. I don't like fighting. Hurting other people isn't something I can do, Riku..."

"Exactly. He won't be able to defend yourself in a fight when thinking like that. That's why I'm here to protect you." Riku said proudly, puffing out his chest as he winked and prodded his heart with his thumb. "No one will hurt you when I'm here, not on my watch anyway." Riku said confidently, pausing in his rowing of the oars to laugh a bit.

Sora blushed. He soon smiled because he felt glad that Riku wanted to protect him. Sora turned to see how close they were to the islandand tey were almost there. They were almost to his and Riku's spot. The one place tey'd be alone.

 

He turned back to Riku and smiled. "I'm glad we're friends, Riku!"

Riku blinked in surprise at the statement, unexpecting that response.

 

"I...uh..." He looked to the side, blushing slightly as he mumbled under his breath. Why did Sora have to be so darn cute?

 

"Same here."

Sora smiled and paddled faster. A loud thump came and he laughed happily. Sora jumped out the boat and pulled Riku with him, holding his hand. He ran across the sandy beach and over to their secret tree.

 

"So what do you want to do first Riku?" Sora asked excitedly.

Riku didn't know why he felt the need to protect Sora, to always be close. All he knew was that Sora was innocent and lovable and if anyone hurt him, they'd pay.

 

"We could swordfight or catch some cool animals." He offered with a slight shrug.

Sora laughed.

"Okay! We'll swordfight! Ten I can prove that I don't need your protection!"

Sora ran to to a little hut and came out with a wooden sword.

 

"Get ready, Riku!"

Riku narrowed his eyes just slightly, giving a smirk as he got his and took his stance.

 

"Nice try Sora," He took a lunge, narrowly missing his side. "But you've never beaten me." He taunted, wagging his sword in front of his face lightly.

Sora frowned. "Riku! Don't be so cocky! I have beaten you before!! Maybe like twice..."

 

He lunged for Riku but missed when he tripped on a depression in the sand. He hit his chin on the ground and felt a horrible pain. His eyes opened wide, tearing up at the stinging pain.

 

He'd never been hurt before...

Riku watched as Sora fell to the sand harshly, his chin making a rough impact. He immediately knelt to the ground, pulling te brunette up by his shoulder, lifting his chin forcefully.

 

"Are you okay?" He asked softly, wiping away the sand infecting the redness of the skin.

Sora looked at Riku but his expression didn't change.

"I taste something funny in my mouth..." Sora reached into his mouth with his finger and moved it around. He took out his finger and noticed the red liquid on it.

 

Sora's tears welled up and spilled over.

Riku looked down at Sora sympathetically, wiping away his tears.

 

"Shh, it's okay." He opened his mouth, thumb on his lower lip, so Riku could examine the damage. It wasn't anything excessive, he just bit his lip.

 

"Stay here, I'll get some ice." He ordered, standing up to go get the pack.

Sora shook, his tears still falling. The taste of the red liquid reminded of him that he got hurt. When Riku left, he cried harder, mostly because he didn't have the company of his friend.

 

"R-Riku, it hurts~!!" he cried, tears getting bigger.
