Sony has announced the release date for Infamous 2. The game will ship in North America on Jun. 7, 2011.
Additionally, Sony confirmed the Infamous 2 Hero Edition will be released the same day for $99. It includes a 8.5" Cole MacGrath statue, a sling pack modeled after Cole's in-game gear, the Infamous #1 mini comic from DC Comics, game soundtrack, and a voucher code for a collection of in-game content.
The voucher code content will give you a Kessler skin, 24K Gold Amp, Electrocution Grenade Power, and Lightning Hook Power. These items are also available as retailer-exclusive pre-order items at Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and Walmart should you wish to forgo purchasing the Hero edition. A digital copy of the game soundtrack is made available as a pre-order bonus at participating retailers.
