Lies laid on the floor, taking a break from the previous fight with the guy she believed to be named Roy Mustang. "We should be going now. We still have to find the little boy toy." Envy smirked standing over Lies. Sighing Lies got up, "Its not really much fun fighting him..... but anything to find the Philosiphers Stone." Lies said walking away. "Where do you think your going? This way." Lust said appearing from the shadows. "Were going to pay the General a visit....along with Ed and Al" Lies nodded walking forward and to the small town where the military base lay. Little did she know many other people where in that town in which she would soon meet.

 

~Hours later~

 

"We finally arrived. Never thought we would." Pride smirked looking around.

Along a dirt road, sat a man in his late teens. His entire face was covered up, yet blue hair could still be visible from under his hat. He was beneath a tree, the limbs giving him nice and comfortable shade. The man was asleep, yet tapped his fingers on a root, as if listening to mental song. After a moment, he woke up, standing as he gazed up into the air.

He made no words, but seemed to have somewhere to head to. He causally stepped back onto the dirt road, heading in a general direction of north. Far off a ways, the large Capital City could be seen.

Lies heard calm footsteps and looked ahead to see a man, going North as well. She watched him closely, not saying a word and hoping none of the other homunculi noticed. She watched him up ahead until Wrath spoke out, "What are ya' looking at!?" He asked excitedly. Lies looked at the small kid and smiled, "Nothing Wrath." "Lies..." Greed huffed. Lies shot him a glare, "Nice pun but im not in the mood to fight." She sneered. Looking up ahead back at the young man who walked along the lonely dirt road.

 

"Who exactly are you?" She said quietly.

"Homunculi." The man whispered. He clapped his hands, and touche the earth. He rose, and the ground rose with him. In a moment, he was holding a large spear, formed from the earth itself.

"You are the bane of this planet." The man said, his blue over-robe slightly blowing in the gentle breeze. For a moment, the man's startling blue eyes could be seen. He readied his spear, giving off the feeling he was strong...and dangerous.

Lies inhaled deeply. 

Had he seen them?

"Everyone!" Lies yelled slamming her fist into the ground and lifting them only to create a long sword. 

She got into fighting formation. "We can do this!!" She yelled only to have everyone groan.

"Lies..." Envy murmered. Ignoring Envy's comment Lies ran forward and launched her first attack.

Giving the illusion she would attack physically but instead she used a type of fire alchemy to create a smoke bomb to blind the attacker.

If the scarf covering the man's face was down, no smile would have shown. The man slammed his spear into the ground, and clapped his hands once more, forming a solid cage around himself, protecting his body from all sides- and against any attack...as long as the cage would hold.

The man slammed his fists against the walls, and the cage exploded, sending hard rock in every direction.

"You are too cocky, too quick to attack." The said, pulling his spear out.

"Huh? Hmm." Lies sneered in disgust at the man. She landed on her feet, skidding back slightly. The other Homunculi just watched. "You shouldnt be talking." Lies retorted, jumping back into an attack she raced towards the man again and kicked her shoe in his direction. She landed back on the ground and looked at the man, a glare plastered on her face. "Hmmm." She growled then stood up straight, "Who are you?" She asked demanding for an answer. Gluttony drooled as usual, his wide eyes watching for the right moment to attack. Envy smirked as he watched the two. Lust watched in shock as Lies confronted the man face-to-face.

 

"And no stalling!" She added sternly

"That is none of your business, demon." The man spat, twirling his spear threatningly. The man stepped back, his face obscured by his hat. His eyes were covered again, most of his face covered in shadow.

"You are the sins of man, created by the greatest sin...." The man said, shuddering at the thought of the one thing he did wrong- trying to bring back his dead sister. It failed, and his left arm was taken from him. Replaced by a decent enough peice of automail. It was covered in a long set of cloth-like bandages, the same on his normal arms and legs.

Lies scoffed at his scornful words, "I'm not a demon!!! I was created by the help of your mistake so blame my creation on yourself! Thats right. I remember!" She smirked upon recalling the obnoxious young woman, and her stupid brother who had tried human transmutation to bring his lost sibling back. "Although I must say thank you for this body.... without it I wouldnt be here not caring about your problem!" She shouted laughing to the point of insanity but then regaining composure. 

