Mysterious benders have appeared controlling Shadows as they take over cities. It is unknown how they did this but now a new war is breaking out and the only hope is for the new Avatar to master the elements and defeat the leader of the Shadowbenders Master Hellia. So far they have almost took over the Water Tribes now heading to the Fire Nation and the Earth Kingdom.

The avatar will start off as a Earthbender for this rp unless they say they want to start off differently.

 

Rules

1 Cursing is allowed don't go crazy though.

2 No killing a character unless you PM me and ask about it.

3 Maximum characters is 4.

4 Can't win all of the fights have to lose some.

5 Post Shadowsarecool at the end to tell me you read this.

6 If the person who has the avatar doesn't post for a while and has not told me anything someone else will get he/she.

April was standing in the middle of the platform. "Okay remember, you are supposed to fell the power of flames heat up inside of you." Jacken said. "I've got it." April said. Jacken then turned on a machine that would send out discs for April to hit. April went at it, and moments later she had let to let out any fire attack. "I dont think you're doing it right." Jacken said helping April get up after she was knocked down. "So maybe I cant do fire attacks." April said. "I just dont think you feel it inside of you yet." Jacken said. "I dont feel it because maybe its not there." April said. She then sat down and put her face into her hands. "April, I know that you dont feel it because you dont get it, but you can do it." Jacken said. "Maybe I can, or maybe I cant." April said. Jacken didnt say anything more to help April calm down.

Everyone remained completely unaware of the Shadow benders crawling through the Shadows now in the same platform April was on as they each waited to attack her silently forming dark shadows that blended in with them. "Little April you are doomed. Can you hear us? The Shadows screech your name in disgrace. We shall give them what they want. The death of the Avatar. The death of spirits." Savage let out still completely invisible just a little ways from April. "Are you afraid of the Dark?" He whispered still silently standing in a spot smirking all the same as they got ready to attack her.

Unknown now pwn'd to the ground struggled against three of them all on top of him to keep him from running away. "What's wrong Air bender? Can't get away from your Shadow or is it that your just weak like all other benders we have seen before?" One taunted smirking as they prepared to start cutting him.

"Why can't I get away from these guys?" Jay asked himself. He ran as fast as he could trying to escape these mysterious benders. After a while he realised that it wasn't the benders who were following, it was his shadow. "What power is this?" he asked " Okay then if its a fight you want its a fight you'll get. Agh!" he shouted as he shot a flare of fire at his shadow. It felt weird fighting his own shadow. Every move he made the shadow copied. He was starting to get restless, so he shot fire at himself and at the right time he dodged. He had finally defeated it. At that moment the benders returned. Once again he started to run. It was a long chase but finally he got to a temple. "Wow. This place is huge." said Jay. He entered the temple and saw two people talking "Well. I better go tell them what's happening."

Jacken felt a cold presence near by. He realized that it was a group of Shadow benders. "Oh, no. April, the shadows are here. It was my job to prepare you for the moment they would come after you. Now I was asked one simple task, keep you safe. Follow me." Jacken said. April followed him to a nearby staple. "Yuffie, the moment is here." Jacken said. A huge polar bear dog creature popped its head up. "Yuffie, you mean my faithful pet from back at the Earth Kingdom? When did she get here?" April asked Jacken. "No time for questions, we need to get you out of here. I will stay behind to defend this land." Jacken said. Moments later, April was on Yuffie going all the way to the outskirts of the South Pole.

Savage almost out of nowhere appeared looking in the direction of April before silently holding his hand out. "Keep him busy for the moment I must do something." The rest of them reappeared each holding there precious small dark fires in there hands with the same savage looks on there faces. "Keep the man alive. At the least he'll be used to get the Avatar to come to us. She'd wouldn't let her precious Master die easily." His eyes then found April as they turned a strange pure black when he started mumbling something under his breath. Seconds latter Aprils Shadow with a demonic smirk was right behind her ready to strike her with everything it had.

Unknown quickly turn kicking one away before twirling to knock the other as he got up and started running looking for April. "Got to keep her safe have to or bad things are to come with the Avatar gone. Must keep her safe till after the Dark Moon. Then they'll be powerless on the day after. Months away to it."

April looked over her shoulder to see her shadow come alive. "I hate Shadow benders. Yuffie, full speed ahead." April said trying to get away from her shadow when she thought something when Yuffie sped up. "So, its my shadow which is a part of me. How do I get my shadow to stop? Yuffie, I am going to defend us, you get us out of here girl. The further we are away, the faster we can get away, the safer we will be." April said. Yuffie understood and went at full speed, which is almost like a ceetah. Jacken was trying to hold the ground, so he sent out a circle of fire around him which would knock out the shadow benders.

