Here's a novel I'm currently writing that I posted on dA (deviant art) and I wanted to share with y'all so you can read it as well. Hope you like it!!
I felt a light appear over me again, though it was bright and warm. Though it didn't feel inviting. The light go brighter and brighter and I pulled the covers up move over my eyes and tried to go back to sleep. "Come on Jason get up!" Jennifer picked up my pillow and started to hit me with it and I grabbed it in mid swing. "I'm up don't hit me anymore." I said with ignorance and got the pillow out of her hand. "Well you need to get up, if you don't you're not going to get ready in time for school." Jennifer said as she left the room. I groggily got up from my bed and tripped over my covers as I tried to gain balance. As I tried to walk down the hall, I heard a strange noise coming from my room as if something mysterious was coming out like in horror films. "I really need coffee." I said as I grabbed my head and walked down the hall.
Jennifer was already in the kitchen making her own self coffee when I walked in through the small door to my kitchen. "Tell me there's more please." I said yawning. "Yeah it's a fresh batch don't worry, I know you need your coffee or you won't do anything. I know that the hard way." Jennifer mumbled the last sentence to herself and I rolled my eyes with annoyance. She handed me a cup and I poured the fresh, warm coffee in my cup. "Mhmm pumpkin spice." I said and sipped it a little. "Mhmm yep that woke me up." I said with a smile and putting it down on the counter. "Do you want a bowl Jenny?" I asked taking out a bowl and she shook her head. "Nah I'm thinking of just taking an energy bar. I woke you up too late and we only got 30 minutes left and I need to do my hair, I'm thinking of a super style today." She said taking out an energy bar. "What today? Beehive or perm?" I chuckled and she slapped my back. "No! Like a famous girl." She hissed at me. "So wait …… you can take 30 minutes for a famous hair style …. Yet you won't help me find an anime hair style?" I asked her as she smiled and bit her energy bar. "Yep!" she laughed out of the kitchen and I heard the bathroom door close. "She can be such a real jack ass sometimes." I muttered to myself and drank more of my coffee.
After 30 minutes, and a lot of hair spray from Jenny (thanks for that I'm gonna smell like that all day), we finally were both ready for high school. "Jenny come on! You've buried yourself in hairspray and weird clothing, can't we leave and save some of the world that's left!" I shouted to her as she went through the small door to the kitchen. "Alright alright I got it lets just go!" She shouted back in annoyance and we both walked through the door. "Oh wait! I forgot my keys!" She ran back in and I groan in absolute anger. "Well hurry up! You need to get you're butt into gear!" I shouted to her as she made her way through the house to get her keys. She came back and we both jumped into the car and left the drive way. "At least were making it on time, yesterday we were almost late!" Jenny said happily but I just looked out the window and didn't listen. "Did you have another weird dream again?" She asked in a bland tone. "Yeah, but this time it was really different. Nothing like the others and its really annoying me, I can't get what happened out of my head." I said to her. "Wanna talk about it?" She asked in a upbeat tone, trying to cheer me up. "You hate this topic in anime." I said, trying for her to get off the subject. She made a weird face and frowned "You had a yaoi dream?" She asked, looking straight on the street. "Yep, it was a Death the kid and a Chrona dream, plus a Soul and Black Star dream." I shivered remembering what happened during the dream. "Soul Eater? Why just Soul Eater?" She asked turning into another street. "Yeah, you do know it's my favorite anime remember?" I asked her, finally looking at her face. "Duh, you draw Death the kid and Chrona all the time and you have their screen saver on your phone, laptop, and posters covering your room." She told me as if I was like a crazed fan girl. "Please, I'm talking to the girl who's the biggest Glee and Twilight fan on the planet." I gestured toward her and laughed. "At least I love real life shows and movies." She rebuttal back to me. I rolled my eyes and pushed her shoulder.
