Theory on the Nobody creation Process

Posted

Okay, so this consists of a couple different theories, that contribute to a bigger one so bear with me ;)

First off, The Heart

Within the Kingdom Hearts universe there exist three things that make up any being

1) A Heart

2) A Body

3) A Soul

- things that we know about the heart is that it can exist without a body, it contains the capacity for emotion, etc...

- things that we know about the body is that without the soul it will die, that it usually harbors a heart, etc..

- things that we know about the soul is that it is the body's "battery", and that's about it

My first theory is this, that everything about a being exists within the heart, the mind, the emotions, the personality, the will to live, memories, so on and etc, also strength of heart and strength of will go hand in hand.

Each of these can be proved by the fact that Sora existed as a walking heart with a PPS (projected physical shell) (almost just like what heartless produce to create their pseudo-bodies)how?

1) Sora was able to think

2) Sora had emotions

3) Sora acted like Sora

4) Sora was alive (his heart obviously had a will to live)

5) Sora had his memories

6) Sora was all Sora, every bit of him existed within his heart so not much changed when he became a walking heart

make since? kay, on to second part Bodies by themselves have no ownership

Much shorter, alright so basically bodies by themselves have no ownership... I already said that, huh? Well let's look at those who became Nobodies, not the one's in the organization, but the standard kind... Ask yourself, do those creatures in anyway represent the somebody they used to be? Short answer: No. Long Answer: The bodies and souls that the somebody previously possessed certainly had traits of that somebody, but once the heart left so did all of the characteristics of that person, the heart only passed on one thing - which will be discussed on the next part

Strong Hearts are capable of leaving "imprints" on the body/soul

kay, so now we're into the meat of the theory

When a normal heart is separated from the body, and the body falls into darkness the heart is incapable of "imprinting" anything upon the body. Therefore the body/soul isn't passed on the most basic instinct within the heart; the will to live

- This means that a Nobody isn't produced

When a strong heart is separated from the body, and the body falls into darkness, the power emitted from the heart "imprints" the will to live upon the body/soul before it falls into darkness... (see image below)

- This means that a "normal" nobody is produced

("Sora" is just an example for this diagram)

And finally, when an exceptionally strong heart is separated from the body, everything contained in the heart is "imprinted" upon the nobody, everything (*note that since the heart holds the capacity to have emotion, these types of Nobodies will only remember what it was like to have emotion, and will not actually be able to possess it)

- This creates Organization type Nobodies (not that all of these "join" the organization)

- - - - -

So that's basically it, what do you guys think of it? :D

Another point I'd like to make is that while hearts can leave imprints on their own bodies to create Nobodies. Strong Hearts can also leave imprints on people outside of themselves...

Two particularly influencial hearts are Xehanort's, and Ansem's. What do I mean? Those who had strong connections to Xehanort tended to exibit his yellow eyes, and pointy ears... While Ansem's influence on Terranort gave him Ansem's Amber/Orange eyes...

This all goes back to the fact that bodies inherently have no owner, and whatever the heart influences the body, the body will act accordingly

Hearts connect with each other in the universe of Kingdom Hearts, and when hearts connect to those such as Xehanort's (with his exceptionally strong heart), Xehanort's heart (for example) will imprint upon others "traits of Xehanort"

this part is given partial credibility by Nomura himself, who said in an interview...

-- Comparing the Organization members when they were human to when they were in the Organization, apart from Xehanort, only Isa and Braig have differently-shaped ears and differently-coloured eyes - why is this?

Nomura: It's a question of whether or not they're deeply connected to Xehanort. In Braig's case, comparing the scene where he's injured in his battle with Terra and flares up at Xehanort, his appearance afterwards changes, which hints that something happened with Xehanort in between.

What I want to know is how a humanoid Nobody like Axel can be tuned into a basic nobody like a Dusk. That question always bothered me.

Actually, as stated in one of Ansem's reports in KH2, the amber/yellow eyes and darker skin tone are side effects from being exposed to darkness/travelling in the dark realm.

I think that the only error in your theory is the fact that when a weak heart is separeted from the body it WILL create a nobody, but a weak one, like the dusk.

Also, I think that there are two different things: The darkness in ones heart and a strong will. The more the darkness in your heart, the stronger your heartless will be, but you can have a weak will strenght and create a weak nobody, the opposite is the same. You can have little darkness in your heart and create a weak heartless (as Sora was just a simple shadow) and have a strong will and create a strong nobody.

Remember, the stronger the heartless, the more monstrous it will be, and the stronger the nobody, the more it will look like its original.

That actually makes a lot of sense; hopefully this will be explained better in future titles ^^

Interesting thread, by the way :3 Gotta bump this for others to check out~xD

I can understand this.
