Daniel sat in one of the comfortable chairs in the break room.

He lit up a cigarette, unsure if he was even allowed to smoke in here. Of course, he usually wouldn't really smoke it. Addicted to the smell, not the nicotine.

He put out the cigarette, tossing it in an ash tray nearby.

Looks like he could smoke here.

He sat back into his chair, relaxing completely, not a care in the world. That's right, no one could ruin his break.

And if anyone did, they'd be in a hassle.

Sure, Daniel was pretty easy going, but he wouldn't appreciate someone interrupting his relaxation time.

He would definitely not like that.

"Deliver these to Dr. Chiuchiarelli," was what one of the other nurses instructed him, laying a thick vanilla folder in his hands. It was probably files about the man's patients; how boring and lame. Nevertheless, Aaron smiled and said he'd get the job done. Although he wished he could have some other task, one that could prove his skills --since he was still new and all. He turned out of the Nurse's Station, not seeing the eye roll of the other nurse, and started his search.

The first place to check was obviously the doc's office. Along the way he absentmindedly flipped through the many papers in the folder --though he didn't take in any information scribbled upon the sheets. Aaron carefully weaved through the other doctors and nurses along the way, and smiled at the patients he passed. When he saw the door with the name "Dr. Daniel Chiuchiarelli" stamped on the surface, he knocked. Waiting a few seconds, no answer followed. Aaron decided that maybe he was too busy to answer the door, so he opened it up and peaked inside. No one was there.

"Well that's dodgy," he muttered, and turned away from his office. Where was he supposed to check next? Heck, the doc could be anywhere! Aaron held his chin in his hand as he thought. It's not lunch time, so he probably wouldn't be in the cafeteria. Maybe he was on break or something. That would be the next place to check; the break room.

Aaron grumbled under his breath. That was not what he signed up for; to run around the hospital looking for people whom he could not identify. Throughout the whole journey to the break room, he did not stop talking to himself in a hush-hush tone. Upon reaching the break room door, he practically threw it off its hinges when opening it.

There was a dark haired man sitting on one of the chairs in the room. He looked young, like Aaron himself, if not a bit older. "Are you Dr. Chiuchiarelli? If so, then you gave me hell by trying to find you!" If this were some cartoon, Aaron was sure there'd be steam coming out of his ears, and his eyes would be lit with flames. If this man wasn't the doc, then there would be murder.

Of course someone would barge into his peace. It was inevitable.

And sometimes little things can just easily set off the easy going Aussie.

At first, the doctor's intentions didn't register in Aaron's brain. So he replied in the normal, monotone 'I'm bored so I don't give a damn' tone. "I'm just following orders sir, as I'm new and not really allowed to do much more." He was just about to turn out of the room and forget about the doctor, but then his words made a click in his brain. A sudden click that made the Kiwi's shoulders twitch noticeably.

'Sheila,' that was the word for girl. At least that's what Aaron's heard from some Australian tourists back home in New Zealand. This doctor.. he honestly didn't think that the Kiwi was a girl? Oh hell no! In his opinion, he practically radiated manliness! Who was this doctor to come around and call him female!? This was not going to pass over smoothly.

Furious, Aaron turned around to face the doc. "Just who do you think you are, calling me a woman?" He walked over to the man, shoved him, then grabbed him by the collar of his medical garb. "I am one hundred percent male, thank you very much! You must be pretty blind of a man to think I'm a girl! I don't even have knockers! Do I need to bend over and show you I'll all man! ...Actually I wouldn't do that last part. But still, how did my voice -MY DEEP, MASCULINE VOICE- not turn off your horniness, huh?!?"

The Kiwi was close to punching the Pakeha in the face. Aaron was so mad, the swears escaped from his lips as he talked. He shook the doctor once again, spitting in his face as he asked his next question. "Well, why the firetruck did you think I was a girl?"

((So Aaron has a DEEP, MASCULINE, VOICE, now. xDDD))

Right when Daniel thought the lovely nurse was about to leave, she - well it turns out he - whips back around, with an expression that looked like he was ready to kill.