She pulled into the school's parking lot and pulled into the closest parking spot nearest to the front entrance and turned the car off. I grabbed my backpack from the bottom of my chair and opened my door. "See ya after school." I quickly said and jumped out the door. I walked off into the grass, which was wet with dew, and walked toward the main entrance. As my feet hit the pavement, I felt something hit my chest, though not with pain just with a strange force. "That's odd." I said to myself softly and walked through the front entrance to the school. I saw the library door was opened already, meaning that the librarian came in early today. I walked through the front door and opened my backpack to grab two manga books I checked out yesterday, one D-Gray Man and one Bleach manga. I put them down the check in box and went toward the manga section to see what Bleach volumes they have that I need. "Ooh! They got the 24th volume!" I grabbed the volume and looked at the cover and flipped through the manga.
"Seem pretty good shape, good for checking out." I told myself and smiled. I looked at the D-Gray Man though the next volume seems to be checked out so I guess wait a couple days depending on how long they keep it. I walked up to the check out station and set the Bleach manga on the table. "Hello can I check out a book?" I asked to the turned chair. The chair revolved toward me and behind it was the librarian, Mr. Dale. He wears glasses, large rimmed I should add, with sort of white hair, which is weird because he's in his early 20's and its not gray white its white, white. "What do you want kid?" He asked with annoyance. "Umm I would like to check out this manga." I held the Manga in my hand and he snatch it angrily out of my hand. "Fine!" He snarled at me and checked out the book for me. He rubbed the bare code on the and literally threw the book at my face though I grabbed it without it hitting me. "Umm thanks?" I asked. "Whatever now go!" He snarled at me and pointed toward the exit. "Uhh …" I was too shocked to even give a chance to think of something. I walked away and sat down on a table. "Who stabbed him today?" I asked myself quietly with an anger written across my face now. "Hey Jason!" Someone said happily behind me but I turned around and snarled at however was behind me and shouted "What do you want!?" then noticing it was Joscline. "Oh god I'm sorry Joscline!" I said, feeling cold sweat drip down from my brow onto my cheeks from screaming at her.
Joscline is one of my anime friends, the one responsible for getting me into more manga and anime then I was before. We just met last year though shes lived in my neighborhood as long as I can remember. Before I met her I only knew one anime, and that was Fruits Basket. After I started hanging out with her I got to know Death Note, Bleach, D.N Angel, D-Gray Man, Soul Eater too (which I became totally engrossed in). Joscline has a pond-ish blue eyes with blackish brown hair. She doesn't tan that well so she has sort of milky white skin that sort of glistens in sunlight. Sometimes she wears glasses though since her eye sight is almost perfect she doesn't need them all the time. "What's up with you?" She asked softly looking away and her hair was covering her eyes, making her look innocent.
I looked away pursing my lips out in my annoyance. "The dang librarian is in one of his moods again! He's making me angry again, he snapped at me again for absolutely nothing. What's up with him is what you should be asking." I told her sitting back down again. She turned toward me and sat down on the table next to where I'm sitting. "Don't let him get to you." She said in her soft voice, which always seems to calm me down. I smiled and looked at the Bleach manga in my hand. I jumped up and put it in my back pack and put my back pack on my back. "You don't have to get ready now, I mean we have 10 minutes left before the first bell." Joscline titled her head a little to the left looked at my eyes. Somehow her eyes were looking deeper then she usually does, like she was looking for something else then what she was asking for. Though the question came to my mind, 'Why is she looking at me like that?'. A stupid one but it's the one that made me think more about the subject. I noticed I was staring at her from her looking at me weirdly and snapped out of my weird trance. "S..Sorry Joscline, it's just been a weird morning. Must not be all there yet." I looked away and my cheeks started to warm up and showing color. Making it appear like I'm blushing. She giggled like a little girl and said "Aww." Like I was some little kid. "ITS NOT FUNNY!" I turned away and she started laughing louder.
