Alrighty so we're going to re-do the CYKAS RP over from page 44 and on since it was really just taking a completely wrong turn genre wise ^^' What with all the dark depressing Shiz. So I'll just pick off from Lailex looking for Belyxsh so she can spend her birthday with him.

Lailex sighed venturing down the crisp, white halls of the base. After waing up in a good mood, she figured her day would be even better once Bel and her hung out together. She didn't care that Xeno wasn't about to sacrifice a measly 24 hours to him, it was Bel's choice, not his.

 

So after humming a chipper tune, dressed in her casual clothing, the (oh firetruck what color was her hair?!) teal haired female knocked a few beats on Bel's door, rocking back and forth on her heels. She'd be lying if she said she wasn't excited.

((Wait, is this the Xeno part? Yes, right?))

((Yep))

((Ok))

 

Belyxsh could hear footsteps outside, though just barely. (He was a master of soundwaves, after all.) It'd be... awkward if she were to walk in on them like this. Belyxsh quickly shoved Xeno's shoulders, trying to push him off. "I think it's been enough," Belyxsh said frantically. "You can get off now."

 

Xeno, defiant, barely broke apart, Belyxsh's legs still in his grasp, yet his face not as close. "Huh? Already?"

 

"Whaddaya mean 'already'?! We've been at it for hours!" He looked around, realizing that he was stalling himself. "And besides, someone is coming!"

((That last line made me laugh ))

 

Lailex came to Belyxsh's door, quite chipper really, and knocked in a catchy rhythm. She never did that. Her blue hair swayed back and forth as she waited, all thoughts crossing her mind as to what she and Bel would do when they hung out today. As she waited though she found to be greeted by silence and, concerned, she knocked again.

 

"Bel?" No response. Furrowing her brow, Lailex carefully pushed open the white door, peeking her head in. "Everything okay--oh." Immediately her cheeks flushed red as she saw Xeno on top of a very distraught Belyxsh. Well that was embarrassing. Lailex's first instinct was to run but instead she kind of faked a smile, stumbling her way through an apology.

 

"Ah? M-my bad, I'll just-um-...yeah."

Belyxsh was more embarrassed than she was, stuttering a bit. "U-uh... Yeah." He stammered, watching as she left. He gave an irritated sigh, rolling his eyes at Xeno. "Didn't I tell you to get off?" He asked, using the awkward opportunity to maneuver under his arm and grab his pants.

 

"...Sorry." He apologized, kissing Belyxsh's hand sweetly.

Lailex sighed, slumping against the wall gently as she walked, slightly disappointed. Judging by Xeno and his behavior the previous night she should have known the onyx haired Nobkdy would try to keep Belyxsh to himself. No shocker there. As she stepped one foot in front of the other delicately, balancing with her toes on the even floor. It wasn't really a surprise they were together, she had known that much. But, I guess...seeing them in the act per say was a bit more...different.

 

"This sucks..." She muttered, shoving her hands in her pockets as she mindlessly walked into the Round Room, blatantly ignoring Zexion's sputter of disapproval as she accidentally bump into him and sat down, ignoring Saix's close to death glare.

Zexion eyed Lailex carefully, noticing she was...different. Er, well, more different than usual. (She was 'different' normally. As much as an oxymoron as that was....) He sighed, debating whether he should actually care about her or not. But his curiosity got the better of him.

 

"Are you okay? You seem a bit... Off."

Lailex looked up at the slate haired teen, an eyebrow raised. She and Zexion ha been friends before they had become Nobody's but now, well, now she wasn't so sure. It was odd for the usually nonchalant male to take interest in anybodys life (aside from Demyx's). She chewed her lip, sighing.

 

"Reality is a bitch, did you know that? Just when you think everything is fine it turns around and slaps you out of your dreams." Lailex started, moving over to make room for Zexion on the couch, arms crossed.

He took the hint, setting himself beside Lailex, though a bit reluctant to whether he'd feel like listening to this full story or not. He went along with it for now, closing his Lexicon and turning to her. "I see," He replied, reclining back a bit for a better comfort level. "How so? Something happened with that idiot, didn't it?"

Lailex scoffed, leaning back into the cushions and crossing her arms.

 

"Yeah, you could say that. Though it depends which one you're talking about." Of course the blunette knew Belyxsh wasn't an idiot, no, definitely not. But a bit oblivious...yes. She sighed, looking over at Zexion in dismay. A smile threatened to twitch at er lips. How long had it been since they'd actualy had a normal conversation without bitterness or competition? She sigh again.

 

"I walked in on Belyxsh having sex with Xeno. And Xeno knew I was planning to spend the day with him for my birthday so he purposely took advantage of Bel..."

Zexion raised an eyebrow from under his fringe. "You're sure he knew about it? You're sure he meant to take advantage of him?" It was true -- Xeno didn't necessarily like Lailex. He wanted Belyxsh all to himself, and it was plain as day to anyone as of now. Doing it on purpose to upset her was... A little harsh. Not unbelievable, but definitely shallow. Zexion couldn't say he didn't pity her.

