Well they are really far with the story since Naruto is already able to use the Nine-Tails-Chakra-Form.

I bet the story goes as far as the latest manga chapters.

If I recall, the story only goes up to the Hokage Summit and a little after, as they are saving a big event for the next game, which is why Nine Tails Naruto is a special character.