After a couple of minutes trying to get Joscline to breathe again, the first bell rang to get everyone moving for their next class. "Oh time to get to class!" Joscline saluted for some reason which made me laugh a little and we walked out of the library and took a right. For my first period, I'm taking an A.P Class called A.P American History, which is like regular American History though it's at a college level. Some of it is kind of hard to understand since my brain is still trying to get into the school mojo. It's only been like 4 to 5 weeks into the school year and we haven't gotten too far in our studies. The class is only a hallway and a couple steps from the library, so we don't have a long way to walk. We enter and I set my backpack down next to my desk, which is two desks away from the door. Joscline sits a couple desks in front of me, which is good since I sort of nod off during class thinking about other things.
The second bell rang after a couple of minutes of us entering. The teacher, Mr. Wever, started to set up for today's lesson. I started to pay attention in the beginning but I felt something … odd coming in the room. An electrifying energy starts to crawl around the room, starting from the door. It went through my back and through my chest and shocked my entire body with a low grade shock. If I wasn't awake then I was after that thing crept through my body. Plus it scared me pretty bad that I almost made a sound during the lesson. I continually felt it creep, crawl, sometime fly around the room throughout the period. It kept going into my hair – which I worked hard on I don't just roll out of bed and look at myself in the mirror and say I look good usually the mirror would break if I stare at it for a long time – and then around me like a cyclone. I looked like I was annoyed or angry through the class as well, since it was annoying me.
As soon as the bell rang for the next class, the energy vanished like it was air passing through. "That was odd …" I self consciously said as Joscline passed by me. "What's odd? Did something happen?" She asked in her somewhat soft tone. "It's nothing I thought a fly came by here for a second." I grabbed my backpack and walked out of the class room with Joscline by my right. She doesn't have my next class - which is English honors – and walked down a separate hallway from me as I strolled out of the school. The class itself doesn't bother me, it's the route I have to take to get to it. I have to go outside and then take a right down a pathway, dodging other students – which is probably a reason why I hate it so much – and go down a pathway through a bunch of portables and go to the last one of the bunch just slapped in the campus.
Though once I get to it I feel like I dodged an army and walked a mile (something that everybody hates to do). As I get in I see my friends talking with other people –mostly likely their other friends- and go to my seat to relax a bit from pretty much running to the area. Right when I relax I feel a slam on my desk that makes me scramble in my seat and accidently slap my friend Jace in the face. "Oh god sorry." I said looking at where I slapped him. "Did I really scare you that much?" He asked to me as he put the palm of his hand on his cheek. "You startled me cause I wasn't looking!" I shouted to him and he laughed from where he was standing. "Your such a startled elephant!" Jace said through the tears of laughter coming from down his cheeks.
One thing you got to know about Jace, he doesn't really take anything seriously and makes up head scratching phrases that can confuse anyone – even himself if he doesn't say it right. I've known him since I was in 2nd grade, when he first called me a 'startled elephant'. Even all the way back in 2nd grade he was random like that … though I've learned to like it like he seems to. I started to snicker at his enjoyment of my reaction to him scaring me and then started to softly laugh as well. "Well at least I'm not the one who screams bloody murder when he even hears the word –" "DON'T EVEN SAY IT!" He hissed silently and jumped over to my desk, slammed his hands on my desk at put his face 5 inches from my face. I smiled and he stood back up and pouted. I laughed at his childlike response and said "Pout all you want … "Bloody Jace"." And then started to burst out laughing at his face turning instantly white.
The next bell rang after a minute of my laughing episode and my English teacher, Ms. Foster, came up and introduced the lesson for the day. Though once the bell came and gone, I started to feel a cold chill go to up my back and through my body. I started to vibrate from the cold flash that just went over me but everybody else around me was perfectly fine. No one noticed I was vibrating and just listened to Ms. Foster as she taught about pronouns and action verbs. It's odd that I would feel cold, it's actually quite humid outside for pants or jackets. The poor saps that wear them will probably end up having a heat stroke or die of dehydration, either way it's not a good situation to be in. The time seemed to be flying though ever second seemed to only bring me less warmth and more cold chills up and down my back. It felt like someone was touching me up and down my back and with every touch I was getting colder.
