Namine saw Riku lay on back on the grass out of the corner of her eyes but didn't say anything. It was obvious by the look on his face that he was thinking. How were Riku and Sora suppose to work things out if they couldn't see each other without looking away from the other?

It was really frustrating, but Namine couldn't really do much change the situation. She let out a soft sigh before taking out her sketch book and and a pencil, planning on drawing anything that interested her to take her mind off of things.

Riku sighed. He brushed the stray strand of hair from his face. When he started to notice how blue the sky was, he got an idea. He stood and helped Namine up also. Riku smiled and put an arm around Namine.

"How about we go to the island?"

Namine was startled when Riku but his arm around her shoulders. She blinked a few times, a bit confused as to why he wanted to go to the play island. "Okay" she said, wondering what was going through Riku's mind as she was lead by Riku to the docks. When they got there, Namine noticed that one of the boats was missing. 'Is someone already at Destiny Islands?' she thought trying to figure out who would go there on a Monday.

Riku stopped in his tracks when he noticed that someone had taken the boat. Who was? Should he still go? But he just wanted to be alone... This ruined everything.

Riku helped Namine into the boat and sighed. He pushed it farther into the ocean and clumbed in himself. When he was in, he grabbed the ores and looked at Namine. "Were gonna see who's on our island."

Namine nodded her head in agreement. The sooner they got to the island, the sooner they would find out who was there. Meanwhile, Sora was still sitting on the dock, the wind making his hair sway softly. He took a deep breath of the salty ocean air, feeling like he was finally able to think things through. The crown necklace hanging around his neck as the sunlight reflected off of it.

Sora figured that Riku was right; they were moving too fast. The both of them needed time to get to know one another first before even considering being together. Now... the main question for Sora was how to talk to Riku without said teen avoiding him like he was the Black Plague.

Riku rowed into the waters and up to the shore. He and Namine didn't have much of a conversation. They just went silently. As they arrived, Riku slowed down and stopped the boat. He helped Namine out and stepped onto the shore. Riku turned to Namine and smiled.

"So where should we go? You wanna walk?"

"Anywhere is fine with me" said Namine. Truth be told, she had no clue as to why Riku would want to come to the play island. Maybe she was overlooking something important. Well, whatever the reason, Riku seemed to be a lot more relaxed

Riku walked over the sandy beach. He enjoyed the feeling f the sand crunching underneath his feet and smiled. However, he paused when he saw a figure sitting in the distance. He had brown spikey hair and a kiddih figure. Was that...

Sora?

What was he doing here? Was he the person who took the boat? Wasn't he at school? Suddenly, Riku felt rotten again.

Sora let out a dejected sigh. He couldn't think of any other way to confront Riku that didn't involved him pestering his friend. 'Why is this more complicated that it has to be?' thought Sora as he let out another sigh. Suddenly, Sora felt like he was being watched so he looked around before settling his eyes on two very familiar figures standing in the distance.

Riku and Namine.

But why were they here? Sora didn't have a clue so he just settled with waving at them, hoping that this wouldn't become too awkward. Namine had stopped when Riku did and wondered why before looking around him and seeing a very familiar brunette sitting on the dock. She didn't think that Sora would be the person who took the boat. When Namine saw Sora wave towards them, she waved back slighly before glancing at Riku, noticing the look of regret he had.

Riku's legs pulled him closer to Sora. He didn't know why but they just moved. They wanted to be closer. Near. His lips were about to curve into a smile but no. He didn't want that. He couldn't smile right now. He shouldn't.

As he reached Sora, he sat next to him on the dock but didn't look at him.

"Hey."

"Hi" said Sora, a small smile on his face. He glad that Riku was talking to him instead of trying to avoid him like this morning, even if he wasn't looking at him. He saw Namine from the corner of his eyes and saw her giving him a thumbs up before walking away silently. It looked like she saw going to give the two of them some privacy, which Sora was thankful for. He and Riku needed to work things out.

"So..."