 

She continued laughing, "I can say I care... but i'd be lying. Maybe I am a sin.... but at the moment sin is much greater than a mere man." She teased crossing her arms and sticking out her tongue. Wrath came to her side and glared at the boy. 

 

Lies smiled down at Wrath and petted his head, since he was like a little brother to her. "Now... Your name? I'll give you mine... Lies here." She smirked

The man grimaced.

So this is the monster I have unleashed upon the world. She does resemble Her..is She was a sociopath of a demon, who obviously lies. The man thought, gripping the shaft of the spear even harder.

"And what good does it do you to know my name?" He asked, waiting for something to happen. He noticed the second Homunculi appear, and he realized almost all of them were together; if not, all of them.

"This is getting quite interesting.."

"Your right, names are nothing of right now....But do you know why I cam into this world.... equivalant exchange. And I couldnt thank you more for this-" -Lies lifted up her sleeve to reveal an arm that wasnt of her own- "Thanks to you I was able to make it to the gate..."

 

Wrath looked up at Lies then to the man. 

 

"Do you know why I lie? Cause thats all your sister ever did. She lied! 'oh im ok' you bet to hell she wasnt." Lies smirked showing her sharp pointy canines to the man who stood before her..

 

"Anyway.... Point being i'm simply whats left of your sister... typically you could call me your sister, but im not because im just the lies she left behind....get it now?" Lies asked. At this point Envy and Greed where at her side... ready to attack while Lust, Pride, and Sloth watched from behind.

The man remained quiet. He looked immensly powrful, his clothing signifying one who traveled far and wide, and never truly found a place to call home; a lost soul.

"You are no one to me. My family is gone." The man replied. He readied the spear once more. "I will not fall so easily, Homunculi." The man raised his head, as if he was trying to make himself look superior. He took his gloves off, stuffing them into his pocket. There, was red markings on his pale palms.

"Ready yourselves, demons."

As he called them demons Lies looked down to Wrath her clung onto her skirt tightly... he looked furious.

 

"We arent demons!!!" She yelled, she heard the mumbled whispers of Envy and Lust... she ignored them. She breathed heavily due to frustration and broke free of the grasp Wrath had on he launching herself at the man. "You are nothing!" She yelled, tears threatened to form in her eyes. 

 

Nodding to the group, Sloth hurled herself towards the man as well. Followed by the others.

 

"If you are something them prove it... cant can you?" She cringed slamming her nails into the mans face... just enough to cut any revealed skin

The man jumped backwards, wiping some blood from his face. He hat stayed on, but his scarf had lowered a bit, revealing his lower face. A red marking could be seen on his right eye, but little else.

The man clapped again, slamming his fists down into the ground. With a roar, the ground itself retaliated, and assaulted the Homunculi with spears, all of them crashing down upon the group.

Lies smirked upon seeing the man bleed. 

 

Seeing him slam his fist into the ground and creating rain of spears she took advantage of a nearby lake and created a shield of water over her 'family'. Unfortuanantly the shield broke as one last spear was falling from the sky and stabbed her shoulder.

 

Turning her head slowly to look at the spear she grabbed it and ripped it out.

 

Her shoulder bled badly but she shrugged. "Its just a scratch.... im ok." She smiled faintly to her colleagues. She looked at the man. "Silver. Right?" She asked holding her shoulder after another memory was gained.

The man- Silver, straightened his back.

"That was my name long ago." He muttered, pulling out a black bead. "And I have grown tired of you, demons. You won't be able to reach the city." Silver sighed pulling off his hat for only one moment, revealing his face:

 

 

He placed his hat back on, slamming the bead down. The bead exploded, and an inky black cloud oozed out, clouding the entire road. By the time it cleared, Silver was gone.

"We will make it to the city." Lies growled lowly... "Silver is your name.... it always will be." She added in low whisper as Silver disappeared in the smoke. 

 

"come now... we must'nt dilly dally." She smiled holding her should still crimson red with blood. "I will see Ed... and Al.... I will make it to the city." She thought, and she was now more determined than ever.

