Kojima's Fox Engine on PS3,Vita and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection Comes to Vita

Posted

After announcing the Metal Gear Solid HD collection and the Zone of the Enders HD Collection for PlayStation Vita, Video Game Guru Hideo Kojima talked about his new engine – Fox Engine. We saw the video game engine a bit at E3, but now we know that it'll be used for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita games. Kojima also talked a bit about Transfarring, which will allow users to take their save from device to device. On top of that, Kojima said he's developing a new game using the engine that "may take a while."

The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection is coming to a PS3 near you soon, but it's also coming to the PlayStation Vita in 2012. Metal Gear Mastermind Hideo Kojima took the stage at Sony's Tokyo Game Show conference and let the world know that the collection will be coming to the Vita in Japan and making use of cloud saves. Will it come to the U.S. and other territories? Time will tell – especially as the U.S. HD collection packs Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and the Japanese version doesn't
