One of the first comics ever made was Action comics #1 which started comicbook superheros.Out of all the comics Dc line-up this one is changing most superman more of a loner,Has no earths parnets,is not dating Lois Lane and new design.If any writer could pull this off it would Grant Morrison who wrote best superman story 10 years with All-star Superman.So how does AC# 1 hold up you find out below.It will contain spoiler and Grant Morrison does great writer has whole not by single issues.
The issue starts off with Superman threating some bad folks.It's a different take on Superman he's not like he was in past DCU.Police come and try to take down superman but superman is holding Mr.Glenmorgan who is one of these folks.Superman little more scaier,he drops Mr.Glenmorgan to get info he wants out of him.Superman and police don't get along and Superman says threat people nice or i will visit you.Cops tell superman he's under arrest and superman shows off his powers and runs away from the police.The comic then goes to Mr.Lane and Lex Luthor who want to stop superman and are going up with a plan.Superman saves family from death with his super hearing then gets attack by a tank and other things.He stops tank and we see superma though as a hero.More trouble happens to Superman when police try to attack him again and Superman shows off his aller ego Clark Kent who is not reporter at daily planet but is working for there rival newspaper.We learn more about Clark Kent and how he is doing.After this we find out Jimmy Olsen his best friend is working with lois lane on a story.The train there on is about to crash but superman trys to safe it and does for the most part.We back to Lex Luthor and Mr.Lane where we get info on both of them and Lex tells that we will get Superman(oh ya he's already bald).
Closing Comments
Action Comics #1 is fulled with action and gets most of important Superman characters in the first issue but it does feel little fast and we doesn't get backround on all of things but it is good solid first issue that will probably read better as whole which Grant Morrsion work usually is.The art in this issue works with action well and looks fine,it does job need to do well.This issue does nothing wrong but it's not on level of all-star superman which is fine.If you like Superman you will properly enjoy this issueRemember this is different take on superman character.So i give
