The careful breeze swept across the campus courtyard, the perfectly cut, emerald strands of grass bending obediently to the coy notion. It snuck around the trimmed bushes and festering roots sticking out near the stalks of high oak trees and weaves it's way around the small, ornate statues placed decoratively around the perimeter. The cold chill crept around as it pleased, free to roam however it wished. It left goosebumps in the wake of nearly bare legs and shoulders of teenage humans walking about in close groups huddling together as they all walked down one main path. They were students; students to the building in which the curious winds found as a blockade to it's wandering ways. Despite the cold weather that came with it being about mid-October the female students traveling down the main path still wore their assigned, black plaid skirts - leaving the flesh of their legs open for the bitter bite of an approaching Winter. The male population (or at least most of them unaware of the term common sense) were given the same consequences on their arms as they had their maroon blazer tied around their waist or slung over their shoulder, the white, short sleeved dress-shirt doing little to prevent from stinging weather as well. It was at this point they wished they had been smart like the other teenage boy's that actually cared about their health, and had worn their jacket too.

Slipping in-between their walking legs, the persistent gust of wind brushed against the fallen Autumn leaves of the season, moving them in a golden and flushed crimson flurry. They gave little spirals and twisted like gymnasts in the air, sometimes giving off the playful thought that could indeed be playing an acrobatic game of tag. As the leaves played along with the wishes of the invisible force blowing them though, some found their little game of chase put to a halt by two, moderately high pillars supporting a thick block of wood. The sign was professionally painted and smoothed of it's imperfections, shimmering paint of an inky black color filling in the cursive carving that read Miss Anne's School For Potential Young Ladies and Gentlemen. And just a few feet away from that was a skeptical form.

Elizabeth Parker's sapphire blue eyes narrowed in doubt as she read the words of the sign clearing broadcasting that the area past that point, the campus, the building, and whatever lay beyond that was part of this new prestigious school she had been assigned to courtesy of her father. If she hadn't known any better, she would have thought this was a sort of scam to give her father another reason to display punishment. Yet she was so far being proved wrong. Elizabeth sported the same uniform as those just a few feet ahead of her that were trying to get into their academy-like school by squishing last one another into the double doors. Perhaps a single file line would have worked better...

The black skirt sat on her hips and rested just above her knees where just a few inches down, at the start of her upper calves, a pair of thin, white socks warmed just a bit of her legs. On her torso area, a well fitted, white, short sleeved jumper was layered neatly with the signature maroon blazer on top, buttoned. Long, ash blond hair cascaded down to the small of her back like a wavy waterfall, her choppy straight across bangs pinned back with a thick black headband to expose her forehead.

Elizabeth's hands clenched tightly around the strap to her white messenger bag that was slung diagonally across her form, heavy with the books she had gotten for this private school. Taking a deep breath, she began her shaky tread down the cement path to the polished, granite steps where everyone was slowly diminishing from.

"So this...this is my first day?" Elizabeth murmured, her voice barely a whisper - another thing that the wind took with it as it continued on it's oh-so-curious maze around the space.

(Whoa. That was...a lot even for me xD I hope that was good enough~)
