Question about Drop gauge xd

Hi everyone (:

I just wanna know, in the game, in how minutes the drop gauge is wasted...or more easy...how much time do it take for sora to sleep and switch to riku ?

    i think every 20-30 minutes o_O, all i know is not more than 40 and not less than 10

    I thought it was more on distance, not time. Also, from watching walkthroughs, I saw you can manually change it at save points.
