This is a 1 x 1 RP with Belyxsh - this time featuring Big Windup! and it's ever lovable characters of Abe and Mihashi. Abe will be played by yours truly while Mihashi will be the oh-so-lovely and skilled Belyxsh. Hopefully you enjoy it~! Belyxsh shall start us off. Let's do this.

Mihashi gave an audible gulp as he scaled the baseball field of his new school nervously. It degraded him even more that he'd have to pitch on foreign territory where people didn't know a thing about him than somewhere where they already knew he was terrible. He'd have to make another first impression to a group of people who might not even like him... It was too much pressure for his poor, weak heart.

Abe sighed, wiping a few delicate beads of sweat off his brow as he switched into his practice uniform for the morning rounds around the baseball diamond. His hair stuck slightly to his forehead from the summer heat but despite the intense weather he up and ready for the summer training that was to come for these three months until the start of the new school year. His eyes narrowed as he caught sight of the team that he was to be working with and analyzed them, slowing his jog to a fast walk. He hoped among these guys was a sufficient pitcher. Being a catcher was hard when the decent player he was to be paired with wouldn't comply to anything...

Momoe checked the list of players and let out a sigh. They needed a pitcher, but as far as they knew, no one else qualified to be one. She looked around casually, noticing a new face strolling by the sidelines. Smiling, she approached, looking bold as ever, making sure to carry her clipboard with her. "Hey! You there!" Mihashi, who was previously lost in thought, jumped up, turning in the direction of the voice that called out to him.

 

"Wh-Wha...? M-Me?" He asked, flustered as she stood in his view, towering over him in what looked like a baseball uniform. Looking past her, he noticed a group of players also in uniform... OhshitOhshitOhshit!

"Yeah, you! Do you play?" Mihashi took in a small, sharp breath. He wanted to say no, but at the same time, he wanted to play more than anything, so-

"Uh... Y-Yeah,"

"Awesome!" She seemed excited, giving a big grin. "What position?"

"E-Erm... P-Pitcher..." He murmured, hoping that she wouldn't hear. But Momoe's hearing was like that of a hawk.

"That's great!! ♥ We needed a pitcher!" She pushed him into the circle of the team, with Mihashi protesting and struggling all the while.

Abe glanced over at the boy pushed into the circle of strangers all sporting a training uniform (which he was already wearing). He clearly looked uncomfortable to be in such a situation - his wide eyes flicking back and forth. He was a pitcher?

 

"Hard to believe..." Abe muttered to himself, looking the boy over but shrugging gently. Who was he to judge. "So you're a pitcher? Were you Ace on your other team?" He questioned dully, a few of the other team members glancing at him in mild curiosity. Couldn't a guy be curious after all?
