PSN Users, Cancel Your Credit Cards [Obsolete Post]

Posted

sony f*cked up massively. a hacker was able to saunter in and take all personal info from EVERY PSN USER ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, and it took sony a week to actually tell people.

so if your PSN password is the same as your email accounts, change it, as they could access it.

and you should cancel the credit card which you used for PSN.

sony are working to getting it fixed, but they're saying it still might take a week, so it's strongly reccomended that you do what i said above

hey quick question has anybody done the recent update, I saw it but was worried that it was the whole hacker thing because sony didn't send me an email, has anyone tried it out?

People have been reporting problems with it, but I haven't had any issues. All it really is is something that makes you change your PSN password, which is required to get back on PSN.

So are you saying that when I do the update it will let me get on psn?

Yeah, but first it will ask you to change your password.

I'm fine with that just so excited for psn to be back