After the moment I was starting to grow snot sickles from my nose and use them as ice weapons, the bell rang for the next class. "Thank the living lord!" I shouted in my head and jogged out of the portable and felt the humid air brush up against my cheek. "Ahh." I softly said as I walked down the walk way to the building. My next class, my third period, is Art class –which is my favorite class! The one reason is because I'm a manga/anime artist, nothing really special since I'm just an amateur right now. Though I hope to get better, I don't know if I will though I hope I do. I'm trying really hard. Before I could get to the school, I saw my friend Darrius walking only 2 inches away from me. I walked up to him and pushed him a little, "Hey man didn't see you at the library today. Something up today?" I asked him. He turned his head the opposite direction I was standing in and I could feel his cold shoulder that he was giving me. "Dude tell me, is something up?" I asked again, this time a little louder. "It's nothing don't worry." He answered softly then walked faster away. When he replied I stood for a second then started to walk to my art class. That wasn't Darrius's usual casual voice, it seemed raspy and it seemed to have a different tone then his usual fun loving tone.
I tried to shrug off the abnormal feeling I had after I met Darrius. I walked into my art class and grabbed my folder out of the class shelf and looked at the lesson plans. "Good so far." I whispered to myself, since strange phenomenon's have been going on lately around my classes. "You seem off today." A jolly, soft tone of voice came up and plopped down the chair over from me. "Hey Austyn." I said to the blonde headed girl sitting in front of me. She smiled and her perfect cheek bones showed.
I smiled and looked up at her. Austyn had her hair up in a curly pony tail and her hair seemed perfectly brushed with just a little bits of hair coming out of her scalp. She has auburn skin, which means she has tanned skin that seems to waded out from being in school for a couple weeks and not being at the beach. Some people like to call her P.A for 'Perfect Austyn' since she always seems to have a perfect aura and look. Though her eyes are a bit … odd if I may add. Ones green and ones baby blue that shifts from pure blue to baby blue when the other stays green. I've known Austyn for as long as I can remember, I think I remember meeting her in the first grade when we had an art project and we needed to be in a duo group.
Ever since then, we've been best friends – plus she's also into anime/magna like me! The only flaw she has in that is … she's not into Death the kid –Period! She's more of a Black Star fan. I keep saying she's gone mental for not liking Death the kid, though I answer my own question and say that she needs more symmetry and she pushes me away playfully.
"So what's up? How has today been so far?" I asked as I started to draw whatever the assignment was. "Weird, I've been feeling something's that I haven't noticed before in this school." Austyn replied, barely in a whisper. "Like?" I asked as soft as her. "Heat flashes, strange vibration in the ground." She answered finally drawing. "That is odd. Maybe their working on the school again, I mean it had renovations … um before the school year started?" I recalled. "I know that but it's really starting to worry. Is there something wrong with me?" Austyn asked worried about herself. I lifted my head to see her head down drawing and looked around so no one was paying attention. "I've been feeling somethings too. Kind of what you're feeling except its cold flashes and electrical energy." I whispered to her and I could see. She didn't protest, just went back to working. She doesn't protest on these things because we can feel things most people can't. Some people call us the 'separated twins' since we can feel the same things other people can't. It maybe weird, though it helps us get along better.
As soon as the bell rang, I started to hear weird noises in my ear. Not like voices but weird screechy noises or like vibration in my ear. I popped my ears but the noises were still there. I couldn't pay attention in class because of this though Austyn still didn't hear anything like me, yet she looks like she can feel something odd. I rolled my eyes and tried to muddle through with it so it wouldn't affect my work, totally wrong. I didn't get any work done except for a small portion from Austyn explaining it to me. These phenomenon's seem are starting to really annoy the hell out of me. The bell rang and the noises went away after the bell stopped. "How is this happening?" I asked myself in a hush tone and left the art room. Austyn and I have the next class together, which is gym class –or as I like to call it 'Death'.
