She's always wanted to be a WWE female wrestler and now her moment has come after overcoming many nearly impossible hardships. She's fought to get noticed and recognized, to let her shout to WWE be heard...

Alex tried hard not to get worked up as she sat anxiously in the locker room of the backstage arena, tugging at her sleeves gently. From her she could hear the crowds cheering, chanting for their wrestlers to come out as the Monday Night Raw kick off to a upbeat start. Tonight was her first night, not only being aired on National TV, but also being introduced into the WWE world of professional wrestling as her very own character; Sophia. It had taken months to prepare her stirrings with Stephanie McMahon just to make sure everything was planned accordingly. The entrance had to be just right and Alex had endured much rehearsing for this moment (Stephanie wanted her to get this right first time around, any slip ups would mess up her image and development for sure). Even still, nausea was already churning in her stomach.

 

"You alright?" The blond flicked her hazel eyes up to the one and only, Randy Orton who was still out of character and smiling warmly. He knew how tough this was going to be for her. Alex was pretty sure that the others on the show tonight weren't even aware of who exactly she was other than that she was a new recruit. Alex nodded, looking nervously again and taking a deep breath. Just don't firetruck up and you'll be fine...

CM Punk came backstage to congratulate her. "You were phenominal out there Sophia," he approved. Alex still wanted him to call her by her real name since the cameras weren't on them at this point but getting applauded by Punk was still setting so much joy and excitement in her. "Thanks," she simply replied as she continued to pet Mania. She wanted to say more but didn't know what else to say. "You're really getting good at this," Punk replied. "And in such a short time." Alex smiled up at him. It seemed that she was blushing again though she couldn't see it herself but Punk could see this. But he didn't mind. He was starting to feel somewhat attracted to Alex though he'd never admit it at the moment. He started petting Mania on his head. Mania seemed to like him.

Alex noted from behind her closed lids the shift of pressure on the couch and Mania's increased purring. Phil was clearly sitting next to her. Oddly, now that she was tired out, she was much calmer. The butterflies in her stomach weren't even fluttering as much. Instead, the blond calmly replied back with a soft comment, brushing against Phil's fingers accidentally while petting Mania.

 

"Phil, you know I've been telling you to call me Alex. Sophia isn't my name after all."

"Alright then," Phil Brooks replied. "Just was uncertain is all. But now that I know I'll make sure to call you Alex off set." Alex simply smiled. She hated the fact that she didn't know what to say. It was as if there was so much to mention but she couldn't find the words. "Thanks," she managed to finally say. "I hope to work with you alot more often," Phil replied. "You really do have potential and I wasn't just saying that because I was on camera. I don't know but there is something about you that just strikes interest in me." Alex blused. Really? Phil thought that? Alex thought that it might have just been an act but he really meant it. The one that she had interest in had interest in her. It just seemed like a dream come true.

"Interest? C'mon, there's a ton of better WWE female wrestlers than me." Alex said, scoffing slightly to hide the blushforning on her cheeks. It was true; she was sure she didn't half as much of the talent that the Divas had nor did age think she ever would. But it was still incredibly sweet to hear Phil say so about her. After all, he was her current heart ache and not many got into that position being Jake had taught her not to go soft to easily. Fat lot that did when she met Phil Brooks. Even still, it was worth the feeling of liking towards him. Plus, he said he was interested in her. Maybe not romantically but at least she had caught his eye.
