Hideki Konno is focusing his time and energy on Mario Kart 3D. He’s not spilling the beans just yet, but says that Nintendo really wants to “bring a bunch of new elements into the game.” But he also says that “perhaps we’ll be able to talk in more detail at this year’s E3 event." So that possibly means that there may be new features/items that will be added into the game. What do you think?

thats good, recently the only differences between mario kart games are graphics, tracks, and possibly a new power-up or 2

Thats cool. If some AR is applied, it would be better! =D

Should be a good game

Mario Kart 3DS? Awesome :D I didn't even know about this, so is there an estimated release date yet?

@FireStorm 162

2011, I believe that is the most that is know about the release date.

I can't wait to see what they add, but please remove that thunder cloud. There is no end to the eternal terrors and punishment that horrid curse can bestow.

*Okay, that was a little bit of an exaggeration, but I truly despise that danged thunder cloud!

To be honest, I was quite content with just 3D being added to Mario Kart and new courses and that being enough in terms of new elements to make me enjoy it, but even more's great. The more the merrier! I am rather curious as to what they could possibly be though.

Was confirmed by Nintendo that they'll be getting it out in 2011.
