Blah, blah, blah.

TBH, this doesn’t look very professional. The text is bland, it gets in the way, and it looks like you didn't use any type of spelling+grammar check (as pointed out by the errors I listed). It's pretty vague and uninteresting, as it lacks any emotional value and just looks like any other lazy GMV.

1/10, for trying.

Oh and @1:23 there’s a Youtube.com/TheShatteredElement link roflmao.

hey judge mentel i got dyslexia so i bound to mess up with spelling a few times even when i use spell check and i always use there instead of their its just the way i am and if ya dont know what dyslexia is well then time for you to get a dictionary and look it up owe and the text i used the place i put it and not using any effects was to show you dont need effects when it comes to a story of sorrow and the shatteredelement thing well im not perfect i cant get ride of every little thing and shatteredlement is the youtube channel i downloaded my ff13 clips because unlike in america here in ireland the amount of stuff we can download a month is limited to a very low number so couldnt get them anywhere but youtube and u must have no heart if you think theres no emotion i based that story around a plot i heard in real life a cereal killer killing loved ones that ruined peoples lifes causing nothing but pain

Dyslexia my ass. Alright, you can have it, that is perfectly fine. That doesn't mean you have any right to blame your spelling on something that should have been spell checked anyways on your firetrucking disorder. Of course I know what it is, who do you think I am Jerkface?

OK, just because this is a 'raw' video doesn't mean you can't just be a lazy editor. You can make the text flow just fine without using any effects. It's called placing it not in the middle of the firetrucking video, finding the right font and color, and turning up/down the opacity to which level you see fit, then the fitting transition. Then you have to do that with the rest of the clips. Here, I'll give you something positive: The start of the video isn't that bad. Yes, it still lacks some transitioning, but the flow is decent at best. It all seems to go downhill from there.

I still see it as you being lazy, as you're pretty much blaming everything on something else that you could easily overcome instead of taking in the criticism that I have laid out for you. Good job, it just makes you seem like more of a douche.

True, dyslexia is difficult to cope with but it should never be an excuse in a final product. If someone wants something to look good they should check grammar and spelling regardless. For AMV tournaments yeah effects might not be the necessary but a few can show the mood and tone of your video and make the viewer more interested. As for spelling and grammatical errors those can drive away the judges and viewers, and it doesn't matter whether or not you're dyslexic or not. Even if you have it you still need to take spelling and grammar into consideration if you want to be successful and have less feedback about it. If you're unsure about it then have someone be a beta tester for your videos to help correct your mistakes.

Also, in a video what some editors mean by tell a story doesn't necessarily mean it has words within the video. A good editor could be able to tell a story through their work without having to write it all out. Yes, your story has a very good idea behind it but if you're able to take that idea and turn it into a video that requires no words involved but shows the story throughout the video that is what judges in competitions generally are looking for. Not text put on top of a video. If you have a problem with spelling and grammar (and once again it doesn't matter if you're dyslexic or not) then perhaps try that approach at telling a story. If you're still unsure about your video you can always provide a description that backs up your story.

Since Venny and Kaiso pretty much said everything I was gonna say, I'll just point this out:

If you have dyslexia, how come you didn't just ask someone who doesn't have it to look over your spelling (and grammar) before putting it in the video?

first off i wasnt being lazy and im not a lazy editor dont beleave me check out my channel shore i havent made a full video since my riku bolavard of broken dreams but since that video ive been working on my skills pushing myself in my real videos to use the effects were i see fit but this was alone the second video i had to stick to one theme for a video so i wasnt going to work with effects and text and slides and flashs if i didnt think they would work

i can take it its just the way some people put it i've seen some of the vids -Ventus- has made so i dont know how she can talk about my vids and what im finding annoying here how people here are posting about my dyslexia talking like they know what it is but they dont you really cant understand what it is

Okay, first of all, you completely ignored Kaiso's post which had some very good and nicely put constructive criticism. Venny put it okay, just very blunt, not rude at all.

Also if you've seen her videos, then you would know that Venny is in fact a very talented editor and knows what she's talking about, the same with the rest of us. All experienced with Sony Vegas too.

Just take the crit and apply it. Don't blame anything, just accept it.
