Start us off my flamboyant darling?

(Me = Haku (male OC), Sora, Kairi.

Zexy = Riku, Miyu (female OC), Selphie.)

 

Haku sat in the sand with a stick in hand and drawing a picture with it. He finished up, looking at Sora expectantly. "Like it?" He asked, smiling. Sora looked down at the sand picture and giggled. "It's Kairi!" He pointed out, blushing.

Miyu smiled, pulling Riku along with her by the hand, down the shores of the Destiny Island to where she knew Sora and Haku would be hanging out. Her blond pig-tails flopped slightly behind her in unision with her yellow sundress.

 

"C'mon Riku? We're late!" The silverette rolled his eyes, allowing himself to be reluctantly pulled along.

 

"Only because you had to make your pig-tails even..."

Haku saw the two in the distance and stood up, waving. "HI!" He called out to them, his gray eyes twinkling in the sunset light. Quickly, Sora rubbed out the picture with his foot, standing up as well. Although he was sure he knew that Riku knew that he liked Kairi, he could never be too sure about the red head. After all, she was only a few feet away, gazing out at the sea. (She seemed to be too dazed to hear them...)

(Lol, so much confusion )

 

Miyu waved back with her free hand, pulling the boy behind her faster with a tug, nearly causing to trip and face plant in the sand. Of course the blond hadn't noticed. Riku sliped his hand from hers and ran to catch up to the others, leaving Miyu to run after him. She hated running.

 

"Hey Sora, Haku," He nodded at the red head. "Kairi." Miyu came beside him, huffing.

 

"Rikuuuu?You-know-I don't-run-well."

(Stupid avatar. It takes a long damn time to load... >____>)

 

Kairi looked over at him, giving him a friendly smile. "Hi Riku." Haku and Sora smiled too, but gave no response. Until... "Riku, you like Kairi, right?" Haku asked, poking his shoulder. Sora gave a distressed face and looked away, uncomfortably shifting in place. Kairi giggled.

(Lol, try logging out then logging back in right after and then change your avi again to what you want.)

 

Riku raised an eyebrow, giving Haku an amused glance and then back at Kairi. He tilted his head to the side gently, shrugging as he closed his eyes.

 

"Kairi's alright, a good friend. Why?" He asked peeking open one eye to look at Sora. Miyu poked Haku's forehead teasingly, wearing a small pout. She knew what the boy was doing.

 

"No teasing Haku? You know it's not nice!"

"I'm not teasing...I just found a paopu (sp?) fruit laying around, and since Sora is --" Sora quickly covered Haku's mouth, blushing and wavign his hand dismissingly.

 

"IIIIISN'T ROMANTICALLY INTERESTED ON ANYONE ON THE ISLAND."

 

Kairi broke into the conversation, shrugging nonchalantly. "You don't have to like the person romantically to share the fruit with them. It intertwines their destinies." This made Sora blush even deeper. "...O-Oh..."

( I love Sora's reactions?)

 

Riku nodded, giving a small smirk. Folding his arms behind his head, the silverette flopped down next to Sora, looking up at him as he layed down in front of him. He often did that, sometimes going as far as to take a cat nap.

 

"Why would you assume that it has to be for someone you love?" He questioned airily.

 

Miyu gave a small 'oh' at Haku's reply, sitting down next to him as she patted out the wrinkles in her dress.

 

"If that's the case," She started, looking at Kairi. "Why don't we all share the paopu fruit? That way we can all stay together, as friends."

 

(I'm sure that's how you spell it ^^')

Sora looked down at the sand, thinking over Riku's question a little. "Well, it just seems like...I-If you love the person, you'd want to be with them a long time, so...intertwining destinies sounds pretty close to it."

 

Kairi sat next to them, taking the fruit from Haku. "Good idea!" She said, looking over at Sora. "Don't you think?"

 

"Um! Y-Yeah!"

 

(How do you 'share' a paopu fruit? Do you like, eat it? *dumb ginger moment* I was never really clear on that.)

