Useful Applications for phones

I'm trying to find them but I'm not sure what would be a good application. I found a few useful ones like a graphing calculator, formula list and one that can apparently do some word problems and solve system of equations. I also found 1 college textbook and a free wifi locator. The apps have to be free just like these are. Any recommendations?
