Haku blinked. "I didn't know it was a race." He said, scratching the back of his head, surprised. He looked over at the girls and back at Riku. "How come you don't like the girls, Riku?" He asked, making Sora pull him along. "C'mon Haku, Kairi and Miyu have been waiting.

Riku blinked, not really expecting that question as the boat bumped against the shoreline, scattering sand as they all got out. Tying the boat up he shrugged.

"I dunno', they're just...there I guess." He answered before getting up to follow after Haku and Sora. Miyu giggled.

"What took you guys?"

Sora was irked by his comment, but let it go. "Haku fell asleep on the way." Sora admitted, elbowing said boy in the ribs. Haku looked down at the sand below them. "Is it supposed to be a race? Riku got mad at me..." He looked to Sora. "Did you know that?"

"Well, Riku changes things up sometimes."

(In other words: Riku can be a dick sometimes xD)

Riku rolled his eyes, nudging Haku in the ribs along with Sora.

"Don't take it personally, jeez." He mumbled, walking up the shore to their houses, hands in his pockets. "I'm out." Miyu jumped up instantly, chasing him. She and him did share a hut anyway for the time beings.

"Rikuuu, wait!" She called. That jerk...always making me run...She thought stubbornly before turning to wave at the others. "See you tomorrow guys!"

Sora and Haku waved too. "Yeah..." Haku's voice trailed off, yawning again. Haku pulled Sora to their own abode, waving to Kairi, who was usually alone in her hut. (LOLHUT.) Kairi waved as well, making her way back.

(Next day?)

(Yep :D)

Riku awoke the next morning, rubbing one eye as he headed to the kitchen to cut up some fruit. His dad wasn't home yet, probably had to leave for work early, so it was just him and Miyu. The blond was passed out on the couch when he found her, carrying two bowls.

"Still sleeping..." They were supposed to meet at their place again, Riku had announcement to make. "Hey, get up." He ordered, poking her with her bowl. Miyu jumped, being a light sleeper.

"Oh, g'morning Riku."

(Lol Riku has an announcement..."Okay guys. No one freak out. I'm gay.")

Meanwhile, Sora and Haku were hanging out on the island, waiting for the others to awaken. "Kairi is probably up," Haku said sheepishly to Sora. "And Riku too." Sora sighed. They had been waiting for a bit even though it was still early.

  • Author

(Lol, could you imagine Kairi: O_o Oh. Mah. Gawd!)

Soon after Miyu was ready, she and Riku had arrived on the island, each with their breakfast in hand. The blond waved enthusiastically, green eyes gleaming.

"Hey guys!" Riku shrugged, sitting himself down next to Sora and Miyu next to Haku.

"Sorry, someone slept in." Ignoring the silverette's jab, Miyu shrugged, instead handing Haku a strawberry.

Haku accepted the fruit gladly, smiling at her. Finally, Kairi arrived, her sandals in hand. "Hey guys...Sorry for the wait. I had to do some chores." She explained, sitting in the circle with the rest. Haku bit into the strawberry he was given. Kairi usually didn't have to explain herself; chores were always the excuse.

Riku finally cleared his throat.

"Good, now that we're all here. I can tell you what my announcement is." Miyu, looking up at him curiously, popping a blueberry in her mouth, letting Kairi sit next to her. They had been waiting for this for a while now but Riku had always held it off. Until now.

"Guys I want to travel to other Worlds." Miyu's fruit got stuck in her throat as she tried coughing it out.

Sora blinked. "Other...Worlds?" He repeated, looking over at Haku, who looked stunned. "How would we do that?" Haku asked curiously. None of them, besides Kairi, had ever been to another world. They were curious. But they didn't know how to get there or where they'd end up destiny-wise.

  • Author

"Yeah, other Worlds." Riku said slowly, giving Miyu one hard thump on the back to clear her throat. "I figure, if Kairi came by sea, then we can sail there. With a raft." He said, knowing he sounded crazy, but it'd be worth it. Right? Miyu shook her head, crossing her arms uneasily.

"I don't know Riku, what's wrong with Destiny Islands. We all like it here, don't we?"

Kairi shrugged. "I think it's worth a shot!" Sora, in hearing Kairi's approval, paused in surprise. She...wanted to? He gulped. If Kairi and Riku were actually going to try it, then he figured that he should be curious as well. "I wanna go too." Sora finally said. Haku was skeptical. "Miyu is right...What if it backfires?"

  • Author

Riku looked at Miyu and Haku with a slight glare, arms crossed.

"Then stay here and never know if we made it." He said stubbornly, not appreciating how they found the negatives in his plan. "Seriously, don't you wanna' know what's out there?" Miyu shifted, looking downcast.

"I...I guess..."

Haku looked sadly in Riku's direction. He never did tolerate his attitude; he always tried to convince others to be on his side. But his charm was inevitable. He shrugged as well. "I dunno...what if it's dangerous?"

"Be adventurous!" Kairi insisted, smiling brightly. "I just..." Haku shifted uncomfortably. "Fine, but I have a bad feeling about it."

