Ronald Knox was starting to get bored of his job as a Reaper. He forgot what he was doing it for. It wasn't hard doing his job anymore. It was too litle of a challenge...He walked around the headquarters, his head down and hands in his pockets. Ronald looked up with his green and yellow eyes. What could possibly occupy him?

Alice Lovell leaned back in her chair leisurely, lightly turning a page in her book as she got out of her comfortable chair to venture down the hallway to her dormitory. So far, everything had gone well. Her once in a while mission to collect souls -this time of one Louis Parker- went smoothly. No overtime necessary. It was nice. So she finally got to sit down and read in the quite without anyone bothering her.

 

At least, that's what Alice hoped.

Ronald sighed and continued to walk down the halls. He heard there was a new person hired about a week ago but he hadn't met her yet. He decided to go see if he could find her. Although, he had no idea what she looked like. As he turned the corner, he bumped into someone and apperabtly they spilled many papers.

 

"Ah, sorry."

Alice yelped as she was knocked into something and her book scattered across the floor. She quickly made it a point to glare up at the person foolish enough to do such a thing. She realized the culprit was a Reaper, one with striking eyes similar to her own and multi-colored hair.

 

"Can't you watch where you're going? Sorry doesn't pay for my ruined book."

Ronald shot a questioning look at the girl. He hadnt seen her before. This must've been that girl who was hired. He immediately smirked at her reaction It'd be fun to toy with her right? I mean, he DID want entertainment.

 

"Oh yeah? Then however can I make it up to you?" He asked in a flirty tone, his eyes seductive and sneaky.

(Oh God here comes Ladies Man Ronald )

 

Alice gave a small glance at the look on Ronald's face and held down her blush, instead forcing a deadpan. Was this guy seriously hitting on her at a time like this? It had to be at least 9 pm.

 

"You can start by wiping that ridiculous looks off your face. I'm not going to fall that easily. Especially not when I don't even know your name."

Ronald smirked and got close to her face. He gave her a toothy smile and put his hand on hers.

 

"Name's Ronald Knox. Reaper and the star of your dreams from now on. May I ask for your name, m'lady?" He asked, feeling like a complete fool but satisfied at his cleverness.

 

(Oh yeah. Ronald's got game.)

(Hell yeah he does.)

 

The blond resisted the urge to roll her eyes at his attempted charm and backed up just slightly, adjusting herself.

 

"My name is Allison Lovell, but I rather Alice." She stated lightly, poking his forehead gently to move him back a bit. "And, Ronald, do you flirt with every girl that you lay eyes on?"

Ronald chuckled. He got up and stood tall again. "Why, of course not. That wouldn't be very gentleman like of me, now would it? I wasn't flirting at all. Just being friendly and speaking the truth." He helped Alice up. "That isn't so bad, is it?"

Alice dusted herself off curtly, gathering her book in her arms and looking at Ronald with uninterested hooded eyes. This one seemed far from gentleman like. He was way to laid back.

 

"I guess not. But this wouldn't have happened had you been paying attention." She said pointedly, beginning to walk to her room.

Ronald smirked. Of course she'd say that. This girl was something else. She didnt fall for his charm so easily. It irritated yet astounded him...

 

"Right. Well, goodbye, dear Alice." He said, bowing a bit before waving goodbye.
