So more Agito news in a recent Famitsu interview, this time on the multiplayer.

"In a Famitsu interview with Hajime Tabata, Final Fantasy Agito XIII will feature a new type of multiplayer which is completely unique to Agito XIII.

Quote: Hajime Tabata in Famitsu

Don't expect the kind of popular style of multiplayer where everyone gathers to play.

Tabata is most likely referring to popular games such as Monster Hunter, which the most recent version was just released in Japan with insane first week sales.

As for Agito itself, Tabata also added that "It's becoming an intense experience where you do gun shooting with fire."

Famitsu says that more details on Agito will gradually be released starting with the Fabula Nova Crystallis Conference, which happens on Jaunary 11, 2011. Versus XIII is also scheduled to get its full reveal at this event as well."

So to sum it all up, Agito's multiplayer is going to belike nothing we've ever seen before. Discuss.

Wow, that sounds really interesting. Thanks for the update on this Baylaust, really appreciate it. multiplayer is going to be different huh? that sounds really exciting to hear. And it's about time we get to see a full view of versus XIII, that last trailer they showed when Noctis was fighting the Behemoth didn't show that much gameplay of Noctis, so i can't wait to see what they will show on Versus XIII next month.