(Yeah, you eat it You didn't know that? Then again, you didn't have the first game until now )

 

Riku nodded, understanding what Sora was saying. And he was pretty sure he knew who Sora was talking about. He flicked a gaze over to Kairi, shaking his head. He knew that one of the only reasons Sora liked her was because she was from another world. Not Destiny Islands. He'd be lying if he said her original birthplace didn't intrigue him.

 

"I guess we can all share."

 

Miyu beamed, smiling as she got several agreements from the other kids. It was nice to be heard, especially by Kairi, the mysterious girl who'd come from another World. They all listened to her. The blond was glad Kairi was nice to her, or else no one would really care what some transfer student from the West side of the Islands would say.

 

"Great. So...who wants to split it?"

(Yeah, lol. I just got the first one last month and I finally made it past the firetruckin' Traverse Town bit... I wonder what a paopu fruit tastes like. Probably like dreams and starlight! 8D)

 

"Do we need to?" Haku asked, taking the fruit from Kairi and biting off a big piece of it with an audible 'om.' Sora sweatdropped, scratching his cheek in embarassment. "I don't think that's what she meant..." Kairi gave a nervous laugh.

 

They passed the fruit in a circle; Haku to Sora, Sora to Riku, Riku to Kairi, and Kairi to Miyu. Miraculously, there was enough for everyone to have one big bite.

 

(*Is now trying to morph a banana to look like a paopu fruit and failing* :0)

Riku blinked after he bit into the fruit, relishing in it's taste on his tongue. It was...weird. It had some slight sugar to it but a smooth texture along with bitterness overwhelmed it. It reminded him ver the dark chocolate he prefered over the milk chocolate Wakka practically lived on. Looking around, he didn't notice -or feel- a difference in himself or anyone else. He shrugged, giving a half yawn.

 

"Well, looks like we'll know if it worked 10 years from now won't we?" Riku sighed lowly, using his bored tone, the one he specified only when he thought something was a waste.

 

Miyu was surprised as she bit into the paopu fruit. It was light and creamy, reminding her oh-so-much of those Vanilla Cream ice ceams she loved. In hearing Riku's comment she laughed nervously, averting her gaze elsewhere.

 

"I-I guess so, huh?"

(Well I got confused. "WHAT IS THIS PLACE AND WHY ARE THERE SO MANY OSTRICHES."

"Shelby, those are people."

"WHAAAT?!")

 

"Riku, that's mean!" Haku blurted, spitting out the leaf he had accidentally eaten along with the fruit. "Ew..." He muttered, wiping it in the sand. (8D) Kairi made a face, scooching away from him and more to Sora. Sora, taking this as a flirt attempt, yelped in response, looking around to see if anyone else noticed it.

 

Haku didn't seem to care, sifting his fingers through the sand boredly.

( How's your banana/paopu fruit coming along?)

 

Riku looked at Haku with a smal smirk, scoffing ever slightly.

 

"I can't take that seriously as it came from someone who nearly ate a leaf." He said lightly, eyeing the leaf like it was dieased. Which to him, it was.

 

Miyu noticed Kairi moving closer to Sora and the saliva coated leaf. She giggled.

 

"C'mon guys, it's just a leaf." She stated cheerfully, picking it up by it's slightly bitten stem with her thumb and pointer finger before getting up and dropping it in some nearby shrubbery before coming back. It wasjust spit after all. "See? It's gone."

(It looks really gross cause it's all mushy and kfjdkjsfdn D: And in like, 4 years, I can see Haku randomly turning to Riku, in his time of dying and being like, "...Remember when I ate that leaf?"

"...Wait, wha-"

"It was funny, huh? *dies*"

"What just happened?")

 

"Yeah, but it was in Haku's mouth." Sora joked after Kairi moved back to where she was, in a more comfortable distance away from him. Kairi didn't agree, but stood up, beginning to walk away. "Guys, it's almost dark out. I think we should head back." Sora began to follow, like the puppy he was, making a noise of agreement.