(Lol, do I smell a crush on Riku via Haku xD)

In seeing Haku agree with the others, Miyu sighed, giving in. She was always one to go along with the crowd anyway.

"I guess I'm in too..." She mumbled. The replies caused a smile to flit across Riku's face and he winked, standing up proudly.

"Good! Now that that's out of the way, who's ready to play?"

(Meh, kinda. xD I didn't plan on it.)

The group lightened up at that. Kairi was the first to reply, smiling that cute smile she had. "Okay!" She agreed. Sora blushed at Kairi's grin. He liked her smile more than anything ever since she had arrived from Radiant Gardens. "Mhmm," Sora agreed. Haku made no reply, just watched.

(Aw, that's cute x3)

Miyu jumped up with him, clasping her hands behind her back.

"Sure, let's all swordfight!" She offered, reaching into her bag to pull out the wooden sword she had made just for this occasion. Riku frowned a bit, crossing his arms with a huff.

"Girls can't swordfight, they watch and be damsels in distress." He stated matter of factly.

(I HATED it when boys did that to me when I was little!)

(OMFG Are you a wizard, because i did too! When JT and I would play Sonic the Hedgehog at Red apple, I'd always wanna be Shadow, but he wanted me to be Amy. >_>)

Kairi frowned, much to Sora's dismay. "That's not a very effective stereotype, Riku. Just because we're girls doesn't mean we can't fight too." She said. Sora immediately jumped on Kairi's side and defended her. "Riku," He tugged on his arm, looking up at him with big, blue eyes. "Give them a chance."

(xD I especially hated it when they had Yu-Gi-Oh cards and NEVER let me join. Especially because if and when I did, I beat their asses xD)

(OH GOD, SORA'S PUPPY-DOG EYES! CANNOT RESIST -hypervetilation-)

Riku took one look at Kairi's frown and Sora, disapproving his behavior. He always had to defend her didn't he? Honestly, if he were any more obvious about his crush he might as well write on his forhead: I LOVE KAIRI. Yet, the blue eyes pleading at him halted his actions to say his thoughts. Giving a low moan he pulled out his sword, tossing one to Sora and Kairi.

"Fine. But if they cry or get hurt--"

"We're girls Riku, not babies." Miyu cut in, drawing her sword out and looking down at Haku. "You going to hop in?"

Haku shook his head. He liked being a spectator rather than a fighter. "No, I'll watch!" He insisted, watching as Sora and Kairi smiled at each other. It was the first time they had convinced Riku to let them play. And it made a big impact on Riku's crabby attitude.

(Holy shit. Once, I was in the play area at the mall and some nerds were playing YuGiOh. I happened to have my cards with me, so I asked to play. "LOLNOPE." I play anyway, whip out my Egyptian gods and Exodia, and they're all owned. xD)

  • Author

(xD THAT'S HOW WE DO! I remember once, at Red Apple, JT was acting all high and mighty because he was 'undefeated'. I ask to play and he goes: Since you'll probbly lose, I'll bet with my Blue-Eyes. I now have three Blue-Eyes White Dragons xD)

Miyu gave a smal pout but shrugged, taking a fighing stance as she stood across from Kairi.

"Okay then." Riku did the same, knowing who he'd aim for. A certain clingy brunette...

.

.

.

Miyu fell in a huff, winded, next to Kairi. They had been one of the firsts out but it had been fun. Now it was Sora and Riku on a 1x1. Riku lunged, skimming Sora's side just barely, making sure to not hit the girls. Sora hadn't gotten better since last week...

(Rikuuuu yer jeeeaaalllooous. Omg I have like, 2 Dark Magicians and 4 Harpie Ladies due to JT's snarkiness.)

Sora wasn't surprised when Riku went for him. He wasn't set on winning; he knew that Riku would dominate this fight as he always did. But it wouldn't Hurt to have fun. So he just barely dodged, Feeling the sword skim past his waist. He backed up, attacking Riku without mercy.

  • Author

(xD And then at the end he was all: Oh I let you win. Pfft, yeah, okay.)

(Lol, why'd you capitalize the 'h' n hurt?)

Riku defended, nearly breaking a sweat as he lunged and parried skillfully. He smirked as he nearly disarmed Sora, eyes gleaming with that familiar cocky attitude.

"C'mon Sora, just give-" He saw and opening, right by Sora's upper chest and went for it. He wasn't intending on Sora to dodge. Nor was he intending to accidentally hit Haku on the head with the fake sword as a result, none to gently. "Up." Miyu jumped slightly. She knew it probably hurt, her wrist still stung from when Riku hit it.

(HAKU NUUUUU!!!!)

(Sorry, my iPod decided to...It capitalizes a lot of things. xD)

Haku rubbed the top of his head in pain, his eyes tearing up. "O-Ow..." He squeaked, trying not to cry. Sora looked at Riku sternly, puffing his cheeks in annoyance. "Riku, we told you not to hit so hard!" He reminded him, kneeling down next to Haku with Kairi, who was checking the bump on his head. "Is he okay?"

"Yeah, he'll be fine. Maybe we should play something else..." Kairi suggested.
