He descended lower and lower, the blanket that was wrapped around him disengaged into feathers.

The where empty, and cold.
He landed gently feet first, on a white glowing platform, the area around him was empty.
A voiceless voice spoke again
I am a brand new heart
“but, this is…. Why are you in my heart”
the light attracted me, I could see its sparkle in the distance, I followed it.
“yeah. that was my light…”
He looked onward to the rest of the platform, a large chunk had broken off
“But my heart is fractured, and now the little I have left is slipping away”

The fractured piece of his heart melted into light.

And somewhere in that same world, a crying baby Sora calmed herself down to a slumber, gurgling and twitching with triumph.