I call it that because gym is going to kill me with all of its extensive work out that can bring down a well in shape man. I mean even the mile is hard! And I can run a mile! Austyn thinks the same thing, except she calls it 'The oncoming pain'. As I walk with Austyn, I see brown hair flopping up and down and I see Joscline trying to find a way into the gymnasium. "Joscline!" I shout to her between a billion people and she jumps up and sneaks a peak on me. She moves through the people and get to Austyn and I. "God it's packed today." Joscline complained as she tried to maneuver around 30 kids a second. "Maybe because we're a little later then we usually are. I'm not all sure." I said over the kids. "I guess." Austyn jumped into the conversation as we finally got outside to get to the locker rooms. "Why are the locker rooms out here?" I asked as they both laughed a little. "Maybe they hate us that much." Joscline said. I walked pasted the girl's locker room and waved good-bye to them and went to go change out.
The guys locker room is the worst thing you would possibly think. The guys in there are so … freaking … immature! They annoy me so much! So usually I get in and right back out. Not a moment to waste and then I get out. I got in and got out, like I said, and walked over to the bleachers to where my coach calls roll. I see two guys come toward me and I look up to see Jace and Oliver. Jace, who's dressed out, came over first and patted my back. Oliver, who is a lazy bum who doesn't like to work out or even participate, gave our handshake. "Dude, Oliver, why are you not dressed out … again." I said looking at Jace as he nodded. "I heard that it's Death Row out there. I don't wanna die! I'm too young to die!" He squeaked. "You know that excuse is getting real old." I say and Jace nods again. He brushes us off and turned away as my friend Kami, Austyn, and Joscline came out of the girl's locker room. "Hey guys." Kami said in her upbeat attitude of her's. I kind of feel bad for people in the morning with her, she's both a night and morning person – meaning she's happy in either times. Upbeat in the morning, not a good combination.
"Hey Oliver, or should I say wimp. Hey Bloody Jace." She said, almost losing her composure and snickered at her own joke. Jace turned really pale and turned away, Oliver rolled his eyes and did the same. "Does anyone knowing what were going to do today? I hope to god it's not that goddamn mile." Joscline cursed and looked down. "Oooh Joscline, finally using naughty words?" I say in a creepy tone but it still makes people laugh. The coach, Coach Warback (weird name huh?), came out and called everyone in their line. I waved bye to them as they left to their own coach and I got first, since my full name is Jason Brater (no one has a last name with an 'A'). After roll we leave for outside to hit the football field. Groans of the future agony coming and walk outside. Joscline runs up to me, following Austyn and Kami. Kami's right to, Austyn always on my left, and Joscline is the poor sap standing in front of me. Jace and Oliver usually stand near me but not as near as Austyn and Kami (since Jace is a little scared of Austyn and Oliver is known to lose his composure around Kami and her jolly attitude).
Joscline finally breaks the silence and says to us "Is it too late to say I have a bad leg?" and we all laugh. "I'm not kidding is it?" she asks again and we shake our head no to the silly thought. "Damn!" Joscline curses again though a little loud but none of the coaches notice. Like they would have if she shouted it. We could be talking about the most abnormal topic ever and they wouldn't even care. We get near the football field and my stomach starts to feel uneasy from the mile but then I feel something really … abnormal coming from the football field. I stopped and grabbed Austyn's forearm and stopped her too. I whispered into her ear "Do you feel that?" and she immediately knows what I'm talking about and she nods slowly and we catch up to the others. It feels like air is being pulled to the middle of the football field and –trying to preserve my sanity- I think I see something appear in the middle but up in the air. Something like …. Sparks?