Aaron rolled his eyes at the doctor. Was that the best come back the man could come up with? Rejecting that he wasn't a 'dirty wanker' then pushing him back? The push wasn't even strong. "What a sook," he thought. But still, this man was a bit prejudiced. Males could be nurses too! Hell, he was an awesome nurse, and brought masculinity to the job! Male nurses were sure to be the next big thing.

"Hey, even nurses can be male. Next time don't just assume otherwise because I'm not wearing a skirt. And I was only mad because I've been teased before about being a nurse and a guy," Aaron tried to reason with the man. The doc's last question made him regret being angered. Well not really, but regretting him shoving the bloke. After all, he could get him fired; that would not be good.

Seeing no other reason to be in the room with the doctor, Aaron turned around again heading for the door. He tried to compress the anger that still bubbled in his head. Once again, feeling the need to correct something that bothered him earlier, he turned around and leaned against the door. "You know mate, that shove you gave me was pretty weak. You must've been shoving with your hands, not your biceps. Shove with the strength in your upper arms. Also work on your scowl, it tends to intimate people more

Daniel stared at the nurse with disbelief.

He didn't expect him to calm down - or at least try to - so quickly. Well not really calm down, but at least he didn

"Hm?" Aaron looked back over at the doctor. He was surprised the doctor wanted to know his name. After all, they were trying to kill each other just minutes before. Perhaps he was only trying to be friendly? It made him raise an eyebrow. After all, by the accent the there man carried, he was definitely Australian. Being from New Zealand, he knew about the hatred that burned between the two island nations.

"Oh, my name is McQueen, Aaron McQueen," he stated proudly. Aaron was always fond of his name, it had a... regal sound to it. Yeah, regal, that was it! All royal and awesome sounding; an example of perfect manly-tude.

It was then that Aaron looked over his shoulder out the door. He really didn't want to go back to working, now that he was here in the break room. Whenever he entered the room, he just wanted to relax. Plus, his mentor nurse wouldn't be very happy with him being even more late returning than he already was. So if he was already going to be in trouble, there should be no more harm in relaxing, yes?

So, what better way to waste time than to try and befriend this guy. After all, they both apparently came from the oceanic nations. The two were guys, and by what Aaron had observed, they were both proud of their masculinity. Something to bond over maybe? It was a nice, even a bit, refreshing, change to the constant waves of femininity with the other nurses. Yes, being friends with the doctor would seem nice. But was it possible? Only one way to find out; besides, he had to ask the doctor something that was on his mind ever since he heard rumors about Australians from one of his older brothers.

"You're from Australia, right?" Aaron asked as he seated himself in one of the comfortable chairs in the room. He set his legs on the coffee table in front of him, and let one hand lay limp across his torso, the other he rested his chin on the palm. "If so," he continued, "Then you should really answer this, because I've been curious about the answer for so long. You see, I'm from New Zealand, and I've heard a rumor that Australians watch koalas do... well... intimate things for entertainment. Is that true?"

((I COULDN'T RESIST ADDING THAT, I'M SORRY!))

Aaron McQueen was it? It wasn

Aaron was appalled, not to mention enraged. Did this Aussie accuse him of bestiality? Then again, Aaron did the same thing, but it's different if the question is directed towards him! The kiwi clenched his fists, glaring daggers at Daniel. His lip curled back as if he were a dog, his anger instantly reignited. He didn't know the Australian was joking, missing the chuckle that followed the question completely.

"I DO NOT SHAG SHEEP!" As he stood up, Aaron accidentally knocked over the chair he sat on. He swore, if he could, he'd punch the living daylights out of the doc. Shoving him was one thing, but punching him senseless was another. Another that he could be sued for: not something his family would want to hear about.

"That's just ridiculous. Sure, we love sheep, but not to that extent! Sheep's wool is just valuable, not to mention warm. Never would we do such a thing! The only thing I've shagged my life time is this fine looking sheila off by the shores. A fine surfer she was." He was faking about the girl he shagged. Unfortunately, Aaron was still a virgin, which he saw as something embarrassing --even if his family saw that as a good thing. Boys at his college often teased him for not scoring a fine little chick, so he now lied about who he slept with. As long Daniel didn't find out, he was safe.

Feeling awkward, Aaron set the chair back in its place and sat down in it again. "Sorry 'bout that," he grumbled the apology, "It's a touchy subject. A lot of tourists ask us that when they visit my country."
