Connecting KH1 to KH BBS

I used to think that the words on the game (when sora is sleeping and the narrator is talking to you) was a person like ansem for some reason just a random voice almost. I knew it obviously was not that but since I saw a cut scene of ven talking to sora I feel it was almost ven guiding him I believe the cut scene is called where the heart goes. Does anyone agree or disagree?
