My Final Mysterious Figure Theory

Posted

(I placed this thread in DDD because of his future possibilities)

I haven't played this game in quite some time, but my interest in this amazing character dumbfounds me everyday.

I've been searching for clues since the first time I fought him, but all theories eventually fall apart. The clues we have aren't exactly enough. Obvious clues are the ethereal blades, but the existence of Xemnas in this game makes no sense. I've heard that the Mysterious Figure doesn't appear in the BBS storyline, practically leaving Organization XIII, and Xion, unless the scene from 358/2 Days counts in the Blank Points trailer, which would also exclude Roxas and Axel from the possible suspect list.

Time travel has also been a big issue for debate. Although so many neglect this possibility, MF uses time travel in the fight, proving it as a possibility. The true question is, how far back can MF traverse time? He only uses it when you attack him too much with the Keyblade, allowing him to regain some HP.

(Gotta go...To be continued...)

I have a theory.

In BBS secret video the old Xehanort tells Terra that he is just one of the many roads he would choose to take. So perhaps the Mysterious Figure is a fouth Xehanort. Each one has some special power, one could control nothingness, the other heartless.

Perhaps this Fourth Xehanort can control time. In the final mix secret video of Birth by sleep we see Sora sitting on his tree, then in an instant he disappears. We then encounter the same thing with ventus sitting in his chair in castle oblivion. If I'm right the mysterious figure could be travelling through time to "erase" Sora and Ventus, thus removing them from the picture and allowing the old Xehanort future plans to come to fruition.

In Short, the Mysterious figure is a fourth Xehanort that can control and travel though time so he can erase anyone who would get in the way of the old Xehanorts plan in the future.

It's a long shot, but still.

So in the end, MF is someone we know, which is opposite of what Nomura said.

No. The scene in the secret ending is just for show, it doesn't mean anything.

when Xehanort meant many roads he was possibly talking about Riku. (Thinking back on KH1). But MF..... I guess we'll have to wait til KH3 or DDD or maybe BBSV2. He was a difficult boss to beat hopefully he'll stay as a challenge when he returns.

So in the end, MF is someone we know, which is opposite of what Nomura said.

No he's not, he another half of Xehanort that will probably have much to do with the new enemy type.

Care to cite a source? It would be the first secret ending to a Kingdom hearts game that has no factual relevance to a future game.

I wasn't talking about the whole secret ending, just the part where Sora and Ven dissappear. It's like in the original BBS secret ending where it shows Terra, Aqua, and Ven picking up the Kingdom Key, Kingdom Key D, and Way to Dawn Keyblades. It didn't actually happen, and was just for show.

Yet this sounds so contradicting.

Can you prove it was just for show?

Explain.

Common sense. Aqua is the only one who can get to Ven and she's stuck in the RoD so Ven is stuck in CO. The only place Sora is going is Yen Sid's tower for the MoM exam. Also, we don't know if MF can actually travel through time, as Nomura stated that the fight in BBS isn't canon. MF is, but not the fight between Aqua, Ven, and Terra. Plus, as Rob said, he is someone we don't know, not another form of Xehanort.

Common sense.

Common sense isn't a cited source and therefore cannot be counted as fact. You're just making wild guesses and drawing your own conclusions about the secret ending movie's meaning, just as me and everyone else in this thread is doing. The fact of the matter is you cant prove me wrong and I can't prove you wrong; just saying, your theory like mine isn't fact.

Aqua is the only one who can get to Ven and she's stuck in the RoD so Ven is stuck in CO.

If the Mysterious figure can control time he could simply go back prior to Ven being put in Castle Oblivion, no?

The only place Sora is going is Yen Sid's tower for the MoM exam.

Perhaps the reason Sora and Riku are dressed in their Kingdom Hearts 1 attire is because the mysterious figure is distorting time. Perhaps the mysterious figures plans WILL be Sora and Riku's mark of mastery exam.

Also, we don't know if MF can actually travel through time, as Nomura stated that the fight in BBS isn't canon.

I know, that's why it's a theory and not fact.

he is someone we don't know, not another form of Xehanort.

By that logic, Roxas and Xion where not new characters either.
