Haku

This was unbelieveable just pure madness in his eyes. The people of District 12 looked at him like he was going to die. Like the teenager before them would not make it. That looked at him like there was no hope. All that did was make him even more frustrated about the situation than he had before. Standing and looking straight at them he eyed his left where nothing was before looking to see his Guide Mr. Hawks and the Female tribute both looking very nervous. He was going to prove them wrong or die showing them that they could put mor ehope in the people of there District going as Tributes. Slowly he was pushed away about to go on the train. So this was how it always started well it made him nervous.

Anthony

He was a tribute well that wasn't a bad thing he had trained by himself for it. Never would he work with the Careers anyways. That would of made him weak but by training by himself he could learned everything he needed to know like hunting which would be a very could thing to know right? All he knew was that he looked over his shoulder to see the female tribute be called by Ms. Revees there Guide for the Hunger Games.

Crystal

She was the tribute and her District praised her so well. They almost always won because they where the best district there. The rich kids, the careers, the best of the best. The other districts despised them but why should they care? They where there to win and that they would. Looking over she waited for the male tribute to be called by Mr. Felix. Everything was going to get so much better.

I stood there, on the stage, surprised. I never in my entire life imagined I would be a tribute for the Hunger Games. I brushed my hair back, and felt the urge to cry. I held it in the best I could, and tryed not to look like a wimp in front of my district. I looked at all of my friends, as they stood there crying for me. It just made me want to cry even more, but I continued to hold it in. I bit my bottom lip, nervously searching the crowd. I looked to my left, then back to the crowd. No one dared to volunteer. I balked up my fists, my nails pressing unbearably into my skin. I looked back to my left, watching as the next tribute for District 8 was being called...

~Pollux~

A middle aged woman with tears in her eyes kissed him on the forehead. She wished him good-bye, and told him she loved him. Her husband patted the boy on his back and shook his head.

"Such a useless waste of life," he said. "I'm sorry it had to come to this, son."

Pollux looked in shock at his family. His five younger siblings rushed him and told them they loved him. They were all crying. They knew it. All of them. He wouldn't make it back.

Still shocked, Pollux wished his family good-bye and boarded the train, not looking back.

~Helen~

A middle age man walked up to her and slapped her across the face.

"Hector!" his wife cried, and ran forward to hug her daughter.

"What is it, Dad?" Helen spoke back bitterly. "I'm making you proud!"

"But not at the cost of your brother!" he shouted back at her. "You know he won't last a minute against you!"

"Well, if I'm lucky, he'll be killed before that," Helen said.

Her mother burst into hysterics. Her father spat at her feet.

"Good luck in the Games," he said. "May you have the luck your mother did."

Helen glared at her father and kissed her mother.

"Mom, I'll be okay. I'm a Career, so I'm guaranteed to last a while. So goodbye."

Helen boarded the train and turned around and stared at her family as the train pulled away.

-One Hour Earlier-

"And the Tributes for District 2 are now,'' Joshua Neks said to the crowd. He was privileged to be the one choosing the names. The two names whom he might later kill.

"Our Male Tribute, Pollux Castor!" he shouted. The crowd cheered.

A young boy, looking a little scared, walked up onstage.

"And Pollux comes from a long line of Hunger Games winners," Neks said brightly, "So in keeping with his family tradition, nobody can volunteer to take his place!"

The boys in the crowd moaned. There went their chance.

"And our Female Tribute, Hermione Granger!"

A girl who was about fourteen stood up, but was quickly shoved to the ground by Helen.

"I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE" Helen Castor shouted. She jumped up onstage and drew her sword. The eighteen year old girl stood menacingly on stage. "Anyone want to challenge me?" she asked the crowd.

The crowd was silent. Neks smirked. Siblings, this was new.

"Okay then," Neks said, "Let's wish our two tributes, Pollux and Helen Castor luck in the Hunger Games!"|

The crowd cheered.
