What do you think of Sora and Riku's "Dream Buddies?"

I think they are strange, but the dog looking one Sora has is cute. They won't beat Donald and Goofy, but I'm not turned off by them.

 

I have friends who say that their new allies are "creepy," "babyish," and "annoying." One even said that he won't buy the game because of them. Ouch!

 

What do you guys think?