As Jay stepped into the the training ground he saw a circle of fire shoot out. It was hotter than any fire he ever made. He knew that he had to help this person even though he was already strong. "Watch out old man." said Jay as he ran into battle.

"Where did you come from child?" the man asked.

"I'm Jay but there's no time for small talk." he answered.

They worked together with such ease but Jay knew these benders were strong. He pulled out his sword and lit himself on fire.

"Hmm. I've never seen a firebender do that." said the master.

"Well i'm no ordinary firebender."

The Shadow began speaking it sounded cold when she spoke with anger toward April. "You'll die for your crimes against us! You shall pay for your past and no longer shall we have to worry!" The Shadow screeched as it sped up while she stood up getting ready to jump on with April as black gloved hands began glowing with a dark purple fire. "I'll be the one to bring you back and kill you just like I wanted to do to all the other Avatars after they did this to me!" She screeched again almost close enough to jump on.

Savage then turned before running closer. "Time for a little edge. Shadows disappear till I call." Almost as soon as he said this all of the Shadow benders backed away vanishing into thin air again while Savage clapped before smirking. "Well well before I do anything I would like to know your named. Mine is Savage Haiku. I believe I should warn that i'm a far Superior foe then you know and our Supreme is even greater than I. I give you the chance to come quietly and not have to be dealt with like I have planned."

(I have a little question. Since I created Jacken, and been the one using him the most, can I please be the only one who uses him. I just feel like Jacken has my brain only so I would like for others not to use him.)

Bio:Ran away from her parents but she dose not know that her father is still fallowing her. She and her pet a messenger hawk, named Coi ( Co-i< I has an e sound). She stole a messenger hawk from one fire bender. The hawk is now her friend and Ila now travels with it. She wishes to stop the shadow benders form causeing the war.

Abilities: Controls the earth and uses her sharp sences to help her while fighting.

Coi flew in from the window. I for now lived in Ba Sing Se with Coi. The gate keepers almost would not let me in because of him. "You could get in troble because of that hawk!" the old woman next door said from her window. "I kinda knew that," I bended a rock out from the ground and held it up to her, "Trust me, I will attack". "Go on and get trapped in the prisons!" She coughed, then walked away. "Whatever." I sighed. Then some shadow looking people walked the streets. "Shadow benders!" I whispered in fright pulling Coi under the window. I waited for a second then got us back up. I looked to the old ladies roof to see two Pygmy puma, grooming. "Are you not grammys little protecters." I mumbled to myslef. I walked outside hopeing for me to get into some fun-trouble. I walked down a couple of blockes and took a turn to a marketplace. After walking away from that I took a small path to a clearing that I could practice in. Just about when I raised a stone i heard a voice. "Who's there?" a man said. He walked in sight. "What do you mean? " I asked. He threw a rock at me, thankfully I douged it. "Yes, yes. Now fight little girl! FIGHT!" he laughed. Bending a rock up I almost hit him. "Bad aim." He laughed. "Shut up." I spit out, throwing another rock. Hitting him but barely effecting him. "My turn." he coughed. A rock, pretty big flew up. "Uh-Oh." I let out. It hit me in the head. Another battle lost.That tiny voice mumbled in the back of my mind.

"Miss? Miss?" I heard someone. I opend my eyes. I was in someones house. "Who are you?" I spit out. "Calm down. Im Loi Newman. Just call me Loi. I found to in a clearing." He said calmly. An old man, simple white hair and and brown clothes. "I am Ila Snow. And this is Coi" I pointed to Coi, sitting beside the man. After a few minutes I left there house and headed back home. I can tell that some earth benders are not that nice. Before I went to bed stupid Gooseturkey were causing a racket outside so I had to push them off. I went to bed after an hour because I had to save Coi from eating a Meadow Vole. Tommorrow I was going to the woods. So I had to get my Fox Antelope for the trip. I drifted to sleep slowly and steadly.

I woke up, and got myself ready. I grabbed Coi and walked to the barn. "Hi Mr.Kells! Sorry to come so early." I called. "Here for something?" He asked in his scraggy voice. " Just here to pick up Fawna." I smiled. "Third stall." He spit out. I walked over there to the stall. "Hey girl. Let's go. " I put on her Raines and sattle. "My little horse." I grinned. I rode her out and down the road. "I'm not going to the woods. I'm going to the south west. According to my research the shadow benders are docking there. " I told them both. I swung my bag over my shoulder. " Fawna go!" I commanded as she ran off. A dark shadow came after about an hour of traveling. " Shadow benders are fallowing us, hit it Fawna. " I whispered. She sped off as I created a crater in the ground behind us.