After the dreaded mile, we were all sweating and Joscline looked like she was about to pass out, I think she might even die of loss of oxygen to either her head or lungs. Either way she needed to breathe. Austyn looked fine, just a little flustered and heavily breathing, just like me. Jace finished a little before me but he looked even worst then me, his face was as red as Mars, his black skin was glistened with sweat trying to cool his body. "Y'all okay?" I asked a bit of southerness in my voice. "Yeah but I feel like crap!" Jace shouted as he tried to straighten his spine, which I feel he hurt as he ran. I walked up to Austyn and whispered to her "Do you still feel that energy? Or did it go away?" she looked around and dragged me a little away from them. "Yeah I still feel it, it's pretty strong up close." She replied softer then my whisper. "Okay maybe it will go away by tomorrow." I say and went back to the dying group.
I changed back into my original clothing then the bell rang and I left for Algebra. Kami ran up next to me and greeted me in her happy tone –seriously where does she get this energy even after the Death mile? Kami is in my Algebra class as well and she eats lunch with me as well. She's pretty smart, I'm surprised that she's in regular math. Kami's like top of the class. Though it means another friend in my class, really how can I protest? We both finally get to the class and I see my friend Kim. "Hey Kim." I say, trying to sit down since my butt hurts from running the damn mile. "Death mile in gym?" She asks not missing a beat. "Oh yeah." I reply fast and finally sit down. She laughs at my position and helps me up. Kim is pretty sassy though she's awesome to hang out with. I met her the first day of 9th grade when I was walking toward the Cafeteria. We just started talking and we made each other laugh and we just hit it off and became friends at the end of the day. It's really good thing too, she's really funny and I don't think I would be able to survive my math class with just vigorously active Kami.
Once the bell rings, I except another odd phenomenon, though there is none. The news is on, though I never pay attention to it –WAY! Too boring for me. I pulled out my Bleach manga and start reading, luckily my Algebra teacher (Mrs. Jackson) doesn't make me put it back. As the news goes off, she tells us to pick up the novel were reading in class –'Mountain Climber'- and turn to page 70 and stay along with the tape. I really loathe doing that. I'd rather just keep reading my Bleach manga but no I can't. Stupid audio tape! I listen in on it but I really don't pay attention to it, I've read it seven freaking times before! Finally, after 20 agonizing minutes of boredom, the bell rings for lunch. One thought through my head was 'FOOD!' and rushed out the door with Kami and Kim. Hard to believe I made it there with them in under 5 minutes, the Death mile is still in affect of my soreness. Though I get in and get a chicken sandwich (YUM!) and a Gatorade. Their something like an outdoor café outside and we always sit out there –unless it starts to rain. I sit down then Kami and Kim sit beside me and start to go through their food. First thing I grab is my chicken and take a huge bite of it. "Mhmm! Finally food!" I say to them and they laugh.
Austyn, Joscline, Jace, and Oliver come as well and sit in front of me and beside Kim and Kami. Austyn sits next to Kim, who's right to me, and Joscline sits across from me. "Hey Josc, how's design?" I ask her, since her fifth is her activity period of Design. "Fun! We're going to make pants after lunch!" She says gleefully and Kami high fives her. I laugh and bite into my chicken sandwich. "Why do we always get a chicken sandwich again Jason?" Kim asks me as she examines her lunch and bites it. "The question is … why do we not buy chicken sandwich every day?" which makes Kim laugh while she's eating. She slaps my arm and swallows, "What did I tell you? Don't make me laugh while I'm eating!" She says with a smile and giggles. "That is a promise I cannot keep, you make gatoraid come out of my nose every other day!" I say to her and wave the bottle in front of her face.
