Spoilers!!!

"The past shall be reawakened as a new number in never-before-seen detail. Prepare yourself for the awakening of the next number."

What do you all think it means? Could it, hopefully, mean that Kingdom Hearts 3 is coming soon? Or does it mean that the first and second games could be remade in HD for the PS3?

^ The game, plot wise, felt really forced to me. Then again, so did Days.

I honestly can't think of anything when it come to the "in never before seen detail" part though. I do doubt, however, that it has anything to do with a new game in the way people are thinking. (HD Collection, HD Console, etc.), because that would be lame to advertise like that, so it has to be story related. And if anything has been brought up about that already, then my bad. It's been awile since I have slept or read this topic. (or it feels like it. lol)

The reason I started playing Kingdom Hearts was because of the Disney aspect. I love having Disney worlds. Though, the fact that 3D had two worlds in which Mickey was a main character was kind of dissappointing. I would love having worlds that were *only* Kingdom Hearts. I always enjoy the worlds and characters that are created namely for the franchise. It adds more depth.

But, I would stop playing the Kingdom Hearts games if they took out Disney. If they did, it would lose its sense of appeal to me. Without Disney, it just wouldn't be Kingdom Hearts. But if they had Disney characters, but created worlds that were only for the games, and characters only for the franchise, the games--and story--would just get better.

As for the original subject, lots of interesting theories!

It is obvious,

"The Past will be reawakened"- Terra, Aqua, and Ventus will be back

"In never before-seen detail"-Next Gen consoles(PS4/ Xbox 720)

"Prepare yourself for the awakening of the new number"- Prepare for KH3

Sora will awaken as the 'new number,' whatever number that is!

It's my gut feeling.

but it also could have another meaning - kh3 like y'all are saying.

The past will be reawakened - I also believe this means Terra, Aqua and Ven will come back, however, knowing Nomura he won't make it that obvious. So depending on how far back they plan to go, they might even use Sora and Riku's pasts (especially Riku) against them in some kind of "darkness" nightmare. It's only a thought! ^^;;

Yes, what would KH be without Disney? However... I'm sort of wondering how they're gonna fit this into the whole aspect of the Keyblade War and stuff. There's a war going on. We need seven lights. But.. it seems like Disney would just be side stories that are off topic and really have nothing to do with the game anymore o_o
