The homecoming dance is next week, and I plan on going, but the problem is I don't have a date. Oddly enough, last night I get a text from my ex girlfriend asking me did I want to go to the dance with her. I'm still slightly attracted to her, even though we broke up, but she did something almost unforgivable to me and I can't get that off of my mind. It's like I want to forgive her and be friends, but at the same time I don't. I'm not sure if going with her is such a good idea, but right about now it's my only option. What should I do? Go with her, or just go by myself? I really don't want to go by myself because I'd feel like a loser, plus foreveralone.jpg, but if I go with her I feel that a lot of shit would start. CONFLICT.

What she did is a totally different story that deserves a different thread, don't feel like talking about it now. And I've had multiple girlfriends, because I got swag u jelly playa

Eh, it can't be that bad going alone. If you do, then you don't have to focus all your attention on one person--you can just have a good time hanging out with friends, and you can ask different girls to dance with you for each slow dance! I know how complicated it can get hanging out with an ex in such a setting, and I think it's best just to avoid it when you can. That's my experience, anyway. Besides that, I think it's more fun to be available to interact with lots of people, instead of just one person, especially if that one person really hurt you.

You could go with her but make it clear you're just going as 'friends'. It's on a trial basis to see if she's worth forgiving any time ever. But even if you can't forgive someone that doesn't mean you can't turn the other cheek and give them a chance. It may not coincide with your better judgement to just stay away from her and the trouble she brings, but if more trouble starts, then you can just feel even better about your decision to wash your hands of her completely. If she brings up more trouble, then maybe you'll stop being attracted to her.

Yeah I know what you're talking about. My ex-gf completely fuc$*d me over but she still wants to talk to me, so I act friendly towards her. I guess you could go with her, but then just not hang around with her at the actual dance. But it's really up to what you think.

just go alone because you will have alot fun