"Positive. Xeno...he just doesn't want Belyxsh to associate with me I guess. I'm sure he did it on purpose." Lailex stated, absolutely sure on what she was saying. It was clear from the minute Xeno had come to rescue them on that mission that he didn't like Lailex to much. And after breakfast that day he obviously wasn't going to let Lailex have her way. She sigh in defeat, pouting slightly.

 

"I have no idea what to do. I'm not going to make Belyxsh choose but it's not as though he isnt being annoyingly oblivious." She frowned. "He hadn't even bothered to say anything."

"Well," Zexion thought for a moment, not really all that educated on giving advice. And when he did give it, it was usually bleak and negative. "Besides showing him that you're jealous of him because he's taking up all of Bel's time, at least make an effort to hide it. If he sees that you're confident and keep on trying to make plans with him besides being resentful, he'll eventually stop trying to be so protective of him altogether."

Lailex thought for a moment, her mind processing what Zexion had said. Surprisingly, it 1.)made sense and 2.) wasn't something she couldn't do. Xeno would have to let up sometime right? It's not as if he won't ever get tired of Belyxsh (even she did once or twice). So she nodded, a smile gracing her features.

 

"That...actually helps. Thank you Zexy~"

Zexion scoffed, opening up his Lexicon once again. He resumed his reading, glancing over at Lailex briefly. "Don't mention it," he replied before pinning a piece of hair behind his ear.

She smiled, an odd warmth forming in the pit if her stomach. It was different from the feeling of affection she felt around Belyxsh. Yes, she had a recognition of this feeling from when she ha associated with Ienzo as a Somebody; when they both hadn't been Nobodies. When they had been friends. Taking a moment to think, she looked over at Zexion again, a smile still somewhat lingering on her lips.

 

"Whatever happened Zexion?"

Zexion raised an eyebrow, turning back to her with a normal frown. "Pardon?" He asked, not getting the full meaning of her question. What did she mean 'whatever happened'? She really needed to learn how to get specific.

 

Honestly, was she really like this all the time? She knew that Nobodies didn't have hearts, didn't she? Then why waste her emotions at all? Same with Belyxsh. (And secretly Demyx.)

Lailex shook her head, leaning forward a bit with a heavy sigh, her brow crinkled slightly in concentration as if trying to remember something long since lost. Her nails clicked together as she tried to find a way to word her answer before speaking it (she was always told to think before she spoke). Besides, she didn't want to ruin the somewhat pleasant moment.

 

"I mean, what happened to...you? Before we had been friends and now it seems as though that's all gone. The friendship, the laughs, everything. I know we're Nobodies but I don't think that should be stopping emotions since we have no heart. I thinks that's only an excuse Xemnas made. So what happened to you...Ienzo?"

Zexion thought for a moment, closing his Lexicon once again. He just knew that this would result in an argument or a big discussion or something. "I don't know for sure," He said honestly, unable to come up with another retort. "People just change. Understand?"

To be honest, Lailex didn't understand at all. She knew better then to question him though. She had known Zexion long enough to know when he didn't really want to discuss certain matters. So she pushed even more, pouting slightly.

 

"Not really. You know you've always been a bit smarter than me. I don't get it. The only change I see is you got a bit taller." Lailex admitted, half teasing, half completely serious. She was tired of Zexion's fortune cookie answers...

Zexion twitched in irritation. He hated it when people brought up his height. "Don't try to contradict me. Isn't there other things you should be concerning yourself with besides me?" He asked, his brow furrowing. He was slightly bristled now, growing impatient with her.

Lailex blinked. See, this is what she's talking about! Zexion never used to grow this impatient or mean, to be blunt. Ienzo wasn't exactly kind but he was nicer than this...Lailex frowned, pulling his Lexicon out of his lap and out of his reach. She was completely serious now.

 

"See? This is what I mean. When did you get like this? You weren't this big of..." She calmed herself. "At te moment, Bel's busy. So no, the only thing I have to concern myself with is you at the moment."

Just as Zexion opened his mouth to speak, but before he could get his word in, Belyxsh had cut him off with his noticable voice. "Hey!" He called from across the room, running over to Lailex specifically. Zexion looked over, growing a bit uneasy.

Lailex looked up at Belyxsh, her slight scowl lessening. Her blush returned slightly but she didn't let her disappointment from earlier. Instea she returned the greeting simply, trying to act a bit leinient.

 

"Oh, hey Bel...What's up?" She asked in response, giving Zexion a "don't-say-anything" look.

Zexion didn't have the intention of saying anything (though it'd be nice if he got his Lexicon back...). He just waited patiently (for once) and watched. Bel, his shirt inside-out, smiled back, a bit embarrassed. "Uh," He began, searching for the right way to say this. "S-Sorry about... y'know."
