Batman Arkham 3 Discussion Thread {SPOILERS INSIDE}

Posted

So....

Batman: Arkham Asylum. Great.

Batman: Arkham City. Spectacular.

We all know a third one is coming in the Batman: Arkham series, so I decided to make a thread all about thinking up ideas for the 3rd game and how it'll be the BEST one yet.

Any and all suggestions are welcome, the more ideas the better, because we all have our own thoughts on how BA3 will play out, and spreading as much creativity as possible is great.

What do I think Arkham 3 will be about? (I know you don't care, but listen anyways): Basically, I have the same basic ideas a lot of people have gotten from the Easter Eggs in Arkham City, you know: Hush returning, Scarecrow returning, and Joker being dead in the dirt (Ok, maybe that last one is hard to grasp for most people, but you get what I mean).

Leave your ideas BELOW.

Honestly, there hasn't been any easter eggs hinting at a new Batman Arkham game. And to tell you the truth, I don't see how the next Arkham game will play out since Joker is dead. But knowing Rocksteady they will use other villians besides Joker for the new Arkham game. I mean they have a wide catagory of villians to select from that can make a good main villian for the new Arkham game. Like they did with Hugo Strange and somewhat Ra's Al Ghul.

Prequel?

In the Harley Quinn's revenge DLC, it seems like Joker isn't really dead, but that was just a decoy that died.

Anyway, I think it'll make Robin and Nightwing have their own campaign, introduce batgirl, have a bunch more gadgets, and let you drive the batmobile. I think it'll be joker taking over all of gotham.

Prequel?

Well, there is already a prequel to Arkham City which is Arkham City of course. Unless you want a prequel too a prequel lol.

If you've read the newest Batman comic "Batman Arkham City: End Game" it shows you what happens after the events of Arkham City and harley Quinn's revenge. And at the end of the comic it shows the Joker's body (which is the REAL Joker) is being cremated.

Obviously you haven't read the comic "The Killing Joke" which is the most famous and praised Batman Comic. Which shows Batgirl (A.K.A Oracle) being shot by Joker, himself and having to use a wheel chair for the rest of her life since her body is paralyzed from Joker's gun shot. So there is no way for Batgirl to appear in the next Arkham game. ALso, Robin did kinda have his own campaign in harley Quinn's Revenge.

uh you mean asylum?

Oh my bad lol. I was thinking of Arkgham City when I was typing and must have typed it by accident lol.

A prequel to Arkham Asylum. lol

Last I heard, the third game in the "Arkham" series or at least a game by Rocksteady is going to take place in the Silver Age of Batman, meaning a prequel. A huge time gap.

Well you made a question mark when you said that so I assumed that you were asking about what if there was a prequel to Arkham City but a sequel to Arkham Asylum lol.