 

(Riku: He's such a tool. =___=")

Miyu nodded, getting up in unison with the others as she lightly patted the sand off her yellow sundress.

 

"I guess so..." She mumbled, looking out to the darkening sea and gulpig. She didn't like the dark. At all. "So who's pairing with who?" She quiped brightly, putting on a smile as she turned her friends. Being they were so young, at least 9 or 10, they boated out to their island from home in pairs as it was safer. Less chance of getting lost, especially if the stayed until nightfall.

 

Riku took a hold of Haku's arm, dragging him to the water's edge by his small vessel.

 

"I'll take this one and one other. Being Haku here fails at direction." He teased, smirking down at Haku as he gave off that aura of superiority to him.

Kairi looked at Miyu cheerfully, taking her hand as well. "I guess I'll go with Miyu." She stated. Haku looked at Sora, his arm still in Riku's grip. "Sora is coming with us, then!" The brunette blinked, nodding after a short pause. He didn't want to admit it, but...he wanted to go with Kairi and Miyu. But since Riku and Haku insisted, he went along with it. And besides, he didn't want either of them thinking he was a sissy and wanted to play with girls or anything.

Miyu allowed her and Kairi to be lead away to their boat, waving to the boys who had already kicked off and were gliding efortlessly through the water as they paddled, the sun's rays disappearing under the horizen little by little.

 

"L-let's go Kairi." Miyu rushed, pushing their boat off to and ignoring the chill that came across the surface of the water, chilling her.

 

Riku noticed the slightly disappointed look on Haku's face and raised an eyebrow as they sailed, making their way to the island.

 

"Missing the girls already?"

(Lol, you mean Sora's disappointed right? I think you misunderstood or misread that last post. )

 

Sora shook his head violently in response, his hair following the motion. "No way!" He insisted, denying Riku's false (TRUE) allegations. Haku was already asleep, not getting his fair share of paddling in. Sora sighed at his laziness, taking his paddle reluctantly.

(Lol, whoops ^^; My bad?)

 

Riku raised an eyebrow, smiling slightly as he paddled a bit faster, Haku already asleep. I vote tossing him overboard...He thought lightly, but dismissed it. Sora would be upsetand then it'd take even longer to get home.

 

"Sure you don't. Of course?" Riku said in a slightly sing-song voice, noticing the girls catching up from behind them.

 

(Hey, HEY guess what?! Do you know what time it is? It's tomorrow?! )

(An' you woulda got a queen if you'd been here yestuhday, but it's tomorrow an' yer lucky I'm talkin' to you. )

 

Sora looked at him questioningly, tilting his head to the side slightly. "I don't think I've ever heard you use that voice before, Riku." He said, noting the sing song tone he had just used. It was weird coming from Riku especially since he wasn't the type of person that would do that. Sora chuckled. "It was kinda funny."

("Wazz goin' on out there?"

"Gurl, Nacho Libre is trippin'!" )

 

Riku blinked, before realizing he had indead used his rare, carefree sing-song lilt. He hadn't used it since he was at least three. Before he could really go into thinking, the silverette's aqua eyes looked to Sora, dancing with mischeif.

 

"Funny?" He chuckled, clearly amused by Sora's speculations. "Alright then." They were fairly close to land now...

As land approached, Sora turned to sleeping Haku and shook him gently. "Haku," He cooed softly, making the raven-haired child turn a little. "We're almost there, Haku. Wake up!" He shook Haku a little more roughly and he eventually came back to his senses. "Oh..." Haku rubbed his eye with his wrist drowsily and yawned. Sora laughed. Haku was cute when he did that.

 

(NO SORA DOES NOT LIKE HAKU. )

Riku noted Haku's yawn, Sora's laugh, and how it made him focus a little bit more on the quickly approaching islands in front of them.

 

"It's about time you woke up." Riku mumbled, jabbing him in the side with the paddle he should have been using instead of napping.

 

"We lagged behind and look," He pointed to the shore where Miyu and Kairi were patiently waiting. "The girls beat us."