 

~Few hours later~

 

They were inside the city limits by now and people watched them carefully. Chatter rose about and Lies held her head high... as she told the others to do even though she knew they had more pride than her. 

Silver had already gotten to the city. He silently sat atop a rooftop, away from anyone's view. By this time, he had already contaacted the militia. Within moments, the local military would descend upon the Homunucli

"They are too cocky..not seeing they are not welcome. They are demons...they nearly killed us all." Silver stood up, and leapt down into the nearest alleyway. Covered by darkness, he watched the Homunculi, and waited for the military.

Lies walked through the town and held her head high. She could feel the stares of local towns people, she could hear the gasps and gossip. Wrath came up by her side, she smiled and put her her hand on top of his head. 

 

"Homunculus... such pitiful distorted beings." "They should die." "Have they no shame?" She heard some chatter in one group. They must have been former prisoners since they were ragged and torn. One was smoking a cigar and the others were drinking light alcohol. 

 

"The demons are amo-" One of them started but Lies stomped over and grabbed them by the collar, pulling them down to her height. "Shut up..." She growled pushing the man into a building and walking away back to her colleagues. 

 

"Lies... what were you thinking?" Pride asked. "Your not helping us." Sloth added.

 

Lies smirked and stayed quiet. Wrath came back up to her and she picked the small boy up... like the teacher use to. Although she was only 17 and typically Wrath and Envy were like her younger brothers she treated them in the motherly way they never had. 

 

But this was when Lies Noticed something was wrong....

Once again, Silver's scarf held no emotion. He wasn't the cocky type, but from his alleyway, he could already see the large squadron of military men moving in- headed by none other than Roy Mustang himself.

They even brought the Flame Alchemist? Silver thought, not surprised, Alright then. Silver quietly moved from his position, and out of the dark way. He walked a bit, crossing his arms as he watched the infantry move.

Lies stopped and looked behind her to see that Lust had picked up on the problem as well. Lies set wrath down and looked straight ahead.

 

She saw the military men walking towards them in a slow wave. She didnt think much of it till she saw Roy Mustang, Ed, and Al Elric with them. 

 

dang Silver... this is his doing.

 

Lies thought, gritting her teeth and getting ready for the long battle that was about to take place... although 8 to 50... they had no chance.

The infantry unit stopped before the group of Homunculi. The Flame Alchemist- Roy Mustang himself stepped forward.

"You trespass on public ground. Under Article 1 of the Anti-Homunculi Act, all beings such as your self are to eliminated on sight, without hesitation." Roy lifted his hand, and the men with him pulled out standard rifles. He flcked his hand at the group, and every soldier readied their weapons.

Mustang is more feirce than I first thought.... Silver thought, leaning against a wall.

Lies stood before the Flame Alchemists, who was alot taller than her but she just smirked. 

 

"How sad... I really thought we were welcomed. No one ever said that Homunculi were typically worse than the military who if I recall took hundreds of lives in Ishbal." Lies said cockily. She looked over to see Ed frowning as he was ready for battle. 

 

"Hmph. Have you ever Lied to yourself before? Yes you have... Just to let you know that only makes me stronger. So right now, I can beat you all." Lies said although she knew she was lying to herself.

Roy frowned, "That event was to maintain peace- the entire war itself, if I recall, was manipulated by you Homunculi. Therefore, the blame settles on you." Roy snapped his fingers, a bit of flame emitting from it.

"I am not one to trifle with, Homunculi." Roy threatened, his face sincere and dark. Silver sighed, standing straight up. He sat down, placing a palm on the ground...as if waiting.

Lies smirked, "We did no such thing as too start the war." She smirked

 

Lies jumped back a little as Roy snapped his finger but she gritted her teeth.

 

"Trifling is part of the game, dont ya know?" She smiled getting ready to fight.

Naomi sat silently back at the military base.Ed and Al had told her to stay behind because of the danger.

But after awhile of sitting with nothing to do she became extremely bored.

"Hey maybe i could help them out i'm sure they won't mind!"She said cheerfully,jumping out of her seat.

 

She asked for directions before leaving to find everyone.
