NYCC: Shazam is Back!

Geoff Johns is at it again! Announced during DC's Justice League panel at New York Comic-Con, the writer revealed that he's reuniting with Superman partner in crime Gary Frank for a Captain Marvel back-up feature that will be appearing in Justice League.

 

Titled The Curse of Shazam, the story will introduce Billy Batson as Captain Marvel within DC's New 52. The character's inclusion in the relaunch had been in question, but now it's clear that DC has big plans for him after all. No start date, length, or potential for an ongoing series was mentioned, but we'll keep you updated.
