Today was the last episode for this season ending at Episode 13. I highly recommend and it's probably one of the best recent anime out there. A bit short and I wish it would last longer. It's a bit futuristic and it's quite different. I'll leave the details out and you should go watch it :D 

 

Any expectations for Season 2? The Manga is still continuous. I haven't read it but I might soon.

    I hope there will be a second season, but the ending kind makes that seem unlikely to me. Oh well, still have those OVAs to look forward to.

    Yeah it does. Especially how it ended... But the Manga is still going. The author is still writing them and I haven't read any so there might be more. Plus I think this is one of the successful animes starting in Spring along with many others.

    The manga is based on the anime, not the other way around. I know that's rarer than the reverse, but it's true. The manga will likely end at the exact same place.

    Really? I'm looking at the wiki and it says the manga started in January 2013 and the anime was released April 2013.

    The reason they do that is because it helps hype up the anime. It helps spread the word that the concept exists. If you look on the main gargantia page on the wiki under manga, it clearly says that the manga is an adaptation of the anime.

    I see. Well I feel somewhat dumb now haha. Thanks for the clarification. 

    I guess we can only "hope" for a Season 2 but the ending does make it seem less viable.
