Albireo warped into the city, where Maverick signs had been spotted. People were running around and cars were driving crazily through the roads. Albireo sighed. How much destruction will you cause? Damn you, Wily! he thought, thinking of the long dead Dr. Wily, a scientific madman who built a robot. But not just any robot, a Reploid Prototype, one with the ability to think and feel like a human. The bad news about this was that he had implanted a virus in it, one which made all machineries go buck wild when they got infected. This Prototype was named "Zero", due to being the very first Reploid to be built. There were theories of another Reploid built before Zero but not enough proof was found. Enough with the history lesson. I've got to save these humans. he thought, taking the metal hilt of his broadsword from behind his back and holding it tight, making a huge laser blade appear. "Rho, where are you? I may be A-Rank, but I'm not invincible..." he said through his communicator.

“On my way, Albireo.” Rho had been a wee bit busy with putting on her armor and making sure everything was set. It made her a little confused, considering the large amounts of small and big parts. Of course, it was never too hard, but it wasn’t that simple to her. Not just yet. She was practically just created, and with any newly manufactured reploid, it had been a wild journey so far. Rho had the skills and resources to handle it, so it was only a matter of time before she became a solider. Her armor gleamed, barely any scratches or spots of wear could be seen anywhere on it. After all, this is one of her first missions. The girl just happened to be paired up with Albireo. He was being her superior for the day, for he was much more experienced when it came to strategy, plus he was a rank higher than she herself was. Of course she was capable of fighting and ripping apart mavericks, but she was only a B rank hunter, and still a rookie. What else could she do? Maverick Hunting was the best option for her, or at least, it seemed to be that way. It certainly beat being a construction worker, which, due to her build, would have worked out just as well. It wasn’t for her though. Rho wanted to do something about the growing problem caused by the maverick Zero, one whom she has only heard of recently. She placed her last shining armguard on her right arm and teleported to her partner’s position. “Sir!” She acknowledged.

Albireo was slashing through a Maverick when Rho teleported in. "Good timing. Help out here will you? And don't refer to me as "Sir". It's too formal. Call me Albireo. It's my name after all." he said. His broadsword hummed as he swung it dangerously towards some strange moving round machines that slid down the slopes. Albireo's job was to find out who was causing this mess around the downtown, as well as to destroy him/it, if necessary. A huge battalion of Mavericks was headed towards both of them. "Oh, that's just great!" he yelled out. He got himself into a standard batting position. And he wait, and waited, and waited. When the Mavericks were almost on top of them, Albireo swung his broadsword, making a wave which took out some of them. Albireo took out his blaster and, turning off the laser blade, side-dashed while he shot several Mavericks, making them blow up. After a while, his cloak was almost completely burnt and he was already dodging and missing most attacks. But it wasn't for nothing that he was an A-Rank Hunter. He switched again. Putting the blaster back into the holster and turning on the laser blade, he quickly advanced through the crowds by slashing. "Rho! How's everything on your end? If we don't hurry, whoever is behind this will get away!" he said through the communicator.

Rho nodded, and got into a defensive stance, pulling out her Beam Shield and turning it to it’s highest setting as the crowd of mavericks closed in. She stood her ground as they started pounding on her shield, which she slowly shrunk. Just before she was about to get hit by some punch, she pulled out her hammer and crushed the robot. Close call… Rho thought to herself as she had began to pushed herself through the mavericks with her weapon. She twirled her weapon around as she went through, smashing whatever enemy had been standing in her way. Rho was feeling a bit overwhelmed, and dashed out of the rest of the crowd. She looked back at her pursuers and saw that there weren’t too many left to destroy, so she dashed right back in to finish the job. Just then, she got the message from her comrade. "Just fine, s-err, Albireo." She confirmed, quickening her pace as she smashed through the hoards of machines. Rho was a bit behind after all, and of course, they had to eliminate any threat to the humans immediately. It was their job to do so, their mission to destroy the reploid gone insane. Hopefully, this threat would be easily eliminated so she could just get the hell out of this battlefield.