Joscline starts to laugh and looks at me "Why is it only gatoraid though? I've never seen milk come out of your nose." She asks and bites her mini spaghetti. Austyn jumps in and snickers "That happened in 5th grade when the teacher made him laugh so hard that it just squirted out like a fountain." She started to uncontrollably laugh. "Once! Once and that's because she said she had a big ass! She forgot to mention it was a donkey" I admitted. "I mean everyone was laughing at that! I just happened to be drinking milk during it." I started to blush and Kami grabbed my cheek and started to softly pinch them. "Aww he's blushing again." Kami said and I swatted her hand away and even Jace and Oliver started to laugh at that. "It's not FUNNY!" I said loudly.
Algebra was completely boring, mathematics and crap with some variables. Still no phenomenon's –Thank god! I walk to my final class and get to biology and I see Joscline at our lab table, not unusual for her to be punctual. I say hi she replies but I can hear her teeth chattering so bad and I can see her shaking like a Chihuahua in winter. "Are you … alright? I mean your shaking like you're about to have a heart attack. "No its freezing in here. Can you not feel it?" She asks and I don't feel cold, first time all day. "I'm actually pretty warm, maybe even a little flushed. Why is it really that cold?" I answer her question with another question. "Well … yes it's like freaking Antarctica in here!" she says through her chattering. I can see everyone is freezing, even Mr. Yaoi our Biology teacher. "Well I'm fine." I say, ending the conversation and sink in my seat as the bell rang.
So far so good, nothing weird happening to me though everyone is about to die of frost bite. I look over at Joscline and I think I see her shaking like she's about to fall out of her seat. Mr. Yaoi finally gives it enough and turns up the heat and everyone starts to calm down. Though now I'm starting to get cold. Every time he turns the heat up, I get colder. Oh, there's the phenomenon. As the final minutes of class is ending, I feel as cold as a penguin. Maybe even colder. Stupid school!
The bell finally rang and I said good-bye to Joscline, since she rides the bus home, and see Austyn looking worried. I run up to her and grab her forearm before she gets to Joscline's bus, since she lives near in my neighborhood along with Kami, Joscline, Oliver, and Jace. "Something happen?" I ask her and she immediately knows, psychic connection we got there. "Yeah it happened again, my throat was hurting during chorus and I couldn't sing. I had to sit out and as I was sitting there I thought I heard something behind the wall. Something like … ticking?" She explained to me and I nodded. "Sorry about that Austyn, maybe it won't happen again. Tomorrow is Friday, maybe they will fix up the school. Don't worry." I said in a soothing tone to calm her down. She smiled and hugged me and ran to her bus and I ran to my spot to where Jessica and I meet to go home.
The ride home was fine –felt like mention it since things have been happening all day besides the morning. I got home and went to my room and jumped into my bed with my backpack next to me. First thought "Bleach!" then homework. I'm too tired to do homework, especially that math homework I got to do. Factorial equations, man I feel like going to whenever they were invented and slapping the person who made it and say "If you make them I swear I'll make your life a living hell!" then run away. I also pull out the other two volumes of Tsubasa and D-Gray man. Lucky me someone mentioned to me that my school has the hugest manga section in the county, or maybe in the state. I flash back to when someone said as I look at my Bleach. I picked up the book and someone I didn't look at said it. I wonder who since the person's voice didn't seem like a teenager by the ages of high school. It might have been a deep voiced senior that loves manga. Either one I'm glad we got it! Horary for manga I always say!
I finally open the book and go to the bookmarked page and start reading it with anticipation. Though, without me knowing, a shadow of a grown man appears over me without a body. The shadow pokes out his hand from the wall and touches my back and I feel a cold chill down my spine. Then I feel another hand then a head poke behind me and I look left to see something, though nothing. I shrug it off and continue the manga. Though the shadow reappeared though stayed undetected and looked over me, a creepy smile came over the shadow's face with demonic eyes as well.
