One of my favorite new 52 issues in dc reboot was Animal man # 1 and was hoping that book could keep my it’s pace.Well...It’s weider and creepier than first issue but is still has great and well written at the 1st issue but might be little confusing and weird for some people.The art fits story well and adds to it.The story is great and keeps you invested in characters and keeps you on edge with the great writing.The cliff hanger is odd but still they already sold me on this series so cliff hanger still keeps looking forward next issues.Overall this is great 2nd issue for animal man and almost everything is done well each makes issue a must read if you liked 1st or want to try something new.

Action Comics # 2
I wasn’t biggest fan of Action Comics # 1 because comic moved to fast without getting anything done but AC# 2 does not move too fast at all.You could say not much happens but i disagree we get character development,future villains and how superman reacts to things.In my opinion this issue is so much better than 1st one and feels like he get more a story.The writing is good and does good job with character development.The art is nice with character designs and really can’t complaint. The story is good it mixes action with lex,torture and character development it all blends well.The cliff hanger is good but little too easy to know where story is going but still know am going to enjoy the ride.Action Comics # 2 is great issue and does a lot well and has a lot going for it.It does good job building ground for future issue without dragging down the comic.

Detective Comics # 2
Detective Comics # 2 is a lot better than the 1st issue because writing and story was better and the art still great especially on Batman.The story is good but feels little incomplete and villains are especially good but they do do the job.Its nice we get more Bruce Wayne but Bruce was done better in Batman # 1 than here not saying it was done bad here.The writing is best i have seen from Daniel’s and it’s smooth.The cliff hanger is not very shocking and properly will be what you think it is.Overall i enjoyed this issue it did have good mix between Batman and Bruce Wayne and both there stories were good.

Huntress # 1
The New DCU is seems of late wants to have female characters be all about sex and sex appeal which is dumb and shouldn’t happen in today’s comics but luckily Huntress#1 treats there main lead when and is kinda reads like pro woman book which isn’t what at all especially with book like Red hood and Catwoman.The art in this story is great especially on Helena and story is well told but feels like it ends too soon which leads to ok cliff-hanger. Overall this issue is great and it’s nice to see one of my favorite lady’s in dcu get good first issue mini series.

JLI is missing Ted Kord who was heart of first JLI series but this series is ok but it feels like team doesn’t mesh well. The art in book is good and feels like older good but still looks good.The story is ok and cool take to put of superhero book but wish moved little faster but it did some nice character pieces.The characters in this story range from good to meh with not all character development for all characters.We find out Skeets is still around which is great and Booster Gold is done well in the story.The cliff hangers works well...poorly and makes me care less about story going on and feels like wasting me time with this villain.Overall i found this issue was ok it does have problems a fair share of them but at same time there positives in here that still has what it takes to be a good book in time i just hope it gets chance to be a great book by then.

Penguin: Pain and Prejudice #1
I have never been Penguin fan but this comic might have changed things it shows penguin as such great complex character.The art in this issue reminds me of Arkham Asylum and that’s means it looks great.It’s weird when issue makes you feel sad and digested at character during one issue but this does it well.I am surprised by how much i liked this issue and it ends with cliff hanger where i want to see where it goes. To conclude i found this issue a amazing issue for someone i didn’t care about which is always nice thing to happen in comics.

Swamp thing # 2
It seems like we found my comic of the week here with the writing talents of Scott Snyder and the art of Yanick Maquette is thing of beauty and there nothing to complain about.Everything in this 2nd issue is done flawlessly the art adds great deal to atmosphere and story.The story is great and tells great deal of story in only 22 pages with good character development.The cliff-hanger makes me want to continue reading and i just can’t wait until the 3rd issue.If you have to pick only comic this week it should be swamp thing#2.

X-men:Schism # 5 out 5
The final of issue of Schism,the book that going to shape the new x-men stories is good but plays little safe and does fair bit of building up future X-men stories.The story in this issue good but feels short because of build-up for future stories and 11 pages of Cyclops fighting Wolverine which felt little long and took away from overall story because of length.The art at times looks really nice and helps story but at other times it drags you out of story.The writing is great everyone feels in character and what saying feels like what someone would be saying if they were there.The cliff-hanger does make me want to see what all of this pays off and where story’s for wolverine and cyclops go.Overall i did enjoy this issue even with my complaints against it does what he has to do and does it well and did with up to the hype which should keep fans happy like me.

TMNT # 2
I am sorry i am couple weeks late to this one but i still review this one.Comics doesn’t get whole alot story done but it’s still enjoyable and well written.The story with Casey Jones is good but feels little too long and April’s feels little too short.We also still what other Turtles are doing but didn’t find as good as i wanted it to be.The art is good but Turtles are look little weird but everything else is find.The characters are true to what they are and still put nice spin on things to feels fresh.The cliff hanger doesn’t work for me on this one it doesn’t make me want to go and but 3rd issue right now.Even with my problems this is still fine issue and good read if your a Turtles fan.