~~
Something in darkness appears and there's a circular object in the middle of the cavern – like room. Three shadows appear around it, their faces and bodies –except for a little skin and clothing- is hidden in the shrouds of darkness. "How is the experiment? Is it up to 100% yet? Or is it still having difficulty?" The voice came from the body in front of the orb. The man to the right smiled and showed his palm, a demonic symbol was tattooed onto his palm and it started to vaguely glow. "Yes, right now it is 99% but by tomorrow it will be at 100% … perfect for our attack." He said in a deep, raspy voice that made the cavern shake. "I have trained it enough so it knows what to do with the people. Tomorrow we'll feast on their souls and grow stronger. With the help of him." The man gestured toward a boy my age coming out of the darkness and a light hit his body. The boy looked up and it was Darrius, but it wasn't him anymore. His hair turned completely white and his eyes were shifting colors and his right eye turned into a star that was filled with something that was starting to drip. "His blood … it is blue?" The man to the left asked and the man to the right nodded his head. "I had to take some qualities from … someone and I didn't want the boy to have black blood. People might know somethings up with him if he starts bleeding black blood." He answered. Darrius smirked and uttered the horrid words "Destroy …. Jason … take his soul … get stronger." And then the cavern went black again.

I went to sleep earlier tonight, too much math to stay up, and wake up a little earlier to see Jessica doing her hair in an odd style that I've never seen before. "Again? Seriously?" I ask her annoyed. "Yep!" She says with glee, the glee hits me and I growl at her. It's too early in the morning for all this happiness. I don't care about happiness until I gots my coffee, if I don't … well it isn't going to be a happy day. I get my coffee and get to school, memory fuzzy from waking up –most mornings are like that. I don't really pay attention to the first three –besides art class- though I notice there isn't any weird phenomenons today. I trot along to gym, the halls not so crowed today (probably since its Friday and no one comes in). I see Austyn pretty much sprinting toward me and her face was absolutely white and her hair was messed up from running away. She looked absolutely horrified, like she just saw a vampire sucking someone's blood. "Jason … we have to get out of here! Now! Before … -" she didn't finish. Her pupils grew to the size of silver dollars and her lip started to quiver. She sprinted off in the other direction faster than yesterday for the mile. "What's up with her today?" He asked himself and turned around to see what the fuss was all about. I saw a body and crunching noises and … did I just see blood gushing? The head jerked and I saw a girl with her neck in shambles. The skin was actually tore off her body, her blood vessels were gushing blood and blood covered her entire body. Plus her arms and legs were broken and gushing blood as well. Though I could see her chest move quickly. She was still alive! She was alive and feeling all that pain from whoever did that to her. I looked at who did it to her and my face went pale. It was Darrius. "Darrius?" I was in absolute denial until he opened his mouth and talons for teeth were there. His hands were huge and claws formed from where his hands should be. He licked his mouth and I could see a forked tongue come out of his mouth and his eyes changed to pure black and his right eye was in the shape of a star. "Darrius?" I asked again. I shouldn't have said anything. I should have run with Austyn and left. He opened his mouth a little and I thought he was going to cry for help. He screamed alright, just not in the way I thought he would be. He shrieked like a banshee and the glass neck to me broke and the whole school vibrated. To my surprise, no one besides the girl he bit was in the hall, and then there was me. He kept screaming and the glass that broke next to me broke into smaller pieces and those smaller pieces until it was nothing. Darkness appeared at my feet and I couldn't move. He to that frequency and his back formed bat wings and that's when the darkness overtook me. It surrounded my body but something broke it away. It wasn't covering my body but I was inside the darkness alright. I could see things I couldn't see before. Darrius's skin was peeling away though his skin was red and I could see blue blood gushing from the peeling skin. The wings started to bleed as well the blue blood covered his body. He didn't look like Darrius anymore. He looked like Satin. Then he flew toward me but I fell, slowly but I fell down. As I was falling, I could feel my heart about to burst and me dying. Though before I could pass out, I saw his face close up. The blue blood covering it and it was absolutely revolting. That made me pass out and I floated down into the darkness – lifelessly drifting down.
